Here's my latest story: I called him about a broken dryer. It was throwing a code that would indicate a pretty expensive repair. But I told him how it happened and how it was acting, and he told me it was probably just a belt and that he'd be happy to fix it, but that I could probably do it myself. He was right and I did. He didn't have to do that and I would have been none the wiser if he had come out and fixed it. I just really appreciate people who treat their customers this way.

Whether that's a heart reading or dryer vent reading, both are potentially deadly. Dryer fires are the #1 cause of house fires today. From a convenience standpoint, blockages slow drying and leave clothes wet. I reached out to Ventbusters and off they went. We set up a time and they spent close to 2 hours removing all lint - they video the work so you can see before and after as well as what they took out! They also let me know there was an issue with the roof vent in our townhouse (and you really shouldn't vent to the roof unless you have to) which we will address. I cannot recommend them more and the flat rate option--so worth it and great peace of mind.

Sam was courteous and professional. He quickly identified the problem which required ordering a part. He provided an estimate for the repair and when the part would likely arrive. The part arrived late Friday and he came by 9am Saturday morning to install, put the washer back in its place, and ran it through a test mode. Worked perfectly! Total cost was $240 for part, labor, and service call. I felt that was very reasonable. I will use Midway Appliance again and will recommend them to my friends/family. I read another review that gave 1 star for a $50 charge for a service call, diagnostic, and removing the old appliance. In my opinion, that was a very reasonable charge for the provided service.

During this period, members of my household experienced skin irritation and breathing discomfort, which led us to investigate further and pursue repairs. The extent of the issue was not immediately apparent. When I raised concerns, communication was limited. The work appeared incomplete, and some equipment was left behind. Although I was told the entire system had been cleaned, the main trunk line did not appear to have been accessed. Management indicated that the issues would be addressed and mentioned possible refunds for service and replacement of some affected items, but these were not ultimately provided. I also requested proof of liability insurance, but it was not provided to me.
