Ok, so I wanted a veggie sub. The person who took my order told the guy sweeping to go and get this young lady. She was coming in the back door when he got to her. There was another customer there that placed an order. She came in with a big smile, went to the glove box, and put on gloves. I said to the other customer, "did you see that? She came in from outside and just put on gloves. Isn't she gonna wash her hands? "Excuse me" ... "Excuse me" and the other servers looked like a deer in headlights. I told the guy sweeping and he said take it up with her. So I asked again a little louder. Apparently, she was offended because they went into a huddle in the back and she never came back. When did cleanliness, something as simple as "wash your hands" get to be a cuss word. Food safety people, you're in the food prep business. You could have taken out the trash for all l know. WASH your HANDS! You should have seen the looks and jeers we got! That says to me that washing one's hands in this business is NOT a necessity. Yeah, we all probably have been up against the worst, but I would hope that if you eat there you didn't Know it. Owners - Training and observing execution is a must. Your company is only as good as the people you hire. read more

I love my Jersey Mike's on Eastgate Drive. I go every day for lunch. I just love the staff. I just had surgery on the 12th of December and all I can think about is a jersey steak sub. My honey and I went today. It was so nice to be greeted like I really counted and they really missed me coming everyday. In the business world your business is only as good as its employees. I love all the girls who treat me like gold who prepares my food with love and admiration for the old guy I am. I am so happy we have a good manager and we have good sandwich makers. Clean store. They do a nice job here. They are effective at order taking and manage all the modifications well. I happened to go here with out realizing it about 15 minutes before they were closing on a Sunday they were all cleaned up. Being in that industry it's always frustrating I talked with the gentleman and lady for a bit and asked if they minded they said they were happy to do it. Good training and the team cares. The food is good to place to go when I need a cheesesteak fix without driving to far. read more

This was my first time at a Jersey Mikes. The greeter was very enthusiastic. My grilled veggie wrap was delicious, but very messy. Had to grab a plate and fork. Not sure if that's the way it is supposed to be. I'll try a sub next time. read more

I needed to pick up some sandwiches for a business function by 10:30 AM and, at first, called a different sub shop only to be told "Yes, we're here at that time but we don't open for the public until 11." I then called Jersey Mike's (Whiskey Rd. Aiken) and placed the order only asking that the sandwiches be cut in quarters. When I arrived not only had ANGELA cut them in quarters, but wrapped them individually and put stickers on them so we would know what was inside! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I just left a few moments ago. When I finally made my order the staff member sliced up my order and someone else's. I ordered a regular and the other order was a giant. The worker placed the ticket on top of the bread of the giant sandwich and when I asked why is the ticket on the bread the guy putting the condiments on removed the ticket and placed it to the side. The guy cutting up the sandwich meat put it back on top of the bread. My first instinct was to leave. Then I asked for the spicy pepper spread and the guy scooped up some and poured it on the sandwich and rubbed the ladle in the mayo on the sandwich. Early on I asked was the bacon crisp and when I got up to the register I saw burnt sides and white humps on the bacon. The "nice job" must be dependant on what shift is working. I am a business owner and I see that there is more training needed and observation of how the employees are preparing the sandwiches. If it's OK to place the order ticket on the bread and rub the ladle on the sandwich into the mayo, what else did I not see that is not OK? read more

Bread was old and dry. Meat was sliced paper thin with very thin layers. The amount of oil they drown the sub in was stomach turning. Everything was bitter tasting. The drink carbonation and syrup ratio was wrong. Very expensive for what you got. I never ate mote flavorless food. Iordered the Italian and my girlfriend got the roast beef. My first time at Jersey Mike's, but it won't be the last. It's a little expensive, but I don't mind paying for food that takes me back home to South Jersey. The bread wasn't exactly what I'm used to on a traditional Philly cheesesteak, but it was easily overlooked, what with the delicious combination of meat, cheese, and onions. It was the second closest sandwich I've had in the south, next to sitting on Passyunk Avenue in Philly eating the real deal. read more

Ate here 3 times in 2 days, which clearly shows how I felt about my first time eating Jersey Mike's. It was so good and very filling. One full size sub is good for two meals. I loved the philly cheese steak. I just wish we had one of these Franchises down where I live. read more

Love the Cheesesteak. Ah-mazing! Service can run a little long since they are cooking your sub to order. Well worth it though, and definitely pricey but your getting a sub big enough to feed 2. Great place to eat and friendly employees. read more

store was dirty, i had to ask the employee helping me to change her gloves& clean the counters before serving me. Was given terrible service to match the food quality (or lack there of). Come to find out she was the store manager!!! honestly surprised theyve lasted so long in Aiken. read more
