Stopped in to try the vital Crunchin cookie parfait. The worker at the register was so nice and she immediately knew what we wanted. The food came out fast and was hot. The restaurant was also very clean.

Don't DQ this DQ if you're looking for a bite to eat. I prefer when they called them Brazier stores but I guess that people didn't know what that meant so they adopted the Grill and Chill moniker. They should make a brassiere store... two scoops please! This is close to us and I don't go too oven because, you know, ice cream isn't that great for you. Their blizzards are an iconic treat and some are better than others. The M&Ms get too hard for my brittle teeth. The past trip was for their $7 meal deal with 3 tenders with fries, drink and a sundae. That's pretty sweet (ha!) so it was done. The tenders were good and the fries were good and the sundae was good, so 4 stars means good. Their burgers have always been good too and their Flamethrower burger is like putting your mount on the end of a real flamethrower (Ok, not really). It's spicy though! I'm trying to cut down on red meat a bit, or this would have been on my order. It is also WAY more expensive than I remember. They're not winning any chicken sandwich wars or anything, but it's a solid option in a sea of many other options. They definitely have the better dessert options in the FF world though! If you like a sweet treat with your meal, this is the place (not Ace).

Dairy Queen is an iconic part of America's landscape and a fond memory to so many who associate with bygone ice cream summers. My daughter and I stopped in tonight and both chose a Blizzard loader with peanut butter and while there are many far more high end ice cream establishments, Dairy Queen holds it's own as an ice cream shop to be reckoned with. In addition to ice cream, Dairy Queen offers burgers, hot dogs, and other fast food type food offerings. I would recommend stopping by a Dairy Queen and tasting what generations before have enjoyed. Dairy Queen is more than ice cream. It is more than burgers and hot dogs. Dairy Queen is a part of the fabric of businesses that we have long associated as a part of the fabric of memories.

Pros: This place has fantastic ice cream treats at a reasonable price. They also have some fast food favorites. Cons: I was craving a classic Ice Cream Sundae, which typically includes vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry on top; it was nowhere to be found on the menu. The service can be a little slow if you go inside. Sampaguita is known to be very busy (which is amazing) but I was lucky to only wait maybe 5 minutes to order. While waiting I loved looking at the merch up front. The shirt design is beautiful. I was surprised to also see cookie options too! The interior is lovely. The design is so airy and pretty. My ice cream was great! I ordered a flavor that had pineapple in it and got the pineapple caramel sauce on top! It is so flavorful and creamy. Great all around dessert. My boyfriend ordered a strawberry shake and loved it. He finished it within a few minutes. We grabbed a table about halfway down the hallway. We sat forawhile and was able to chat and enjoy our desserts. We had a great afternoon visiting here.

It's a small ice cream shop located on the main strip of Colonial Drive. The bright lit sign stands out from afar. It was busy with people inside and outside of the shop. There's scoop options and sundae floats. We got the mini floats of the Halo Halo and a Mango Sticky rice. Both were so good and refreshing. We didn't think it was overly sweet for dessert. In fact, we took the team's suggestion and had vegan ube ice cream. We've tried vegan ice cream in the past and it was not good. This was actually good for vegan ice cream option. We normally share when it comes to desserts like this, but we finished our own. Recommend this dessert spot if you're in town or nearby! Seating is limited since it is a small place.

Finally got the chance to try Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko, and what a delight it was!!…read more Upon arrival, there was a bit of a line, but thankfully it moved pretty quickly. My order came out quickly. I got their matcha latte with ube foam, and it was a dream in a cup. In comparison to some other places I've gotten matcha from, Cafe Maiko is definitely a top contender. The overall decor is trendy and very clean. They have a cute circular chair that's IG/social media-worthy for a cute photo op. It is quaint inside, with a decent amount of seating. There's some bench seating up front as well, and I believe there is also a bench for seating just outside. Thankfully, I was getting my order to go, as the day and time I arrived, there was no seating readily available. Beyond that, it is a very cute cafe. The parking situation is FOREVER a challenge in the Mills District area, so just be cognizant of that. Pricing was very reasonable. The staff was so kind and helpful (if you had any questions). All in all, for my first experience, I truly enjoyed every bit of it.

We walked into a cute and welcoming space with a menu built around showcasing matcha in different forms rather than treating it as just another flavor option. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the theme well, though seating is limited and it can get crowded during busy times, making it better suited for a quick dessert stop or grabbing a drink to enjoy nearby rather than settling in for a long visit. The main reason to visit is the matcha soft serve and dessert selection. The matcha flavor is noticeably rich and earthy, with a stronger tea profile compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. The soft serve has a smooth, creamy texture and works especially well in combinations like matcha shaved ice, floats, or parfait-style creations. The matcha shaved ice stands out with layers of shaved ice, matcha soft serve, red bean, mochi, and Japanese chestnuts, creating a dessert that has different textures in every bite. The combination of the creamy soft serve with the chewy mochi and the slight bitterness of the matcha creates a balanced dessert that does not rely solely on sugar for flavor. The drink menu gives plenty of ways to experience matcha, from hot and iced matcha drinks to floats and specialty creations. Options like matcha with ube, matcha lattes with foam, and hojicha drinks add variety for anyone who wants something beyond traditional matcha. The café also offers coffee options, which makes it easier for groups with different preferences to find something they enjoy. The matcha lattes are well balanced, with the earthy notes of the tea coming through clearly without being masked by milk or sweetness. Beyond matcha, the menu includes other Japanese-inspired desserts like taiyaki, mochi-based items, and seasonal offerings. The combination of traditional flavors and playful presentations makes the café feel like a dessert destination rather than just a drink shop. The desserts are also visually appealing, with the kind of presentation that makes them worth taking a photo before digging in. The taiyaki are crisp on the outside and filled with a sweet red bean paste that contrasts nicely with the cold soft serve. Service is friendly and helps keep the experience smooth even when the café is busy. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and make it easy to choose between the many matcha options, offering clear descriptions of the flavor profiles and texture differences between the soft serve, shaved ice, and latte options. Because the café has a strong focus on quality matcha and specialty desserts, it can get popular during peak hours, so visiting outside the busiest times may make it easier to find seating and take your time with the menu. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha or wants to try Japanese-style matcha desserts. The combination of rich matcha flavor, creative menu options, and a cozy café atmosphere makes it stand out from typical dessert shops. It feels like a place worth visiting when you want a matcha experience that goes beyond a basic latte, offering a dessert that feels both authentic and indulgent without being overly sweet.

From the top of the swirl to the very bottom of the inside of my cone, there was not a single air pocket to be found. I got the chocolate flavored ice cream, and every bite was chocolatey and creamy heaven. Now, if you know your desserts, the cone that is used is usually known as a chimney cake. It is a sweet pastry that is soft on the inside and has a glass-like crunchy exterior that is coated with cinnamon and sugar. It's a little like eating a cruffin, but with a crunchier exterior due to their special way of making it. Definitely worth trying at least once if you've never tried it before. Overall, if you're looking to impress a foodie with something sweet, decadent, and pretty, I'd say give this place a go. The ice cream is as perfect and delicious as you see it.
