My mom was notified by Blue Cross that her drug coverage was going to be canceled at the end of the year. My sister put me in touch with Jeremy who she has been with for many years. Jeremy went to work and was able to get my mom a carrier that was able to cover her. By the way it was toward the end of the year so he had to jump through hoops to get this done, but he got her the coverage she needed. While I was talking to him I asked him to look at my coverage and give me any suggestions he had. Long story short he did and even saved me money for the exact same coverage. He put me in Blue Cross (Plan G) that I didn't even know existed. Also he mentioned that because my birthday month fell in a certian period of time that I was entitled to receive additional benefits through Blue Cross. Do yourself a favor and give Jeremy a call. I've been paying a FORTUNE for a crappy medical & dental plan that's based in NY (where I used to live) so it covers nothing out here in CA, but when I tried to apply for new coverage on my own I was rejected. Jeremy was fantastic to work with. I called Jeremy on the last day of Open Enrollment regarding buying some insurance for my mother; I couldn't get through so I left a message. Jeremy returned the call personally and spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me answering my questions in great detail, discussing options and the differences in the plans; but what was most incredible is that on the busiest insurance day of the year, he took the time to sit with me on the phone and listen. He never made me feel like I was taking too much time or that I needed to be quick about it the call.
