My friend and I went there for lunch today. She bought 1 pound of chicken salad and asked for a fork and a plate to eat some of it before she took the rest of it home. It was $11. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and it was $14.25 and there was barely a schmear of chicken salad on the croissant. guess I should have bought a pound of it and a croissant. Small coffee shop in downtown Marietta. We had breakfast there last Sunday. The food and coffee were very good. I tried the everything bagel with avocado and sausage. We were the only people in the shop at about 9am. It took at least 5 minutes before anyone came to the counter to take our order. Meanwhile, about 4 more people got in line behind us. Then 2 more. We waited. And waited. And waited. After 20 minutes, I went up and asked if I could please have my coffee. Just coffee, not a latte or anything requiring more than a single pour from a pot. I was told that they had a lot of orders and were working on it. After 10 more minutes I asked again, not very politely. And very impolitely, I was told they were working on it. Finally received my coffee which was not very hot, had to ask twice for milk or cream, and received my extremely salty egg bite which had the consistency of a hockey puck. Inedible. The 4 fresh raspberries beside it were good. Also overpriced. I would go waaay out of my way to avoid this place ever again. read more

brought my out of town girlfriend in for coffee, and she ordered a chai with oat milk. they said they sweeten it with peppermint, and we were skeptical, and yep- weird and not good. i love pumpkin stuff so i got the pumpkin s'mores latte, mostly tasted like a large glass of chocolate milk, could not taste the espresso at all. it also took them a long while to make the two drinks as well. the food here that i have gotten before is amazing ( we split a cinnamon roll- to die for) but i paid $19 for two drinks and a pastry and the drinks were gross. maybe stop somewhere else for caffeine and eat their food instead. read more

I wouldn't have even known this was a coffee shop but glanced in while I was walking by and saw a tiny coffee sign. I kind of wish I hadn't even bothered but I needed a place to hang out while I waited to be somewhere. I grabbed a muffin and a chai. I was definitely expecting better. My muffin was unque to say the least. I didn't really taste the orange and it was pretty dry. I got my chai having even higher hopes, it was house made and I've made homemade chai before. It tasted like watered down tea. Not sweet at all! I wish I would have tried literally anything else. I'd planned on the London fog! Not to mention my drink wasn't even hot. Their food and service is amazing!!!! I was offered a refill of my iced tea for free, and the basic breakfast sandwich wasn't basic at all. There were tons of options to pick from. Typically stop here when visiting family and want to go shopping downtown. Place is fairly large and there is an entire separate room for seating. Stopped in for lunch with my husband. Staff was friendly and patient. I had gf tomato soup and gf cinnamon roll, my husband had a grilled chicken salad. Both of our meals were outstanding. We enjoyed our meals so much we came back for breakfast. My husband had Spinach & Swiss quiche garnished with fresh spinach leaves and raspberries. I had a gf cinnamon raisin bagel. Ordered through yelp (grubhub) and when i went to pick up my order they told me they do not use grub hub as if I should've known - then they made the order after i showed them. Overall the lady who I spoke with was extremely rude and tried to make me feel bad about ordering online and then didn't include part of my order. read more

I love their coffee! The desserts and pastries are really good too. My husband always orders their pepperoni rolls, super good! I really wasn't a fan of the eggless quiche. The ambiance is great and staff is friendly. My latte was great but I cannot speak to their actual espresso or coffee because I got a sugary drink. My bagel sandwich was okay but was great with hot sauce and even better once I took the dry sausage off. I would come here again to try the pastries and give the coffee an official review but it was overall a positive experience. read more

Jeremiah's Coffee House is a real good coffee shop in Marietta. It's hard to believe something like this is there. The coffee beats the chains. It's a nice relaxing place to take off a load. The service was great too. If you're expecting another dump in this decaying old town, it's not what this is. It may just be the best place to get coffee in Marietta. They would for sure be if not for Stoked Coffee, which is also better than any of the chains in town. An advantage of this place is the atmosphere. One thing apparent is it's big enough to spread out while it still feels cozy. Coffee is the most important thing of course. It has a fairly big menu. The house blend is by Cafe Brioso in Columbus. It also features many flavored coffees. They also have smoothies if you need to chill out. If you're hungry they also have food. The veggie hummus wrap is about $6, and they have some other healthy options. Whenever I'm in Marietta I would be sure to go to Jeremiah's Coffee House. It has the best atmosphere. Coffee is very good. BUT the barista made me a hot americano instead of iced. When she went to fix her error, l watched her get a cup of ice and begin to put the hot coffee in. I placed an order for two items (Baja bowl and a grilled chicken salad, sub shrimp, no feta, ranch dressing). I received a grilled chicken salad with chicken, extra feta and raspberry vinaigrette. I called to advise that I thought I had received the wrong salad and the young lady told me that the bowl of lettuce, chicken, feta, and raspberry vinaigrette was actually the Baja bowl. Okkkkk. The grilled chicken is smoke flavor added, cold, and not house made. Not at all impressed. Poor customer service. Mediocre food at best. They order all their produce, dairy and dessert supplies from Instacart. Hundreds of pounds of groceries multiple times a week and tip $2 dollars for a delivery with 300 pounds of milk products. Not a nice business at all. Yuk!! read more

