It is currently under new ownership and am happy to say it is the same great service I have always gotten. I initially brought my car in for a timing belt replacement and alignment. After bringing in my car they called and confirmed that the timing belt should be replaced and also let me know the alignment was good but may need to be serviced later on. I had asked if they would also do a fluid flush on my transmission as it hadn't been changed since it come from the dealership (~190,000 Miles) and was going to do it myself but decided I would leave it to the professionals since I was already taking my car in. On July 31, 2023 at 1751 my 17 year old son, Sergio Vaccaro, called Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin and asked would they install his alternator and how much it would cost. Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin stated they would install the alternator for $150.00 and they could install on Thursday. My son agreed. My son, Sergio V. took his car in and handed the alternator to Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff member. At that time Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff member said they may not get to it until Monday but would call them if Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff finished sooner. On Friday, August 4, 2023 Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff member called my son 1117 and stated the alternator he brought in would not fit and my son, Sergio V. said okay and Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin staff member called my son, Sergio V., at 1250 to state that his vehicle was completed. My son, Sergio V., picked up his vehicle from Tess Corners Automotive of Muskego Wisconsin at 1635. The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. Multiple customers to the gas station came in to get food/drinks and I had to awkwardly get out of their way while I waited. They were also running behind so they couldn't get to my car for at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. They did a good job on the car and had a detailed report plus the oil change for a very fair price but honestly I'll probably go somewhere else next time cause its just less convenient when they don't have an adequate waiting room for people getting something quick done.
