Good place, average.... Needs to have some more options for spicey on the Sammie's. Service was good, quick, the place was clean.

We were excited to try this new location at the Ball park . We went here on Saturday night. They…read morewere pretty busy but we got seated right away . I ordered the Halibut fish n chips & vanilla Diet Coke . My husband got the chili burger & onion rings . It took forever for our food to arrive . We started to notice that people that had came in after us were getting their food before us . We asked our waiter & he said he would find out where our food was at. Finally after waiting 45 minutes they brought out our food but forgot the onion rings . They brought those out after a few minutes. The food was hot & fresh . The fish was crisp & flakey it was delicious. The fries were good & the fry sauce is amazing. The chili burger was good it came with 2 patties . The chili is spicy & flavorful with lots of cheese . The onion rings were good the onions are thick & the breading is crunchy. This order of onion rings is on the smaller side. They did offer a 15% off discount since our food took so long . The prices are kinda high but the food is good .

Hires is a Salt Lake City staple-I remember going to the drive in with my mom growing up and…read moregetting a giant hamburger and fries. It makes sense that a place like this would be brought into Downtown Daybreak. It's brand new, and they are still working on some finishing touches. Like, signage, for example. Everything looks pretty temporary and still being finished. I also noticed that there was no music, which, paired with the lack of decor, made things feel a little sterile. The food was good-just what you'd expect from Hires. I ordered the chicken fingers and fries and ended up with so much food leftover that I had a whole separate meal later. Portion sizes are generous! I look forward to seeing how they settle in and get comfortable.

It's 715 am and I had a craving for a Jumbo Jack... it's been a very long time but I want what I…read morewant to I went through the drive through and ordered the number 1 combo, regular fries. I asked first if they serve burgers in the morning... they said yes so here we are. The fries were hot, fresh and great. The burger was fresh, the lettuce and tomato were fresh, the beef was fresh and the burger was good. Glad I got it. My craving was satisfied. The person helping were very helpful and nice.

It was tasty, but it was warm to the touch. The cheese wasn't even melted. I also got the order with seasoned curly fries and I'd say 50%. We're edible the rest we're hard and crunchy and my teeth felt like they were shattering... after fishing around for the soft curly fries. I just gave up and just finished my fruit punch drink just to wash everything down and get the heck out of there.. Service 2/5 there was no urgency in this establishment. I was waiting for help and one of the servers there came to me and I greeted them and they pointed at the screen in front of me indicating that it's a screen self-serving kiosk and then walked away... so I had to sit there and try to figure out a computer when they could've kindly assisted me and placed an order in a timely matter.. if you don't like your job, just quit it Ambience 4/5 everything was very clean. The tables were very clean first glance I think other than that I didn't really enjoy it that much. The cleanliness was the only thing that stood out the most.. the menu looked very delicious, but for my first introduction to Jack in the box, this was pretty crappy..
