There are days when food is great but there are many days where we get wrong order, or missing items we paid for. I called yesterday after we had stopped there to let them know one of our sandwiches had bacon that was so burnt it was black and crumbling and not edible. After paying almost $7 for a sandwich and this being a problem repeatedly I had enough of paying for food that couldn't be eaten. When I called the manager Bethany was kind and offered to replace it when we came back the next morning. When we went to get the replacement the women on the register Teresa was not only rude but then had the nerve to openly say I was using the system and that they shouldn't have to replace my food and went on to talk crap about me and my wife to coworkers who all chimed in. It's one thing to talk about a customer after they leave,which isn't right at all but to do it so everyone in the restaurant can hear you and the coworkers talk badly about you. I for one am getting sick of paying for food that's not edible. If someone came to my work and I didn't do my job I would have no right to be upset and would refund them or replace whatever I messed up on . Even after I moved and looked at him, he didn't acknowledge me or offer any apology. It left me feeling as though the action was dismissive, if not deliberately disrespectful. To be clear, the rest of the team did a good job and the food itself was up to Five Guys standards. But this one interaction left a negative impression on my visit.
