Not sure if they changed their recipes recently, but this was not the same sandwich experience I remember. Their bread is not a flavorful. The "salad" on top of the meat cheese isn't a wow factor anymore. I used to love getting a number five made Mike's way, on their original (white) bread. But yesterday that sandwich was a sad representation of the sandwich they used to made and serve. No signage telling where to order. We just walked up to the counter as there were three or four employees between the work station and the cash register. We placed our order and had to keep answering the same questions about what we wanted on our sandwich. They were not busy and we were the only ones placing an order. Then we had to ASK to have our sandwich cut. That used to be something they always did. When did that change? The dining area looked clean and has a few tables/booths. The usual surfer photos and such to make it look like the Jersey Shore. Unfortunately, my favorite sandwich shop is no longer my favorite. we came there around 5 o clock but we walked in and there was about 6 workers working the front counter. We walked in and the first thing one of them said to us was "can I get your order" in a very rude and snarky tone. We ordered everything and it seemed like they rolled their eyes when they were walking away. We waited and we talked to 5/6 workers that were working, and they were just plain out rude and snarky. I will We ordered two subs, a hot sub and a cold sub, the cold sub was done and they called us up to the front counter and we grabbed our cold sub and we needed to ask where the other sub was and we stood at the front counter for about 5 minutes and not one out of the six workers paid one mind to us u til we had to get their attention and when we did they were rude and they acted like it was a stupid question, we tipped to be nice but I honestly don't think they deserved a tip. read more

I give this place a 3.5/5 stars. The bread is dry most times unless you get a hot sub. Even when you say mikes way they still ask if you want the mikes way items on it still. They go light on the vinegar and oil so the sandwich stays dry. When I ordered the Smokey southwestern Philly cheese steak in store I got a good amount of meat to bread ratio but when I went back the next day and ordered the same item they gave me 35% less meat and gave me a regular Philly instead. Me and my two granddaughters come here alot, never had an issue until today, I ordered a philly cheese steak, they didn't even my sandwich in half, my granddaughter ordered an Italian with mayonnaise pickles lettuce and banana peppers, they put tomatoes on it. They were so rude and just not talkative, just stares at you, thy don't ask if you need anything else just brings you your food and tells you to have a nice day, we'll see how this goes. read more

My daughter and I came here about once a week and she had got the same thing for over a year, kids ham and cheese sub and a cookie. I was unaware that there were cookie sizes until I was belittled in front of the entire place for her grabbing the wrong one by the older lady working the opposite side of the counter. Her exact words were " unless you want to pay $2 extra and from the looks of you you don't." Why would I steal a cookie in front of the cashier for a child? An honest mistake that has been made for over a year with nobody telling he turned into me and my child being embarrassed. Went in to buy carry out again. No customers wearing masks. Some staff were, one was not and one wore below her nose (repeat offenders). Messed up my order and miss mask below her nose was mad at me for her mistake? I can put up with a lot but am done with this location. Too many unforced errors. read more

this place drives me insane. they close at 9 but if you come in at 8:30 they will give you the BIGGEST attitude even better they turn the lights off. horrible customer service. oh and a hot sandwich forget it even bigger attitude. if the workers don't want to work until 9 they can find other jobs. read more

Stopped in for a sandwich today. Commented that I was happy to see that the tv with Fox News was not on. Lady immediately reached for the remote and turned it on. I was a regular customer. Not anymore. If you continue to spew propaganda you have lost two regular customers. read more
