It's difficult to keep reviewing JM's. The menu is the same accross the board. What's important is the service. JM is good always good service. The staff here is friendly and makes your food quickly. JM cookies and still fire at this location and most importantly is BACONnnnn! They have some of the best I've hard from a fast serve place. I like some of there original meats. My husband and I order from Jersey Mike's Subs probably at least once a week. This evening we ordered a Giant Original Italian Sub on rosemary parmesan bread instead of white bread, and also asked for extra banana peppers to be added. Their Original Italian Sub is supposed to come with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, pepperoni, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, oregano, and salt. What we received was absolutely pathetic!! It was missing HALF the meat, it had no onions on it, no banana peppers on it, no vinegar on it, no oregano on it, no salt on it, and an extremely small amount of olive oil on it. We paid $18.04 for one sub, and it was mostly bread. I called back to let them know our disappointment in what we received, and the girl told me that I could call back the next day and ask to speak to a manager. She didn't bother to apologize or ask if we wanted a new sub, nothing. We're starting to think that Subway would be better, and that's just sad!! read more

I returned since my initial review to test their rendition of a Philly Cheese Steak. Remarkably similar to what you would find in South Philly / Jersey. Nice roll, packed with shaved, seasoned beef, fresh grilled cherry peppers, onion and tomatoes. Went yesterday to try them out and compare them to the Jersey subs I grew up on. Not bad at all but a bit pricey. Definitely check out the list of specials before you order. They have 3 sizes of most of the subs (and the kinds and contents are listed on their website): mini, regular, and giant. Giant works great to share for 2 hungry people. Although hubby got part of my share..guess he was extra hungry. :) The special is a specific (different kind Mon. thru Fri. ) regular size sub, chips, and a drink for $6.99. On Sat. and Sunday you can pick whatever kind of regular size sub you want. Anyway, unlike any sub shop or grocery store here in FL that I've been to BUT very like the sub shops in Jersey, the meat and cheese is cut right in front of you for your sub so it does not get much fresher than that. As for drinks, they not only have a soda dispenser with the regulars, they also have fresh brewed sweetened and unsweetened Luzianne iced tea...what a nice thing for me to find!! :) Service was good although hubby did have to ask to have our table cleaned before we ate and it was not busy so no excuse for not keeping up with stuff like that. My only issue with this place compared to others is that since moving to Florida and having subs made on different breads, I am hooked on Publix's multi-grain rolls. This is another chain sub shop, but the subs were really good. Not as many choices for toppings as other shops, but the flavor was definitely there. I wasn't a fan of the screaming music... not loud, but sounded like someone screaming instead of singing. The location is easy to get to in the Miracle Mile Plaza. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was very happy when Jersey Mike's came to Vero Beach, finally a decent cheese steak. However, I have a horrible aversion to onions and peppers, I always make it very crystal clear, I need my Cheesesteak with absolutly NO onion at all, not a oh well it is only a few, or even 1 small piece, I STRESS my food MUST be kept away from the onions. Today I picked up 2 large Cheesesteaks, mine was great until i got to the end of the first half when I bit into a piece of onion, causing me to vomit all over our dining room table. NOT A JOKE NOT AN EXAGERATION!! Not only when I ordered did I make it impossible for them not to understand I could have NO onions near my food, but I verified it before I paid 27 bucks for 2 cheesesteaks at the store, I asked did you make 100% sure there were no onions on my steak, and I was assured there were not. All this means is the kid that made my food simply did not pay attention to what he was doing, it was not as though he added onions he did not, he did, allow an onion to somehow get into my food. Needless to say our Football and Cheesesteak dinner was ruined, my wife very angry at my expulsion ruining her dinner and mine as well. I called to let them know what happened I did not ask for a replacement because I could not bring back the one I had just vomited on, and I would not expectr them tpo replace it otherwise. OK. If you read my reviews you know my take on sub places in Florida. Well I finally found one that I like. Now I might be a bit prejudice because I live a short distance from the original Jersey Mikes in PT Pleasant but I still have a taste for these even in Florida. Look it's not to say there aren't other good sub shops around and when I find them you will know so stop yelling at your computer screen that I don't know what I'm talking about. Also the bread is different from a Jersey sub. For some reason most sub rolls here are very light and airy. We are "use to" dense and crusty but no matter. They have a great variety and they put enough meat in it so you're not just eating bread. Very fresh due to volume I assume as it was busy when we discovered it. This Jersey Mike's location is simply never consistent sometimes you stop in and the sandwiches are delicious. Hot off the grill, the cheese melted through, the grilled onions still hot and the bun warm. Times like tonight the sandwich is absolutely cold, the cheese not even slightly melted, the meat is dry as though it has been sitting for sometime and the roll is not even warm. The most disturbing came when the man was mopping the floor out by the tables, walked over to the grill tended to whatever, back to mop and back to the grill to finish the sandwiches all without ever washing his hands!! It seems like occasionally you get a great sandwich and others you don't even want to eat it and say "self don't ever come back here" but for some reason you do. The definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over and getting the same result so I must be safe because once in a while they are just the way they should be. If you want to crap shoot on $30 for a couple of sandwiches go for it, if it is the end of the evening watch who is mopping and if he washes his hands!! This is a strip mall chain sub shop. Nothing above average but the food is always good . I have only ordered the Philly cheese steak from here and have always been pleased with the meal. For a fast and good cheese steak it's my go to place. Not great for large groups because the seating is sparse and the eating area tends to get loud but overall a great fast and easy lunch. read more

Great staff for the most part! They make excellent sandwiches! The shop however, is very unhygienic. It is dirty and a bit messy. Really need to focus on that since FIRST IMPRESSIONS are important!
