I could not leave the parking lot good enough to drop and get write my review. This is my second visit. I'm from miami I'm visiting the parks as a childless gold season holder; therefore I plan to visit a lot. This is my second visit at Jason's Deli and I must say it is an absolute 10/10 experience even this second time around. Sharra was absolutely 100% attentive and helpful. Not only are the sandwiches ( I haven't yet tried anything else) but the customer service is absolutely 100% roo tier. When my order was a bit complicated ( due to my 4 hour drive back to miami) Sharra made sure to replay my demands to the chef who had no problem accommodating me. I did not get his name but it was the young man on Shara's shift with the dread locks, medium build about 23 years of Age looking. Nonetheless, I want to say thank you Jason's for always being so extra welcoming and attentive. I do want to say that the first visit was with a causacian woman. With the short court who seemed to be the manager. She wasn't as talkative or welcoming. However. I would just count her out and still say my experience at Jason's is a 10/10. Especially this visit!! I've been in dozens of time and they never disappoint. From the soup and sandwiches to salad bar, everything is FRESH and wonderful.

Here's an honest opinion. I love a good sub and I've heard this place was the best around from several different Tampa natives so I gave them a try to see for myself today Sunday at lunch time. They weren't bust at all found a park quickly and so this is just my sole opinion but I found this to be okay at best but no where near what I've been told! In fact, Publix and even Wawa have way better subs that are much cheaper and better sized and proportioned. The very first thing I noticed was just how long it took them to prepare the 2 subs from the time paid. There was another customer that actually complained about them moving at the speed of turtle and she tuned and look at me and said, "If I knew this was gonna take forever I wouldn't have even came here in the first place." I just politely smiled and nodded my head in agreement. It took them exactly 23 minutes to make and bag my 2 toasted sub roll, corned beef, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onions with mayonnaise to go. The young lady who took my order wasn't overly helpful or friendly either. It was my first time there and it will be last not because of the long wait or customer service(That's normal in Tampa) but my bigger issue was with the quality and size of the subs! The meat and cheese portions were okay but the meat itself was bland taste and not what you would expect for corned beef it's hard to explain but it was really plain and maybe closer to ham taste. They didn't use enough mayo or add enough onions or pickles either. These sandwiches were not worth $30.00 and they even ask you to tip when you checkout which I'm glad I didn't. Me and my buddy wasted our money he wasn't happy with his "plain ass overpriced sub" either. My friends wanted salad, so we stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon around 1:00 pm. The place was mobbed, and only had one person taking orders at the register, so the line was from the counter to the door. Finally a manager-looking person opened a second register, and it went quicker from there. We snagged a booth, put our order number on the table, and headed to the salad bar. The salad bar had a nice variety of items, and was well stocked. Because I ordered the "Manager's Special", I got a side salad plate to go with my half a Reuben sandwich, but that was plenty of salad. The half of a sandwich arrived quickly, and was really good. Things I did not love about Jason's: too long to order, the place was incredibly LOUD, with screaming children and crying babies as far as the ear could hear, the potato chips that came with my sandwich were all broken into tiny pieces, the ice cream in the machine was a melty blob, and the muffins that looked like chocolate were actually gingerbread, and terrible, so don't be fooled. This is a treat that rates between 4 and 5 stars, but the complementary ice cream puts it at the upper level. The restaurant has one of the few salad bars still operating. And they do a great job on the options they stock keeping them filled and clean. Their sandwiches are really good. So many options to choose from. Look at how much meat they double load onto their sandwiches in my photo. Breads are always fresh. My last visit took a little longer than expected but they are usually pretty quick. You walk in and order at the counter. Then go make your drinks and grab your salad bar if you ordered one. Then sit down at your choice of tables with the number plate they give you. They bring your food out and clean it up for you too. Remember to leave a $1 or $2 for that extra service! And my favorite part of all. The free waffle cone with your choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream! My last visit the machine was struggling with making enough product but still was able to get a couple free cones before leaving happy. They have other options besides their famous deli sandwiches too. Whenever I go to Busch Gardens this is my choice for a meal before or after. read more

The avocado toast presented in the picture looked like a normal looking avocado toast. What we got was a smeared green amount that looked like the amount of butter you would put on toast. I tried to review them and got over it bc I couldn't find a way on Uber Eats. I decided to call the store to give some feedback about it. I don't feel like the amount paid reflected what was received. The store manager said she was sorry I didn't feel it was the correct amount but it was. And to my comment that it looks nothing g like the picture she said, it's always gonna look like there's more there because those are digital pictures. Not much of a sandwich eater, but I did enjoy their beef eater sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. It even came with au jus. I highly recommend the sandwich and a little side of chicken noodle soup. Their service was quick and friendly. If you're dining, you even have an opportunity to enjoy a free ice cream cone. Jason's Deli has a large selection of items on their menu to cater to all taste buds. I like that they are open early so I can place orders ahead of time for lunch. I ordered through UberEats for 8 people and I didn't break the bank. Accuracy of the order I received was on point. I customized a half soup half sandwich on a muffaletta for myself. Well, it's been a while since I've been back to Jason's Deli. Today I ordered a Reuben sandwich with no thousand island dressing and a side salad. With a drink it came to about $24! Salad bar was just great! Really enjoyed it. The Ruben sandwich was ok. The bread was not fresh. The corned beef was good but not great. The sauerkraut was fresh enough, but not very crunchy so I have a feeling it may have been sitting out a bit. Also my sandwich was served without a pickle spear. I'll give them points for making it the way I ordered it aside from the addition of the chips I didn't want, which it came loaded with. I will most likely come back because of the salad bar. But I don't see myself eating here on a regular basis. read more

