My wife and I stopped at Jimmy John's in Aiken, SC, this afternoon and since it was hot, we decided a sandwich from JJ's would be fine for dinner. For over $17.00 we got two regular sandwiches that were severely lacking in either tuna (mine) or turkey (the wife's). Great location with easy access and lots of parking. It is always very nice and clean inside. The employees are very friendly and helpful. This is the only place I have ever seen sandwiches that are picture perfect. (Look like advertisements.) We go here whenever we crave a sub/hoagie. Wish I could give a zero, but thats not an option. But I order on the website of Jimmy Jones for an order to be delivered to me, and their system declined my transaction with no reason as to why, when checking my bank information, there was a pending transaction of two $20 for a total of $40 coming out of my account for a $25 order, when calling the store they said they had no order for me and I would just have to wait until it cleared and they hoped it would within 24-48 hours, called the corp number and they were no help at all saying it should never cleared, tried to explain to him that I was ordering lunch and only had so much on that card and now I could not do anything cause the money was just setting out there. Simple said he was sorry but nothing they could do. I would not recommend then or never buy again, I will stick to Firehouse subs they are much better. read more

The staff are super friendly, the food is always good but today, something annoyed me a lot. I ordered a giant sub to split with my wife. All I asked was that the peppers that come with the sub wouldn't be on one side. They had to ring it up as two subs which made it cost a little more. They claimed, well it comes with it. I said well yeah but can't you just not put it on? I think it's odd you would have to pay more to get less of something. Tried Jimmy John's for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and greeted me when I entered. I ordered a sandwich and received it within a minute. Quick in and out service. The sandwich itself was good, but probably not the best in town. I liked the meat but have had better bread at other places. The selection of meats wasn't as large as other sandwich shops either, and the prices are a little higher. Overall, I'd give 5 stars for service and employees, and probably 3 stars for the sandwich and selection available. I'll round it out to 4 stars. I used to live on JJ's in college. Shoutout to those delivery guys who would bike my sandwiches over to the library. It was my first time to this location and it is immaculate. Everyone is friendly, I received greetings when I walked in and goodbyes when I left. My usual sandwich is the Club Lulu. I had my order in hand within seconds of paying. What a great deal too! $13 for a huge sandwich, chips a drink and the delicious triple chunk cookie! Delicious. Thanks for being awesome. Will be back soon. read more

This was my first and last trip to Jimmy Johns. When I first ordered my meal I thought it was a combo, but was quickly and rudely informed that all menu items were a la carte The rude lady behind the counter proclaimed that their prices were so good that there wasn't a need for combo pricing. Well for a sandwich and coke the price was around 7.25 which is the price for a combo meal at any other sub shop plus pickle and chips. The service is top notch. My sandwich was ready in about a minute but upon tasting it, I found it to be very bland tasting and the bread was rather chewy. The only thing this franchise has going for them is delivery. In closing if your want bland, tasteless food delivered quickly then Jimmy Johns is for you. read more

This was my first time to Jimmy Johns. I had heard good things. I ordered a sub and my husband a club. We couldn't get a warm sub and to be honest I wish I could have for my turkey and cheese warmed. When we opened them we really couldn't tell the difference between sub vs club. My sub was quite dry and drab. My husband says his was tasteless. Ouch. Most people we saw ordered their sandwiches and left, probably to go home and heat them. Service was superb and they were made fast. That is what gave then a 3 star. read more

Customer service A-1. Freshly baked bread right in front of you, all meat and toppings fresh , ready in less than three minutes. Clean and cool establishment offering outdoor seating with umbrellas if the customers prefer it. Greetings and smiles as soon as you walk through the door. Ordered the Italian sub and one chicken on their 7 grain bread with two pickles, bag of chips and a drink for 20$. Only downside is price too high but that's what you get if you want quality food and decent customer service which are both important to me. Slowest jimmy John's I've ever been to. Usually a very attentive chain but the staff here was not impressive at all. Great sandwiches at a great price. I love the authentic French bread, the bean sprouts and the fresh cucumbers. Don't know of any other place that has sprouts but I love them. It's true they have your order ready by the time you finish paying for it. I've never had a bad sandwich from them, and I can't pass by there without stopping! I ordered Jimmy Johns today from online and received it at my job. I was a previously AGM at a Jimmy Johns for four years in another state, so I'm familiar with how to order and what to expect. I had a pretty crappy day today and was crying at my desk about an hour prior to ordering. So, I decided to ask them to draw me a happy picture since I was having a sad day. They did a great job at not only doing that, they put in a coupon and a free cookie! EVEN MORE SO, the lady that delivered the sandwich was cheerful and smiley! It was a pleasure ordering from this location and having such wonderful customer service! It makes me miss my job but pleases me to know I have a great local Jimmy Johns here in Aiken! Thanks y'all! I have never felt compelled to write a restaurant review until now. My first experience with this restaurant included poor value, poor quality, and poor service. I ordered the J.J. Gargantuan. The only thing gargantuan about this sandwich is the price. You can get a sandwich twice the size at most other sub shops. The meat did not taste fresh, and there was sand or some kind of grit in with the lettuce. Finally, I asked for a bag for my sandwich and chips, and the counter person pointed to a stack of bags behind the counter. I'll stick with places I know have quality subs and service. We have looked forward to trying Jimmy John's from the time we first heard they were coming to Aiken. So after an afternoon of yard work and TV football for me, shopping by my wife, we decided to treat ourselves by having subs delivered from JJ's. We called in our order only to be told we live too far away for delivery. I live 1.9 miles from their front door. No amount of explaining how close we really do live made any difference - no delivery. And neither of the people I talked with would tell me their delivery radius. So all you folks in Kalmia Hill, Houndslake, Woodside, Gym Lakes, don't call Jimmy John's for freaky fast delivery. You live further away than I do. read more

Have a nice size order for them, yet it says we are outside of the delivery zone. 1.5 Miles away right by Daughtry and Murrah Ave by the mall, yet cannot get delivery, even though their corporate policy is that outside the zone is up to the owner and driver whether they will do it. It's not like it's a bad neighborhood, or that far really. Would be driver, your missing out on a good tip. And manager of this location is missing out on a good bit of money. read more

Beware. Orders are frequently inaccurate when delivered from their online service. If it's wrong, you stand no chance of getting your money back, let alone be treated with courtesy or respect. The Management of this location is not remotely interested in customer service, and does not care about your experience. I ordered a sandwich and when I called to let them know it was wrong....missing avocado spread...missing cheese....missing tomatoes....missing mustard.... (this was the third time.. in some months orders have been wrong) they sent another also incorrect. None of the toppings I paid extra for were on either sandwich. The staff made up a correct sandwich, took a photo, and sent it to the Manager to cover their tracks. Lol The Manager accused me of being dishonest regarding this transaction. WHO does that? I didn't think I needed to take pictures of my food. The Associate also was hostile, rude, and belligerent when I called about the order to start with. I was nice about it, and in the company of others in a public place so I certainly wasn't rude about it. I just wanted a turkey sandwich.