For the longest time I've not tried this place. We decided to order it off of DoorDash today. Big mistake. My husband said the "biscuits" & gravy was sourdough toast and watery nasty gravy. My miah platter was gross too. The bacon was practically raw. I also ordered a crème brûlée latte which I would give a 4/10. Not good but compared to the food was better than the food for sure. The only positive I can say is that the tomatoes and avocado was fresh. But the rest was a huge disappointment. I'll definitely stick to Stoked for my coffee drinks. I like the decor. Food is okay-good. I love the variety of gluten free options which I've been told are prepared in a gluten-free kitchen off-site. However I was disappointed to see that my GF brownie, cheesecake and pecan bar were out of date. The cheesecake was 2 weeks out of date!! All the bakery items looked great but didn't taste as good as they looked, probably for this reason. I only noticed they were past their sell by date once I had eaten them. I always seem to get an inexperienced staff member serving me too, with little knowledge of the ingredients of the item, or where it was made. I don't have many gluten free options in Marietta, where I don't need to worry about cross-contamination, so I wish this cafe would improve in these areas. read more

The only reason I am giving a star because I have to. This past Saturday 2/3/24 went in 2 other people in there and counted 5 workers. Got cupcakes and order the chicken bacon ranch. Received my cupcakes right away. However, we waited 25 mins for my sandwhich. The employees walked past the order ticket and looked at it several times and walked off. They just all stood around until I finally gave up and went and told them to forget it that I sat here waiting 25 mins. The cupcakes were so dry that just touching them they fell apart and crumbled. Every once in a while I try Jeremiah's again because it's a nice location and I want to support local, non chain businesses but I keep being really disappointed. The plain brewed coffee I recently got was tepid and tasted like milk with coffee essence. My daughter said the same thing about her chai. My quiche was also lukewarm and pasty in texture. It almost seemed made from tofu instead of eggs and cheese. There are also no baked goods, besides bagels, that aren't total sugar bombs. Yuck. If I want sugar I can eat little Debbie. I long for a muffin, oatmeal cookie or scone that is fresh, wholesome, slightly sweet. read more

I try very hard not to write negative reviews, especially for a small business. I've had good meals here in the past. I stopped in today to get 2 sandwiches to go. The Southwest Turkey Sandwich, at nearly $10, came with 2 thin slices of turkey, some bacon, but no cheese and no guacamole, both of which were featured as ingredients. When I opened it up, I was in such disbelief that I called them to find out if something had gone wrong. Many businesses, if given the chance, want to make things right. Not this one. I got the telephone equivalent of a shoulder shrug. I understand that it's incredibly hard to staff and operate businesses like this in our post-pandemic reality, but not making good on mistakes made at the customer's expense is inexcusable. Very disappointed. Took my grand daughter there because she wanted to try the food. I have had the food several times before but probably won't order from there again for awhile. Our order was a medium coffee with cream and sugar, a gluten free cordon Bleu with no pesto, Chai iced tea, a pepperoni roll, and an orange macaroon, and a blueberry macaroon. What we received a coffee with no sugar, the sandwich done correctly, a gluten free pepperoni roll, Chai tea done correctly,a strawberry macaroon and a blueberry macaroon. Now I told my grand daughter to take the pepperoni room up and exchange it bc I have to eat gluten free and I will never eat another one bc they are gross. Well the counter person snapped at her and said that was all they had. So my grand daughter came over and sat down and I sa8d do you want me to go talk to them and she said no that is fine. She got 2 bites into it and said grandma I can't and I said I understand. So I gave her some money and sent her back in. She got a garden salad with no tomatoes no dressing. What was received a garden salad with tomatoes and no dressing. Once I can understand with 1 mess up. I worked food service for years. Again she says grandma it's okay. So she ate most of it. The tomatoes were diced so there were still seeds and stuff in the salad so anyway, that was the experience. read more
