Love this BBQ place. It's a triple winner with views of the water, delicious BBQ, and the most knowledgeable staff. A go to for us is the chopped chicken thighs. Always delicious! I'm more of a change it up person so I go between the chicken, brisket, sausage, ribs and pulled pork. They have the best collard greens and coleslaw. My go to this summer has been the potato salad. The brisket tacos are delicious as well. For those of you who complain it's not cooked in BBQ sauce, they offer 5 types of made on sight BBQ sauce. Take your pick or mix them up to create your own like I do. By personal experience, when your pulled pork or chicken is cooked in sauce it comes from a can and not on site smoked. Delicious!!! Amazing sides and sandwiches. Great, friendly service ( that means a lot). Order at the counter and you can eat on outdoor patio or take to go. Plenty of parking. We ordered porkzilla sandwich. Bacon, pulled pork and sausage. Also ordered the Alamo. Beef brisket with pepper jack cheese, jalapeño and bourbon sauce. FINALLY!!! We finally found good BBQ in our area. Like really good. Like this is so good that those who didn't love this place, obviously has not had real BBQ. I'm talking like Texas gold. The brisket was melt in your mouth. And if you are moist/fatter side person, this side really takes the smoke flavor and turns it into a treat. So good. The beans and collards were very good as well. I think next time I get a pound of brisket and no sides. Actually, next time it will be the ribs for sure. The pulled pork was moist and delish. And their bun was the perfect vehicle to get that pork into my mouth. Did you know they make their own sauces. The bourbon one was awesome. The sweet KC type was a great balance. I really like this place. The food has been very consistent and service is quick as it is mostly a steam table. Staff is always friendly and it is always clean. My take away is that the menu's prices change and are not consistent and business seems slow o matter the day or time. They are owned y the same guy who owns squid lips restaurants across the street. I just had to try it. The ribs were thin and wrapped in plastic and tinfoil. The Corn bread was dry and didn't taste good. Its way overpriced. My smoking skills are much better than this place and I'm not that good. They have lots of sauces to try and add flavor to their meats. There isn't really one saving grace for this place. My husband enjoyed the tenderness of the brisket but I thought it was tasteless and needed a lot of sauce. By far, the worst macaroni and cheese I've ever had. It' was very mushy with poor quality cheese and way too salty. Our 17 month old granddaughter loves mac and cheese, she literally picked it up and placed it in the far container while in her high chair to move it out of the way. Tried Lip Lickers in Sebastian for the first time today for a early dinner. Had the pulled pork that came out of a cafeteria steam tray, dried out and tasteless. For one side selected the mac and Cheese, it was mostly cheese sauce with little elbow pasta. My advise do not waste your money. I will not go back. read more
