This use to be a Hollywood Video. I'm pretty sure that's what this building was when I was in High School. It's so weird seeing the landscape of places you once lived and how they have changed. That being said this is one of the nicer Jersey Mike's locations, and placing an online order was easy and was done perfectly. Pick up is down by the register and someone made sure I got the right order. I always appreciate a personal touch from a staff member. Also, don't sleep on the tuna. It was actually very tasty. This is the 3rd time I've had a sub from Jersey Mikes but the first from this location. Last year I attended a party that was catered by Jersey Mikes and i was impressed. Hubby and I stop by this new location before Xmas shopping. I ordered the Medium Italian Sub on Rosemary bread. I substituted the ham meat for turkey without any problem. My husband enjoyed the Tuna Sub. You can load up on all the complimentary veggies you choose. The sandwiches were fresh and hardy. we were very satisfied and pleased. I appreciate that as soon as you walk in there is sanitizer on a table for public use and plenty of napkins and utensils as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. They work hard to keep the customer flow moving for social distancing. What i really love is that Jersey Mikes Donates Millions of dollars every year to food banks across the country to FEEDING AMERICA. Way to go!!! Very proud to support this local business!! read more

I've heard about how good Mike's is for the last decade, so I decided to finally check it out. With Subway across the street these guys had to really bring it, and they honestly did. The workers were nice, explaining everything to me and giving me recommendations on what to order. I picked a Big Kahuna Chicken. They make everything fresh and it stayed hot on the way back home (something the local Subway fails to do). And the sandwich tasted great, packed to the brim with fillings and flavors. Only bad part is the price, 17 bucks for a full sub. Pretty expensive when Subway can do it for 10-12 bucks. 17 bucks nearly made this 4 stars, but it was good enough to just get to 5. I like to preface this review by saying it is not stars in the realm of sandwich shops such as subway blimpie etc and not necessarily 5 stars in general, although the sandwich's are good. The he customer service here is always fantastic and the guys working here ALWAYS go out of their way to adhere to high standards while making my wife's sandwiches (she has celiac). They change their gloves , they clean the area prior and as far as I can tell there is no cross contamination etc. so if you have celiac this is a great choice for a sandwich. How does Subway stay in business? They show photos of subs stuffed with meat and fillings and when you order you see only bread. If I could give it a 0- I would. Jersey mikes has become a staple of our weekly meals. Dare I say, sometimes as many as 3 times a week when things get busy. This store recently opened and we've had nothing but good experiences with the various employees who work there. Actually two months ago I reached out to corporate to tell them of my positive interactions with the employees/ one of the managers there. Unfortunately, It seems that perhaps management has changed and Today, was a vastly different story. It was fairly busy during lunch time and they had only two people working so it took some time--no complaint there. I proceeded to wait about 15+ minutes and a navy vet with a cane came in and I let him go ahead of me as he seemed a bit unstable. The man behind the counter (Manager ANTHONY) had trouble hearing him and was quite rude and rather than than trying assist him and said "I don't know what you want me to make you" and he's making all sorts of gestures at him while the old man pointed and clearly stated what he wanted (strike one-- treat vets with respect). Next, he asked me my order, I told him what I wanted. One of the sandwiches was the giant Mushroom and Swiss and my wife and I have gained a liking of putting procutini on it as well (we've gotten it numerous times). The man stated I will not put cold cuts on the grill or on a mushroom sandwich. I was like "are you kidding?" He's like "nope, I'm not making that sandwich" I said " I get it all the time and it's never been an issue-- I realize I have to pay extra and have no problem with it." He proceeds to tell me, "well I'm the manager and we don't do that here, tell me who makes you those sandwiches and I'll speak with them." I said "listen man, I don't know (not throwing good people under the bus) I said I just waited 15 mins and you're not going to make me the sandwich (at a sandwich place). He said Nope, I will not. I impolitely dismissed him and he told me not to come back. Numerous others heard him and left as well. You lost a loyal customer. It's a real shame because I really enjoy the food and the employees. Never disappoints. The roast beef sandwich is a killer. In today's market, we have a fair amount of sandwich establishments. Some are good, some are unique, and some are subpar. Jersey Mikes is always consistent. The sandwich and taste never change. However, the sandwich may be slightly higher than other sandwich establishments. You're paying for excellent service and quality meats. I highly recommend, and for good measure - throwing a chocolate chip cookie in the mix. read more

I went into this Jersey Mike's, because my son had advised that he had a sandwich at one of his school functions, and it was amazing. Needless to say the sandwich was ok. I'm not sure if the lettuce being wilted was a result of us going at 8:30. But bigger than that I would rate the service a 1 star. the female manager on duty that night was very short and abrupt while taking my order. There was no smile and for this to be a first time that I tried this establishment, she was not welcoming at all. Jersey Mike's alone has been my go to for sandwiches for a while now.... but the new location in Ronkonkoma is going to be my regular spot from now on, I don't care how far I have to drive to get there. The manager, Brian, was more than accommodating. All the employees were courteous, and well trained. The restaurant was very clean, and everyone looked like they were having a great time!
