This is a great place to stop for lunch. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. If I could give half stars I would give this place a 4.5, but I can't, so a four has to be it. The flavor of the food was really good. My husband had the Moab, which he said was delicious. My mom had the Reuben, which she said was good, but lacking the dressing, or at least enough of it to taste. My dad and I both had the Cuban. We both agreed that the flavor was good. I loved the bread, however mine was very cold in the middle, like the meat had just been taken out of the fridge. My dad's was heated through, but warm, not hot. One of my sons got a burger that was supposed to be cooked medium well, but was very pink on the inside, more on the medium to medium rare side than medium well. The other's burger was cooked through as you would expect medium well to be. We ordered 4 shakes, which all turned out well except the maple bacon one. It didn't have much flavor and the bacon ended up being in large chunks all at the bottom of the shake. It was these minor inconsistencies that landed the 4 star rating. All of these are things that could be easily fixed in the kitchen with a little more attention to detail and spot checking. I would definitely come back though. read more

This is a great little sandwich shop hidden away in a small strip mall. You could easily miss it, but would regret not stopping. We arrived at opening at 11 am, and within 30 minutes practically every table was filled. Our server quickly brought our drinks while we perused the menu. There is a nice variety from which to choose, and I settled on the Italian panini with chips. I am starting to get a complex, as everywhere we have eaten lately others get their food before us, even when ordering after us. Just had the greatest lunch at Sandwich Shack & Grill! My hubby had the double burger with bacon, which he has added to his top 10! I had the Chicjen Caesar wrap with crispy chicken and a side of sweet potato fries. Delicious! Wrap was two large sections and all ingredients were evenly included. Strawberry milkshake was awesome -- very strawberry! Our server was Jesse D. She was super sweet, attentive , and friendly. Anyway, my husband ordered a cheeseburger and fries. They were out of fries. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and onion rings. The burger was ok but, the chicken sandwich was hard as a rock as was the bottom bun. The onion rings were soggy and mushy. For $35.00, I was expecting more. Beautiful day on the Indian River in Sebastian. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the breeze!! Start with the homemade French Onion soup, yum!! The salads sounded delicious, though we choose to go with the daily special Autumn Chicken salad with a Cuke salad side and the Shack fav The FOAP with onion rings!! I never thought of putting spaghetti in a wrap, yet it was so delicious. Especially in a 10x10 space. It's not that busy where it takes that long to get a drink for someone, and they aren't very friendly at all. The servers have no personality. I love going to sandwich shack on any day for just about any occasion! The servers are always very kind and very quick, but also very thorough! I usually get the 1/2 tuna melt with a side of lobster bisque with a sweet tea as my choice of drink; Its absolutely satisfying. Occasionally, ill get the mozzarella sticks as an app and the cheese is so stringy and delicious! Ive never had a bad experience here and it's definitely one my favorite places for lunch time. If you're in the area I definitely would recommend checking this place out. Its not always super busy but even when it is, its small so its not to loud. Friendly greeting upon entering which is always nice. It's not a fancy place, but neat and clean. My husband ordered the Philly Cheese Steak as it came highly recommended. It was delicious, the best he had ever had were his words. Wonderfully crisp and tasty Onion Rings were a great choice. I ordered the Rueben Sandwich and it was very tasty. Just the right amount of meat to sauerkraut ratio, came with a very tasty homemade Potato Salad. Our waitress was very helpful and told us that everything is made from scratch.
