We eat at Jersey Mikes fairly frequently while travelling. Their gluten free roll beats all the competition. This is by far the best run Jersey Mikes we have visited. Its exceptional. I highly recommend! we were driving through and decided to stop. Although it is a chain this one was very respectful. I came with my family and my father is disabled and a veteran, we didn't even ask and they came around the counter to get his order and helped clean a table and move chairs so we could fit his wheelchair in. They also give an awesome military discount that they let us know about and we didn't know. The sandwiches were absolutely huge and delicious. It was clean and quiet and had some good music. My family went to this restaurant to eat lunch/dinner. We were very hungry. The store wasnt welcoming at all. 3 girls were in a circle laughing and talking rather then working. We ordered and gave them clear instructions on what we wanted. We waited for 15-20 minutes for our food. The young girl made us the wrong sandwhiches. Finally 15 minutes later she made the right sandwhiches for my brother and I. Finally 10 minutes later gave my mom her sandwhich and it was wrong. My mom took the sandwhich up there and a young blonde hair girl was incredibly rude and rolled her eyes. My mother waited another 15 minutes and got a sandwhich and it was again wrong and not what she ordered. The workers here then procede to talk to one another about us thinking we werent watching. My mom asked for wheat bread and they gave her white after the 3rd sandwhich. Incredibly rude workers and not very welcoming at all. We paid $71 for a horrible experience. read more

Still a little far for me to go too often but close enough that I will not have to endure any Jersey Mike withdrawl. Nice clean store and located in a shopping center with a lot of shopping options. When i went to the counter I ordered like a PRO~~~ and the man said HEY you have done this before!! We both laughed and I shared that I am a Jersey Club Member and a Jersey Mike fan!!! I love to order my subs MIKE'S WAY but with extra oil and vinegar! My husband and I stopped for a quick bite, we are on a road trip north to Michigan. What a tight little operation this is! Great food, friendly service and very clean store. The two young girls at the counter smiled and made conversation as one of them made our sandwich, while the young man towards the back was hard at work too. I have never seen such a clean fast food restaurant. Usually for "good" fast food you would give 4 stars, but this place I don't see where they could improve -- they're doing everything right. I love this place! (Maybe to much, they know what I eat when I go in)! It is a little more pricey than other sandwich shops in the valley but worth it. I didn't give 5 stars because although I love their food It's only great when certain employees are working. Sadly I can't remember their names to give them props for their great service. Food: Tasty subs with quality ingredients, especially the meats. The Italian was good, but I do want to try the Reuben next time. Naturally, I tend to compare this in my head: I feel like it is somewhere between Subway and Firehouse. I enjoy Firehouse a little bit more, and also like their hot sauce collection. For this area though, it is good to have a higher-quality sub place. Service: Very friendly, quick to interact, and competent. Price: Much like Firehouse or Penn Station, you're going to pay more than, say, at Subway. But it is certainly worth the improved quality. Atmosphere: Very clean and bright. My preference would generally be to get it to-go though. For me, maybe not quite as good as Firehouse, but the best place to get a sub in the Teays Valley area. read more

Jersey Mikes. Finally, a good sub place in the area. Best of the bunch: Penn Station-not very good, Subway-average, Panera-high priced and dried out, Firehouse- the worst! Jersey Mikes is not the cheapest of the sub joints but it seems to have the highest quality of ingredients. While Penn Station and Subway are in a race to the bottom with the cheapest products I don't mind paying a dollar or so more for quality food. Jersey Mikes should survive the high turn over plagued by the location. read more

I had meant to write this post a while ago, but better late than never since I got locked out of my old Yelp account. My family and I were traveling for thanksgiving on the 24th and we decided to stop by Jersey Mikes for some subs. As soon as my family walked in the door we were warmly greeted by Emma and had our order promptly taken by Brittney who worked extremely quickly and efficiently on our rather large and complicated order. Emma was making our philly cheesesteaks behind Brittney very quickly and these were definitely the best subs my family has ever had. Emma also cashed my family out and had phenomenal conversation skills, especially with my little ones which is hard to do sometimes seeing as my 7 year old has autism and he isn't typically fond of strangers. This was an overall awesome experience we will definitely be stopping back in on our way home. Emma and Brittney showed amazing people skills and I was especially impressed by Emma giving my family suggestions on her favorite subs and had a very good knowledge of the menu and operations of the store.
