Jeremiah's is a fun, gelato/ice-cream serving storefront, which offers up outdoor seating which has become a hangout for teenagers and families. You order your gelato/ice-cream from the friendly cashiers through one of the open windows, pay, scoot out of the way to let the person behind you do the same thing, then have your name called to pick up your order a few moments later. The line always looks bad here, BUT the wait tends to pass fairly quickly. I've only been in line with other friendly patrons, so I've never really been bothered by having to wait here. I think maybe the longest I ever waited in the sidewalk line was 15 minutes. Tonight, I order the Scoop Froggy Frog, with chocolate ice-cream. Went on a Tuesday around 6 and the line was long! This location is busy, at least around the time and day I was there. There is no indoor seating just outdoor. I went to Jeremiah's today to try their frozen expresso, they have a free offer that could be used after check in with Yelp, and I also bought small cup of gelati for my daughter. Daughter ordered a lemon with vanilla soft serve, she was trying the lemon flavor and she really liked it. For the free expresso offer, I chose the sea salt caramel flavor, and I felt it was too sweet, I drank a little and then watered it down and then that made it better and was able to drink it more. It wasn't bad, just too sweet. I wished I could have tried the other two, maybe for a future testing I would have preferred a fly, or a small side for the three so I could compare the flavors, and see any of the others are better. It was a free offer tho so not complaining, thanks Jeremiah's and Yelp for it, I was happy to try new things, and have a variety of options. This is my first time going to a Jeremiah's Italian Ice that was a walk up. They had about 32 flavors available today! Already I'm feeling really good. The line was a bit long and the wait was about 20 minutes from back to front in order for us to order and get our dessert. I really like Jeremiah's because they allow you to try as many flavors as you'd like with no judgment. We tried the mango, melonball, and banana. So so good. I am glad I didn't write this review on my first visit to Jeremiah's. I came here for the Italian ice, and no, it is nothing like Italian ice, so that was a disappointment. Maybe I misheard, or maybe they meant Ai-ta-lian ice? Despite the difference, I noticed that this is a hangout spot for kids and teens, and adults who refuse to grow up. When family comes, I take them to Jeremiah's, if there is nothing to do, or I don't feel like driving far in search of some hard to find gourmet experience. In all honesty, this is a step up from the other soft serve options, like DQ, MD, BR, TT, there is an obscure pattern in soft serve ice cream shops. On subsequent visits, I have tasted their ice cream and it is not that bad. Ice cream and ice here is very sweet, has cool flavors and pretty interesting combinations, like the vanilla with "pina colada" on top, or the double flavored swirls. The cones are extra tall, so be ready for that. I am still to order one for myself, but I always find someone that will share with me. Under the current pandemic situation, social distancing is enforced, no tables are available, but the take out window is open to the public. read more

Walked up to this place confused. I've never seen an ice cream shop where you couldn't even go in. The servers take your order through the two windows. Felt like I was at a drive through. My girlfriend insisted that I try a gelati (soft serve ice cream layered with flavored Italian ice) so I obliged. Picking flavors was really hard though. Not because everything looked so tasty, but more so because there weren't exactly a lot of flavors that I thought would taste good with chocolate ice cream. I'm all for trying new things but Chocolate doesn't seem like it would mesh well with lemon basil or sour green apple. It's a good thing they let you sample all the ice flavors. I ended up liking the cookies and cream as well as the caffe latte (basically coffee) so I went with those flavors combined with the chocolate soft serve. Ended up liking it. Nothing spectacular about it. Just tasted like good ice cream with some shaved ice and a hint of coffee. Still great on a hot day though. They were also offering a 4th of July special called the 4th of Gelati (very clever), and as a proud American I of course had to get it. There's no indoor seating obviously so be prepared to sit outside. Good thing is they have umbrellas at some of their tables for the sun. I'd definitely come back here but I think I'll just stick with the regular soft serve, or if I'm in the mood, straight up Italian ice. read more
