I stopped by and placed an order. I have been here a few times before and want to say this restaurant does a great job. $$$ In addition to serving great food, they also offer a military discount. I'm glad they asked me because I had no idea.

If your thinking subway nope. Bread is better but not much choices to top your sub with. Very basic. When I got up to the front.. the person just starts talking but you can hear because several people are taking at the same time so she asked me if I wanted a hot sub, which I love, so i asked for my #9 and that one does not come hot.. whomp whomp. My wife order a hot one so I told her to move up and order her sandwich. I moved over to the counter and started ordering my sandwich. Choices to add is tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, mayo, jalapeños, vinegar, oil, bacon, 2 kinds of salsa and yellow peppers. My wife had the #16 the chicken philly. She LOVED it. Very flavorful and it's a hot sandwich. They offer chips and just like any other sandwich shop and cookies and severa drink options. I'd come back. Have to try a hot one next time. Update: came back for a HOT sandwich, the philly and OMG, pretty tasty!! I order mine plain (just the meat and cheese) and it is still flavorful. Bet with the veggies, taste better but I love that I can order it like that. I also tried one of their giant chocolate chip cookies... also good!! Very soft. My place for philly's!

I wanted lunch but did not have time to go out. I had nothing in the fridge that was speaking to me so I tried to nail down exactly what I had a taste for. I wanted something fresh and basic, so it hit me that I wanted a sandwich. Jersey Mike's is near my house so I placed my order on Yelp. So, I have had sandwiches from other national chains and if you don't add extra meat, basically all you have is a salad on a roll! I ordered the giant sandwich with the extra meat and I was floored when I opened it up. I could not believe how packed the sandwich was. If you want a sandwich that is not skimpy, this it the pick.

    Order it up here!!

Yo Mikey!!!!! So pumped you decided to come to EP! I've been waiting for you ever since meeting you in other cities. Okay so let's get to it. So this spot serves up all the great classic subs with fresh deli's and veggies, but I would implore you to go a little more exciting and grab one of their specialties. I typically go for the "Italian" and get it "giant" sized. This typically leaves me with enough for two or three meals, so it's great for those days you don't want to cook or will be busy. Going the exotic route, I'll stick with the "Big Khauna!" This sub is a lovely mixture of grilled onions, peppers, and steak meat. Just looking at the menu I'm salavating!! Oh and I almost forgot the "Mike's Way" option. This is basically a quick request to have them throw the typical veggies on your sub with the added "spices and juices" that makes Jersey Mike's stand out. If you're thinking, "what's the difference between this spot and others?" We'll let me tell ya! The best part, which is more than hang worth bragging about, is how they handle the bread. It's so fresh and fluffy and it stays that way throughout the making process. All the other spots the bread is all to often smashed and stale. Not here! To add to it all, their meats are fresh and opened when ordered. I even bet you could come in here and get a pound of their meats to take home if you wanted. Overall, I'm glad to see you open Mikey, as I've been eyeing you since your sign went up. Now I got my go-to-sub spot that I take "Mike's Way!!"

Can't wait for the New Jersey Mike's to open in El Paso, TX!!!

This is the The Newest Jersey Mike's In El Paso, TX!!! I love the sandwiches from here. Way better than Sub-crap and Jason's-duh-deli!!! You got to try it, drive over and pick up one, tell them I sent you!!! LOL

Receipt clearly reads sub pepperoni for ham.

Sometimes you just need something simple and delicious. I wrote about them a couple of times AND…read moregot them to come out for Tippin Elementary's Fall Festival where they promptly sold out. Let me tell you about these combos...and Mr. Combi. 7/17/21 After eating at higher end restaurants I realized I'm a simple-pleasures kinda girl. I like to talk to people as they're cooking and just the experience of getting to know people waiting in line for food. Food truck gatherings are my favorite places to get food from and El Paso has some of the best I've found anywhere in the world. The vendors take the best of the food truck scene here and add their own El Paso/Borderland friendliness reminiscent of outdoor markets I've gone to in China, Mexico, Vietnam, Taiwan, Peru, Thailand etc. The culture here is of generosity, they're proud of their food and they want to stuff your face with it. I found such a market here on the Westside tonight off Paseo Del Norte in the Brake Master lot. There was a flautas truck, Mr. Combi, who converted a VW Bus and drove it from Mexico City. His flautas (beef or potatoes) is super fresh, light, and crispy. The sauces are really good and clearly homemade. I got the beef and potatoes combo ($8) which comes with a soda. He also has one in a cup which he called a riff on Chico's tacos, the Chuco ($4), it had an amazing tomato based sauce that was out of this world. Definitely recommend this place and it was busy with people in line from Hawaii waiting to get their fix of El Paso food. Next to him was an elotes truck. I think they're called Elotes El Rey? And the sons were continuing the traditional corn on the cob and in a cup (esquites) that they learned from their dad. I didn't get to try but will do next time since a customer showed me his and it looked so good. Then there's the bacon hot dog stand, they have the hot dogs where you basically take a dog and add the whole enchilada, or kitchen sink. The owners are from Sonora and are as sweet as can be. It's crazy how much they actually fit inside the thing. You can customize it to how you like it. Definitely different from a Dodger dog, but delicious. It's $8 with a soda and chips for all that food. I can tell these trucks are a neighborhood favorite as families come over after shopping at Walmart and there's a ton of fast food around, but they represent their homemade local food well, so people find them and flock to them. They're also open super late and only gathers on Saturdays from 5pm-midnight. So for the ones looking for awesome food late at night on the Westside, this is the spot you. Come out and #supportlocal and oh I forgot they all do catering as well so you can hire them I guess for events. 7810 Paseo del Norte 7/24/21 Had to come back for their "Chuco style" flautas. They're addicting as heck! Here til 11pm tonight only.
