Going on 25 minutes for a kids turkey and cheese sandwich. Instead of working on customers in the store, the general manager points to a bag with a big order that he has 4 employees working on. The past customers who've ordered before me have gone and left and I'm sitting here waiting for ONE kids sandwich that only has turkey and cheese. THAT'S IT. I honestly wouldn't come back here but for some strange reason my daughter really likes the sub. You would think the general manager would stop what he's doing to throw together a tiny kid sub but he didn't, just points to the bag. read more

All I gotta say about their new pepperoni pizza meatball sub is that it's like sex on a sandwich! It's hot, it's greasy and a little bit messy but you love it anyway! Lets start from the bottom.... THE BREAD: I honestly think the bread is the star of the show! The inside of it is garlicky and buttery! It's light and soft and really ties the whole sandwhich together. The Meatballs: The only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 is because of the meatballs. Pardon me if I'm asking too much out of a fast casual restaurant but I wanted them to be a little less like standard meatballs. I needed more flavor-Give me some herbs, give me some seasonings! They kinda come off as basic lunch cafeteria meatballs that were purchased from the frozen section at any local grocery store. The Sauce Cheese n Pepperoni: The marinara sauce made up for where the meatballs were lacking. It provided that saltiness so that when you bite into it, you get the texture of the meatball and the salty-tang from the rich sauce . The gigantic pepperoni definitely made up for the sad meatballs as well...although at times I did get bites that were almost too salty....not a deal breaker though. The cheese was was melty and added that ooey gooey factor that sealed it all toghether. Unless you like people watching you eat like a hog and devour it within minutes, I suggest eating this sandwhich alone lol. read more

Service was not the greatest, but if you order online and pickup the food it's a lot better. I only waited a few minutes and my order was complete. If you order at the counter it can be hit or miss depending on what time you arrive. As always the food is amazing, it speaks for itself, service could use a little work. read more

I will start with I love firehouse subs. Now I will never go back to this one. It was a disgusting sandwich and I threw most of it away. Old wilted lettuce nasty tomatoes and Turkey which makes me wonder if I'll be sick later. Avoid this place. Obviously management doesn't care enough to check on workers. Love firehouse. I usually get the steamer but recently they have been adding new selections. They have a rewards program and everytime I have been there the food is ready and steaming hot in minutes. If you can get the app or call ahead and order it to go you will not be disappointed. read more

Bottom line, this Firehouse location is complete trash. I don't blame any of the employees necessarily, but this location is totally mismanaged. I will not be returning to this location ever again after today. Below is why I won't come back. This Firehouse location is incredibly mismanaged and constantly understaffed. Today's visit will be the last time I patron this Firehouse location. Before today, my last two visits here resulted in waiting over 40min for my sandwich and the last time being told they are so short staffed that it would be at least 45mins before my order would be ready, so I opted to leave and get food elsewhere. Given my last two visits, today I decided to submit an online order to be picked up at 1:05 with the hopes of avoiding the long waits. I arrived at 1:20 (gave some extra time before I arrived. Again because of my last two visits) only to find out that that my order had not yet even been started on. I confirmed my order of two hook and ladders with the employee at the register and he assured me that they would start working on it right away. While waiting, I watched multiple people arrive after me, place in person orders and receive there orders while I still waited. (These we're not online orders). One of the attentive employees did seem to notice the exorbitant amount of time I had been waiting and asked me the name of my order and ensured me they were working on it. Finally, after 40min, they called me for my order only to find out it was the incorrect order and was actually someone else's with the same name that had called in a curbside pickup order. At this point I just asked for a refund, which evidently the manager couldn't do because I had used the online app to order. The manger then told me that someone with my same name must have taken my order to which I assured her that I was waiting there the entire time and there was no other person called with my name for an order. One of the other employees verified this information. The manger then assured me that my order would be done in 10mins which they made good on. At 2:10 I finally received my order that I placed online for a 1:05 pickup. The food was good which I why I gave 2 stars. It's just unfortunate that this location is so mismanaged. I would not recommend coming here unless you are willing to wait 40 plus minutes for your order which seems absolutely ridiculous for a sub sandwich place. read more

I love firehouse but this time I went I asked for light vinegar oil not to wet my bread and they didn't listen my bread was so wet I couldn't eat but I will go again because this doesn't always happen I only eat the Italian sub nothing else and it's always good I do recommend them because they do have great subs read more

I wish I could put a zero star. This was our third and last visit to this firehouse this year where the service was awful and the food was not good either. Today 12-17 at 630 pm they had no ice? No pickles? And no tea?! We of course weren't told until after we paid for our food. Our sandwich was wrong yet again even though there were only a few people present (I now know why.). The manager could've cared less and would not give me her managers name or number. And the cashier was on her cell phone the whole time. No wonder no one is hardly ever there and I won't be back either. Please pull the video if the general manager or owner actually cares about their business and reads these reviews. I'm in the green sweatshirt. Then they can see how many people like me were disappointed and had to keep coming back up to the counter to ask for service and supplies that weren't available. Food was good as always. I called in for my order to pick it up. I ordered the brisket and the hero sub with 2 brownies. When I was at the counter the total was about a little over $20. When I was about to pay the lady on the counter asked if we are interested in their cookies. My boyfriend then asked if we got the last 2 brownies they had. And the lady in the counter finally said ... oh, we no longer have brownies... wait let me take that off your total bill! So just a caution, make sure to double check what is being billed vs. what they have prepared. Money is tight right now so every dollar matters read more

Tea is good, I always get a steak and cheese. No mushrooms, no mustard, no saute. EXTRA MAYO! The one in N. Augusta used to know me by name. Knew when they saw me what I wanted. Never messed it up. I usually order from Firehouse about twice a month, ( $437 this year), but I now find I am enjoying the "Firehouse Sub experience" less and less, and today's order might be my last. The ingredient quality is great, I love the Online ordering, and the ability to add or subtract items from the sandwich, but that is where the problem occurs. I like oil and vinegar added to my sub, but as-of-late they have gotten in the habit of saturating the sandwich to the point that the bread is soggy and the meat slides out from between the bread. I have mentioned this to them before, but it still occurs. I ask for no pickle, but I always get one. That is not a big deal as I can throw it out, but why be wasteful? Today, I ordered my usual large Smoked Turkey sub which is supposed to contain Provolone cheese, but when I arrived home with my order, I discovered that it had melted sharp cheddar cheese instead. The cheddar overpowered the flavour of the sandwich and not in a good way. In today's world of hyper-allergies a random substitution of ingredients could cause an adverse reaction particularly since aged cheese, such as sharp cheddar, has a high histimine content. My impression is the staff just doesn't really think about the quality of each product. So it has come to either opening and inspecting each order before heading home...or just go across the street to Firehouse's competition. read more
