Beware.... I had…read moreused Dr. MCWilliams for over a year ... loved him and his nurses. The problem lies in a non/error-disclosure of insurance benefits. Dr. Williams recommended an in depth blood test be done which I was told was covered by my insurance company. We were in agreement and I had the test done. Fast forward 7 months later ... I received (for the first time... today) a 120 day past due invoice with a patient due amount of almost $3k! This test cost $10,985.94 ... of which insurance paid $8,068.82 which leaves an outstanding patient balance of $2,917.12. If I was made aware of what the patient responsibility on this test would be... I would have passed! I've worked health benefits with patients before, this should have been discussed before any blood test were ordered due to the patient responsibility being so high. I promptly called the Stone Creek Family Medicine (SCFM) today and was told I had to call their billing service.... which I had already done, first. (This prompted the call to SCFM as could only leave a call back number for the billing service.) When I asked SCFM why this expected patient portion of nearly $3k was not disclosed to me prior to the test being ordered, her answer was ... they ran it through an automated system to check on coverage. At this point, I asked to speak to the office manager. She said the manager was not available, so asked when she would be available. She said she didn't know as the office manager worked "sporadic" hours...really! She would only take a call back number, highly frustrating. So, I guess I'll have to wait until she shows up to work her "sporadic" hours and hope my contact information is passed on. Such a shame as Dr. McWilliams was great... Debra

I finally just walked up to the worker who was wasn't serving anyone but she refused to make eye contact. Went to use the restroom. No toilet seat covers. In a doctor's office? Are you serious. Lowe's has toilet seat covers for pete's sake. Called into an exam room and Stowers was super condescending. Nothing I enjoy more than feeling terrible and then having to tolerate a self-righteous, condescending doctor. Upon leaving I walk out and prior to entering the reception area there is a door that says check out with the front desk staff. I walk out with both front desk receptionists sitting there, not helping anyone, you would think they could say "checking out?". Something! I give her my name, she says nothing, I say thank you. She says nothing. Nothing! I did notice when I went in this time, there were only 2 patients in the waiting room. In the previous 3 visits, the waiting room was busy, not packed, but busy. Is this practice having a problem with revenue? I don't know. I do know that in spite of the convenient location for me, I will think twice before returning.

I was not abkw to speak when he called so I asked if I could call him back. When I did, I got sent to voicemail so I hung up and figured I call him back in a little while. About 20mins later, I get another call and it happened to be him! We spoke on the phone for quite a while and he listened to my experience and concerns etc! He was the sweetest man with such empathy and caring for others it actually kind of caught me off guard considering the other one there. He was an absolute angel to say the least! I told my husband as we left that day I wish I had seen him instead, never have meeting him before, but I bet I would've walked out happy not bawling my eyes out. After speaking to him, I guarantee I would've had the type of Dr and experience I needed, anticipated and want in a sensitive situation. If you do decide to go here, do NOT see "dr" Johnson, make sure to let Melissa, the angel front desk/asst, that you want an appt with Dr. Dibble ONLY. I can not thank you again Dr. Dibble for everything you did for me yesterday, you are a Godsend! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

On a Tuesday. i've come in there about four times and this is the same experience every single time and when the medicine needs to be signed off the "main doctor" is always out how is the doctor never in his office he's never there. every single time I call about this medicine they always say he just stepped out for the day. And I call in the morning like please make it make sense. My medicine is literally not life altering and won't kill me if I don't have it, but it's the simple fact that I'm supposed to be taking it regularly and it fluctuates in my body and I would like to not get off my schedule for it. it's so easy to not be lazy. I genuinely thought a bunch of older people. were writing bad reviews and complaining for no reason, but I'm 21 and the way they act is so old.. especially the ladies on the phone when I have to call because I have to call every single time at least once a day for about four days in a row and they get annoyed but imagine how I feel. They always have a bad attitude. and act like it's my fault.. god forbid when you pay for a service the service gets done and people do their jobs. also, the doctor Jason toole I'm pretty sure is his name is super chill and easy. but other then that the rest is so disappointing
