Love Kroger for food shopping. This Kroger is always clean and the employees are always helpful…read more Good assortment of items for vegitarians. Produce is always lovely. Kroger brand canned goods are just as good if not better than National Brands. Only problem is they are often out of sale items by the weekend. If you don't go the day the ad comes out you may not get the item. Also, ever sence the remodel there are often empty spaces on the shelves for everyday items. The week Corperate was in for the reopening was the last day the entire store was completely stocked. Lastly the self checkout area is to small for weekly grocery shopping. Not enough bag space. Thankfully they have started having more cashiers open than they did at first.

I love stopping in here because the staff is so friendly and helpful. It's definitely a gem on the outskirts of town that a lot of people overlook. Stop by and check it out!

I bought a Brita water pitcher, windshield wipers, a toaster, a tea kettle, and car stereo from here. All items sealed properly, but once unpacked, I found obvious signs of use or the item was missing parts. I would be especially weary of the deli. Sanitation is lacking! I found spoiled food set out to sale. Badly dented and/or crushed boxes of food still set out to sale. Lawn and garden equipment is left out in the elements being damaged by rain. Yet, this rusted antiquated equipment is still out for sale. Alas, for sale at full price as well. I found badly wilted and dying plants and flowers for sale. This Particular Wal-Mart is in poor shape too.

BEST IN TOWN chicken tenders / chicken strips…read more Sometimes the answer to fast food for dinner for us happens to be picking up chicken strips / tenders and potato wedges. That we always seem to do at the Marathon gas station on - I think it's Broadway St. I'm lousy at directions. It's the Marathon that's on the same road as Jerry's Jamestown Market and Bellisio Foods. But, just yesterday, we decided to pull into Main Express / the Sunoco station on Main Street. It was a stop for hubby's libations but he asked if I'd like to go in an grab a slice of pizza for a quick lunch. Good idea. Bad idea. Pizza slices had obviously been in the warming case for who knows how long. Pepperoni and cheese on that pizza was dark and shriveled. Quite disgusting. Sure I was a bit peckish but I wasn't THAT hungry. So I opted to try ONE of Main's chicken tenders / strips. Should have bought several. The chicken tender / strip was outstanding! Crispy, nicely seasoned batter surrounding an amazingly moist, good-sized slice of chicken breast. Totally surpasses chicken strips offered at the Marathon station. We'll be back.
