Their blizzards are an iconic treat and some are better than others. The M&Ms get too hard for my brittle teeth. The past trip was for their $7 meal deal with 3 tenders with fries, drink and a sundae. That's pretty sweet (ha!) so it was done. The tenders were good and the fries were good and the sundae was good, so 4 stars means good. Their burgers have always been good too and their Flamethrower burger is like putting your mount on the end of a real flamethrower (Ok, not really). It's spicy though! I'm trying to cut down on red meat a bit, or this would have been on my order. It is also WAY more expensive than I remember. This place has the worst customer service. I tried it a year ago and it was terrible then. Went back again and now even the assistant manager is terrible. He made the mistake and would not correct it and shut the window in my face. I went inside to speak with the manager and got the same assistant manager. When I asked for his name and advised him that I would be speaking with their corporate office he said doesn't matter he will be leaving in a week. You can tell that he could care less about the owner of the franchise and their customers. This is the worst DQ in all of Florida. OWNER I'm extending you constructive criticism. You may or may not read this. But This Dairy Queen needs fixing. We sat in there drive thru not moving for 20 min. And to be clear this is an every day thing. At any given point in the evenings you can see the line wrapped almost around the building. The service is poor and after waiting in line for this long you'd think they'd be a little more polite. The turnover is incredible and you never see the same person twice working there. Just a quick update since my last review. Since then, I have visited this DQ 2 times. BOTH TIMES they were out of Chocolate Ice Cream!!!! The 2 main flavors are Vanilla and Chocolate..How do you run out of 50% of your offerings, 2 times, within 1 week! I couldn't believe it. I could definitely understand if I was asking for an obscure flavor, but it seems like this location just constantly runs out of chocolate. On top of that, I waited in the drive thru line for about 15 minutes both times, only to be let down once I ordered. I was absolutely floored when I found out that Dairy Queen was coming back to East Orlando. Even better...they opened up not too far from my home. I love this place. Doesn't get any better than a Blizzard or a Peanut Buster Parfait on a hot day, or any other day for that matter. There is simply nothing like the texture of a Blizzard and having one packed with toppings. I have been going for the Brownie Batter, but they currently have a Grasshopper Mint & Chocolate flavor that is awesome. I don't even like Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream and I loved it. My only gripe would be that I wish they changed flavors more often, or at least swapped out one flavor on a regular basis. I feel like they are holding back. First to review! Summer is approaching. This Dairy Queen is horrible. Always super long lines wrapped around the store and having to wait for food and its getting worse! The last time i was there my husband we only wanted a lousy cone and waited half hour. People were turning off their cars! What are they doing milking the cow? Management needs to step up or they will just keep losing business. 4 stars for an excellent dipped cone! Dipped flavor options are chocolate, cherry, butterscotch. My favorite is good ole vanilla dipped in chocolate. The handle of the medium and large cones are deeper so you get more ice cream in your cone. Every time I've gotten a cone here it has been fresh, not stale. Stopped by midday after baseball for my kids, one of whom has a peanut allergy. This is the cleanest and nicest DQ I've ever been in. When mentioning the peanut allergy, the cashier went above and beyond, letting us know they would clean and disinfect the machine for us and make sure all utensils were clean and disinfected as well. I understand this isn't always fun for the workers, but they all did this with a smile on their faces to ensure our 3 year old could enjoy ice cream with his brother. Oh yeah, before we sat down, he came over and even offered to clean and disinfect the table and seats as well. Really wonderful experience. We will definitely be back to this location. read more

This is my first review. On August 1, 2022 at 7:28 PM I ordered a small oreo, mint blizzard. I pulled up to the window and paid with my card. I received my card and receipt. The cashier handed me an oreo blizzard. I ask if it had mint. She stated no. I replied that I had ordered mint oreo. That's when I noticed something was odd. The cashier, Leiana A, didn't greet me and seemed very upset, even hostile. She tersely took back the blizzard and added mint to it. But it wasn't mixed well. I asked for a freshly made blizzard. Leiana A stomped away, rolling her eyes and returned with a freshly made blizzard but handed it to me in an angry manner. I was really disturbed by the way I was being treated so I asked her, "Is there a problem." The cashier begins to state angrily that I was rude to her and continued on about how I was the one who pulled up rudely. Shocked, I asked to speak to the manager because she was becoming very aggressive. And it got worse from there. I explained the interaction between the cashier and myself and questioned why I was being treated that way. He stated I should have just taken my ice cream and drove off. I asked for his name and he became agitated and at first refused. So, I asked for the number of the owner. He aggressively, stated I would NEVER get the owner's number and all I could do was call corporate. Then he preceded to slam the drive-thru window in my face. I waited until they came back and stated I wanted my money back. The cashier, Leiana A, continued aggressively speaking to me. I asked for her name as well. She took off her badge and continued yelling at me. I finally, asked in what way was I rude and that's when Leiana A. had no reply. She became quiet. I was given my money back and a written note with Daniel Smith and a corporate number written on it. I assume Daniel Smith is the manager. Overall, it was a very terrible and shocking experience at Dairy Queen. Shocking and terrible. I am very disgusted in how I was treated. It made no sense at all. I don't know the cashier Leiana A. or the supposed manager Daniel Smith. They treated me in such an offensive manner and made it seem as if I was helpless. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood, DQ! Our Blizzards were very good, but with a few tweaks, you could have gotten 5 stars. First, allowing your sleeping employees (it was explained to us that they were on their break) with their heads down to take up tables on a busy Friday night just doesn't seem right. They need a better break area. When looking for a table, we were confused as a few of the empty ones had the little blue number things on them. Were they already taken? A customer explained that the people had left and the employees must have forgotten to pick them up when they delivered their orders. Why in the world, in a family place, would you have two big screen TV's tuned to the local NBC station. Closed captioned no less. We were treated to "Extra," including a less-than-family-friendly story and interview with Charlie Sheen with no volume, but with every word spelled out. The evening news with all its violence and such would have been on a half-hour before. What a treat for the kids. Like I said, the Blizzards were tasty. But I would hit the drive thru when we try the next time. I'll chalk the issues up to growing pains for now. I'm sure we will be back to try the "real food" soon. read more
