Call me an ignorant country guy, but I've never heard of this business before until I got a coupon in the mail. Decided to check them out, since they were nearby. I'm way impressed! For the price (even if I didn't have a coupon) you get not only a really great sandwich, but a BIG one at that. THAT is what I'm looking for. I got two sandwich meals, and both are impressive. I'll definitely be coming back. P.S. whoever was working the cash register today (it looked like they were rotating, which is also a sign of a healthy business with good customer service) give them a raise and some praise. I was even listening to the guy passionately demand information from other employees so as to get the next order correct. If there was a zero, I'd give it a zero. This was the dirtiest, nastiest Schlotzsky's I've ever been in. The employees could not even figure out how to take our order on the cash register. They were on the phone with someone trying to tell them how to do it and they still couldn't do it. We finally just left after 15 minutes. Most of the drinks were out and I can't even tell you how nasty the ice tea holders were, they looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time ! Don't go there!!!!! read more

This was the WORST experience ever at a Schlotzskys! The cashier who took out order had a major bad attitude when my husband ordered a calzone and she was like we don't calzones, so then he tried to order a pizza. She said we are out of those too. Wouldn't it be better to either say when we come in what you're out of or better yet have a sign that says we are out of pizza and calzones?! She copped a major attitude when he asked what do you have? She replied rolling her eyes we have sandwiches, soups and salads. We ordered our food and then we paid with a gift card which she couldn't get to work right and called the manager over while repeating that's she was done. We sat down and the food came out rather quickly, however my husbands bread was hard as a rock and had hardly any meat on it at all. For the prices there should be more meat than a thin slice! My sandwich was fine. I love Schlotzsky's and Florida no longer has them so we always seek them out when we leave the state however we will not be back to this particular location. read more

Been here twice in last month on the weekends. First time was on a Saturday morning 2 weeks ago, They opened late, service was slow and not very friendly. Like they hated their job and shouldn't be in customer service. The Cinnabon's. Tasted stale and were hard as a hockey puck on the edges. Went there today, to give another chance 4/13/2025 everything online says they open at 9. I was there at 9:45. Doors locked employee inside eating Burger King items at the table. Didn't say we will open soon didn't turn around when knocked at door nothing. Just sat there eating Burger King. Not going back. Now I understand why the other location went out of business. I love a good Cuban and brisket is always a good idea. This is why I keep coming back to Schlotzsky's. They combine the two and holy hell is it amazing. The Cuban Brisket Sandwich is a meat lovers dream. Its savory, (thanks to the meats) moist, (hello mustard) and crispy (pickles and cheddar jalapeño bun). This is quite possibly the most delicious sandwich I've had outside of Que Rico in Slidell. It's tender and on point every single time. Service is fast and friendly. Go! You're welcome. read more

This is my favorite sandwich spot in this area. Food is consistently fresh, delicious and service is fast and friendly. It's always clean, also. Presentation is always nice, nothing's ever just thrown together, it's all done right every time. There are tons of restaurant choices, but this one keeps me coming back. Some days I crave a Schlotzsky's sandwich and nothing else will do. Large menu, healthy choices, and I'd recommend this particular location to everyone! read more

This is an okay Schlotzsky's. I've been to both Schlotzsky's in Lafayette, and this is the "good" one actually. However, the workers at both Scholotsky's don't really care about being enthusiastic when taking your orders, they all seem tired or worn out for some reason. The bathrooms at this location are hideous and remind me of a disgusting truck stop, which is embarrassing for a "healthy" fast food place. But the sandwiches are usually really good, so there isn't too much to complain about. There isn't a drive-thru at this particular Schlotzsky's, but they still do take-out or call-in orders. They also sell other items, such as flatbread pizzas, salads, soups, pastas, etc. The sides for chips are chips. I just hate that the average combo at this place is around $9.00-$10.00, which is completely ridiculous for a sandwich place! read more

While in Lafayette for softball, we were SO EXCITED to see a Schlotzsky's on Pinhook since our local one closed a while back. We were warmly welcomed by the sweetest African American woman! She opened the door for us, greeted us with a blessing and asked my daughter about her softball game. She even threw in a little life lesson about bouncing back from a loss.
