I walked into my friends house and put my stuff down. On his bar I noticed a stack of buy one get one coupons for Jersey Mike's. I was given a random gift card for Jersey Mike's from my sister in law a few weeks earlier and was excited to give it a try. Upon arrival, I ordered a sandwich that had chicken and bacon on it. Instead of the ranch I asked if I could have my sandwich with mayo instead. It was a very good sandwich. The person who was taking our order and preparing the food was very chill and patient. Altogether this was a very nice experience. We took the food to go. A couple of hours later I ate it and it hit the spot. This was a good experience. I must say this was not good whatsoever. We also tried another sandwich from a competitor and they blew this place out of the water. Recently came for lunch. It can be a hit or miss during lunch time as far as crowds and wait, but during my visit I was lucky enough to be the only one. I love how the cut the deli meat and cheese to order. I ordered the #9 club supreme. It was delicious. Roast beef, turkey, Swiss, bacon; of course Mikes way with the must have pepper relish! Pretty okay food, not the best prices. I don't usually like giving less than 5 stars but I had to for this place. It was my first time here and I wasn't aware of their prices. They up charge for what feels like everything. I got a mini tuna sandwich (which was $6) and then they charged me $0.75 for cheese and probably even more for the extra meat. I wouldn't have been as upset about the pricing if they had it on their menu that it's an up charge and I would have been prepared before ordering. Maybe they did, but I didn't see it. Now that I'm done complaining, I will say that the sandwich itself was good. The employees were very nice, too. I appreciated that the gentleman told me about the up charge, even if I wasn't happy to hear it. I was too hungry to not give away my money. They worked hard to make the sandwiches and were kind. I placed a mobile order today so I could have a quick and easy process without waiting. However, I found out my order was made wrong. I requested rosemary Parmesan bread, but they put it on white. I returned to the store to have it remade, but they told me they were out of rosemary Parmesan. So if you were out of what I ordered why wouldn't you call me to let me know? His response was it's basicslly the same thing so just assumed it would be ok. So he made up his mind and made the sandwich however he wanted instead of letting me know. Offered me no refund or help and just walked away from me. I wish I got his name, but it was a fairly larger guy who really didn't seem like he wanted to be there. Unfortunately I won't be returning here ever again and I will have to contact someone else to let them know about this issue. *My pregnant wife really wanted Jersey mikes and here's what we got" I ordered Jersey Mikes today through their app (not DoorDash or anything, the Jersey Mikes app). When our driver showed up, I was handed my food and noticed the bag was light. As the driver walked away, I opened the bag because of the lightweight and noticed only one sand which was delivered, which unfortunately was mine and not my wife's. I called the driver back and he was super nice, told him the mistake and he asked me to call Jersey Mikes to see what happened. When I called, I explained the issue and was handed off to a manager. The Manager didn't even hear me out, just asked if I wanted a refund.... No dude it's my pregnant wife, she wants her food. When I said we would like our order fulfilled, he told me that we would have to come pick it up. Excuse me? The convo was on speaker the entire time while I was still with the delivery driver and he felt so bad how the manager spoke to me that he would go get the sand which and bring it to me FOR FREE. It's costing this man valuable time he's dedicated to making money delivering food, and the Jersey mike manager offered nothing in terms of making up for their mistake. This place is clearly run by crap management in terms of how the treat "drivers" and customers who's orders they've messed up. Won't be ordering from this place again based off that. First off, I want to preface this by saying that wife and I are typically huge fans of the food and service of Jersey Mike's. However, this one location was an exception. Wife and I, along with a friend, were starving one evening and we showed up to this location for some food, 10 minutes before closing time. We obviously knew we were coming in super late and close to closing time but we figured we would get our order and grab our food to go asap. Upon walking it, the two employees greeted us with a look of pale dread as they were counting their money tills before closing in hopes of leaving early. When we inquired as to if they were already closed (which, by the sign on the front, they were not) they mentioned they were "not technically closed" but they were closing up shop. My wife felt sorry for them in a way and asked if it was okay if we can still place an order to go... their look of despair continued and they said they could but they had packed up all the food and were ready to go home, to which my wife replied that if they wanted us to just not order, then we would leave. They became more enthusiastic about that response and we promptly left. Feeling hungry and disappointed, we went to the Firehouse Subs in the same plaza (which we also enjoy) anticipating the same thing as it was also their closing time (with about 5 minutes left to spare). Instead of being greeted at the door like we were at Jersey Mike's, we were enthusiastically greeted and thanked for coming in, our orders were taken and we were treated with absolutely amazing service. And we were not the only one's there, as there was another customer ahead of us that had placed their order and actually sat down to eat and was being tended to by one of the employees every few minutes to make sure everything was okay. We took our food to go and were thanked again for stopping by and welcomed to come back. I would not have ever posted a review or mentioned anything on any site about this evening; however, the clear juxtaposition displayed between the two sub shops where one valued customer service and business over the other was jarring. This happened about a month ago and wife, friends, and myself, have stuck going to Firehouse Subs over Jersey Mike's for the quality of customer Service alone. read more

I'll never be back, and I'll tell you why. First my sub was ok at best. Service was fast but awkward. I will never be back, reason being? Well I have this thing about overly confident and cocky businesses. Once and a while an employee and sometimes even the owners find out it is my first time at their establishment and they inevitably all seal their fate with the same cocky statement, "You will be back." I intentionally will never revisit an establishment even if it was the best I've ever had. Ironically enough, almost every time I am told this, "You'll be back," comment, the food is forgettable. Huge fan of Jersey Mikes! I was so happy when they opened this location so close to my house. My family probably eats here once or twice a week. We come for the fresh bread, sliced right in front of you meats, and the super friendly staff. They recognize us and often know what my kids are going to order. Amazingly, I don't have a regular thing I always order because there are so many good options. I love the cheese steak, the chicken Philly, the club sub, the Reuben, and the turkey sub. Jersey mikes is my "go to" sub shop. A few things erk me about this location... 1- tomatoes sliced seem old (they have a ton sliced ahead and on display). Either too many sliced ahead or they are over ripe old tomatoes. And 2- stop trying to strike up a conversation with me like we are best friends. I am there to get food, so make my sub and give it to me. It is obvious the staff bends over backwards to strike up conversation and it's awkward !!! Update: got a message stating they would put more attention to freshness of tomatoes. Returned to store today and tomatoes once again soft, looked about 3 days old (sliced 3 days ago). I've been working in restaurants all my life and I know old tomatoes. So I asked for fresh tomatoes then another crew member came over and said "what you don't like old tomatoes?" Are you kidding me? Why can't you guys slice what you need for each shift or day so you don't have carry over crap produce the next day? When you're paying $8 for a sub, I expect fresh produce people. The store should ensure that customers are wearing a mask. On Sunday 1/31/21 there was a family in line without a mask and they were allowed to remain, while others had on mask. I eat here about once a week because it's close to my work. The whole crew knows me and remembers my order. They are super friendly and they always ask about my day and about work. Some of them I believe might be in high school still, but all of them are extremely professional and I can tell they have great teamwork!! This place feels like "home" in a city I haven't quite gotten used to yet. The food is always fresh and delicious. The veggie options HONESTLY taste like they did when I used to have my own garden. The meat is such great quality, I even eat it while pregnant! My husband once got the philly cheese steak (he got his with light onions) and I tried it--amazingly delicious! Never been disappointed here! Definitely my "go to" place--even when I'm traveling! Love this company and I think they will be going far!
