They completely screwed up a straitforward order that I discovered after driving home and had to bring it back with receipt to the so called manage who went all street on me and his line order cook with pants magically suspended below his buttocks saying they were "disrespected" . Took best part of me to talk civially to them and I remi ded them that they messed up the order and made me return and slow walked the replacement burger. Very street, very ghetto, and the other customers wished me luck on getting mu order as they left. All 3 people behind the counter need to be fired and I will never set foot in that location ever again read more

I ordered on the mobile app, waited ten minutes, and went to Five Guys. The young lady at the register told me it would be 5 minutes when I told her I was there for my mobile order. I wait *literally* 20 minutes without my order being called. 10 minutes into the wait the app says "thank you for picking up your order", and I waited for another ten minutes after that and still nobody called my order out. I had to go up to the register and explain that I'd been waiting for 20 minutes and was wanting to know if they had my food or not. It turns out they did have my food the whole time, sitting off to the side getting Cold for at least the last 15 minutes. And the staff was never going to call my order, I had to ask about it a second time after waiting unnecessarily for twenty literal minutes in the store for no reason. The worst fast food experience I've had in a long time. The manager didn't even apologize. Sometimes restaurants get busy and mistakes occasionally happen, but the gravity of the mistake and the lackadaisical attitude about it by the staff made me feel totally neglected and uncared about as a paying customer. read more

I'm not that into burgers, I'm just not. But this place - whoa. I will say Yes! to Five Guys any time anyone suggests it (unless I'm dieting!) The location is clean and conveniently located in Evans off of Washington Road at a stoplight (this is important!). I have never walked in that I haven't been greeted by at least three of the staff members. They always get my order correct, the food is made in front of you, and therefore served hot and fresh. I like the soda machine that has the touch screen and almost endless flavor options (my kids love it, too!). The burger was fine but their fries are always undercooked in my opinion so I always ask for them to be well done and you never know if that's going to happen. This visit they came back undercooked so I took them back and ask them to please recook them crispy. They basically gave me a a small order back when I ordered a regular and they were still undercooked. At This point I would rather just get a refund then even bother to let them try again. Seems like the Grovetown location is the only one that gets it. It appears many people like soggy fries but no thanks. read more

My first bad experience was about a year ago and when the owner call me he was more concerned about protecting his business image with corporate. Now, my visit today begins with undercooked fries that were pale as a polar bear. I take them back and the fry guy gives me more and these were a little more cooked than the previous batch. Recently I went to Five Guys today at 7:02pm in Evans Ga. I place an order in the parking lot at $27.15. I didn't get an email from Five Guys but did get a receipt from my Paypal account stating Five Guys charged my card. I go in the store and ask if they received my order because I didn't get a confirmation. The manager comes out and calls the owner. The conclusion they come to is that I will have to pay for my food again and wait for the other funds to be refunded because they don't have it. I showed them the receipt from Paypal and they refused to believe me. I have gone to this store numerous times and ordered food from there for years. Absolutely amazing experience every time I come here. They recently added shakes to their menu! I took my 2year old daughter there for dinner last night and she absolutely loved it. The staff was super friendly and you could tell they actually enjoyed their jobs. The restaurant was very clean. In fact, when ever the young lady at the register wasn't ringing customer's orders in, she was cleaning! Sweeping the floors and wiping the drink machines. It was REALLY clean. Of course as always, the food was super delicious. I got a regular cheeseburger and my daughter got a grilled cheese. They were so good. We got fries and they were hot and so yummy.(They overflow the fries!) I also got a shake. Peanut butter-Oreo-Bacon. (It's called the BeardShake- follow Beardmeatsfood on YouTube for AMAZING food challenges and wholesome content) It was so freaking good. The peanut butter taste really knocked this shake out of the park. Next time I'll try a new flavor! The ONLY complaint I have is the price. First time here, and I have to admit... it's OK. The thing I like most about the place is the free peanuts. If I was broke, I'd feel compelled to walk in here and just eat peanuts all day. The other thing I like are their beverage dispensers, which are high-tech, touch screen wonders. The burgers were OK. Nothing special. I'm from California and I can tell you that this place is not even close to In-n-Out in terms of taste and uniqueness. In terms of pricing, Five Guys is not exactly cheap. I hate cooking. And putting things on a grill most of all. The grease, the heat and cleanup can be too much sometimes and when the hubby suggests, "burgers?" I jump at the chance to not assemble and guesstimate temperatures of meat. And it's not the west coast burger chain I'm used to but it's a different kind of "nom nom nom" that's just as good. There's nothing better than having gobs and gobs of options sometimes and spicing up my burger with fresh jalapenos and A1 definitely plays with my comfort zone a little. I love the generous portions of fresh cut fries they give you for practically the same price as the fast food chains down the street. Tonight's bag of treats filled with fries were so heavy, the bag ripped apart just as I got it home. Phew! Dining in sort of reminds of a nice cafeteria if you didn't think about all the peanut shells on the ground. I think they give you free peanuts to shell out and flick on the floor so you won't suffer from low blood sugar in the ridiculously long lunch lines. Oh yes, it get long but it's worth the wait for custom made burgers and freestyle Coke. If I had all the money in the world, I'd buy one of those amazing Coke machines and put it in every room of my ridiculously large farmhouse-they're just that cool. Fresh burgers cooked to order with a sign showing where the potatoes came from in the dinning area.Entered here lunch time after doing some shopping and always greeted friendly with the upsell smoothly put in the recap of my order. This food is when you really are hungry so I was not at that peak so just wanted a single " Little cheeseburger" with my usual extra pickles and onions. As I watched the grill person put my patty down she added a seasoning of salt and pepper then you have the bun person prep my bun with the rest of the goodies and loaded my extra pickles and onions just the way I love it. A friend of mine compares this place with In and Out Burgers on the west coast but I haven't tried them yet. If they are anything like Five guys I hope I'm in burger heaven as here. BLUF: Rude service and mediocre food as compared to other Five Guys restaurants. Short story: placed an order last month and the order was completely wrong. It was takeout, so I issued feedback online citing my experience. Very quickly I was called by a manager from the store to apologize and he told me to just ask for my order to be "remade" next time I ordered. Well, I did not order again until today (can you blame me - the poor food shyed me away). When I called to place my order I was told, rather rudely, that they have not record of what the last manager told me and could not help me. Really not impressed with this. The older I get, and the more disposable income I have these days, the more I appreciate good service for my dollars.