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the experience I had at Jason's Deli was unacceptable. The employees were not only unprofessional but downright rude. From the moment I walked in, it was clear they had no interest in providing even basic courtesy to their customers. Instead of being greeted with a smile or even a simple "hello," I was met with dismissive attitudes and short, snappy responses as if I was inconveniencing them just by ordering food. Hospitality and respect should be the foundation of any restaurant, but clearly this location has forgotten that. If the staff here can't treat paying customers with decency, why should anyone choose to spend their money at Jason's Deli? This was a door dash order. I've been here before, and the food was great. I'm not sure what happened last night, but it's definitely unacceptable. 1. The bag was sealed, but not the soda. COVID, is still present. Why not deal the drinks? Smh 2. When I opened the food, the sandwich was small and didn't look anything like the photo on door dash for their website. Poor presentation, no mayonnaise as stated. I don't eat bacon, but the piece they did have it on was so small and a very tiny piece of tomato slide. Unbelievable! 3. The cheese was so stale. Gross! 4. The soup had a very long piece of hair in it. So that means they aren't wearing hair nets, when preparing the food. Refreshing! Yeah this place is definitely a great spot to stop in for a salad bar, soups and sandwiches. Came in for the salad but ended up trying the Club Royale also hmmm something tasty I tell you that. As you can see from the pictures it's plenty of seating and you don't have to feel like your under someone. I enjoyed it all here oh and don't forget to try the sold serving ice cream yum *parking was easy and if you need to stop in and grab any groceries Winn Dixie is in the same plaza with other stores. I love lunch food, especially when there is a salad bar. I've been going to Jason's Deli for years and as I was walking in on my most recent visit, I wondered aloud if COVID had killed the salad bar option. I was pleased to see that not only had Jason's figured out how to make it safe, but I felt very at ease eating inside. The staff was hyper-critical on social distancing and sanitization. Gone is the all you can eat salad bar. Instead, it's a single trip only. And you must wear gloves when handling the utensils. I ordered the half Italian Po Boy to accompany my salad. To be honest, the sandwich was small, but I over compensated at the salad bar and it all equaled out. There are many lunch time options in the area. When comparing dollar for dollar, the half sandwich with the one trip salad bar at Jason's Deli can't be beat. The food is good. The service is quick. Overall **** The very uninspired name doesn't really serve the place well as it is much more interesting then the name suggests. Inside it feels like a higher end deli, the menu is varied enough to satisfy most and the sandwiches are very good at a reasonable price. Inside it is much bigger than expected with a lot of seating, long service counter and even a salad bar. It seemed very clean and organized, one minor gripe is the overhead menu board is too small and crowded to read with anything less than 20/20 vision. They do have paper menus for the rest of us. Service *** Not a lot of interaction, counter girl basically did her job without adding any value. Food **** I ordered the ""Italian Cruz" to go and there was a lot to nitpick here. I might question the use of a baked ham on an Italian hero, the way all the meats were shoved into the fold of the bread and the toppings on the open side so you got all toppings in one bite and all meat in another. Additionally there was an absolutely insane amount of Italian dressing. With all that being said what is most important is how did it taste and in that regard it definitely succeeded. It appeared to me that they toast the whole sandwich so it was slightly warm and crispy and I couldn't resist shoving it in my mouth it was so good. The sandwiches come with a small bag of Ruffles and a very small individually wrapped pickle. I feel like they could probably do better than that though. *Regarding the salad bar, the large assortment of toppings all looked fresh. I didn't see any protein options outside of a hard boiled egg but maybe you can get grilled chicken separately. I was excited to see their tasty menu (Tampa location) and looking forward to orders for the future. Today, however, I was craving a grilled cheese as was my coworker. Imagine our disappointment when we open our package to discover a "toasted" cheese. Not the same at all! Both sides of the bread were toasted and then the slice of cheese (not monterey and cheddar either as advertised). Either change your website to offer "toasted cheese" or spread some butter on it and put it on a grill if you are going to advertise the sale of "grilled cheese." The tomato basil soup was tasty but lukewarm as the bowls are not conducive to transporting warm liquid. May I suggest: This has actually been my usual haunting ground for years dating back to my college years. Even today, their Spinach Veggie Wrap paired with broccoli cheese soup is still one of my absolute favorite vegetarian meals of all time. I believe they make THE BEST broccoli cheese soup around. Overall I do love the food there, but part of the exciting part is the free ice cream at the end (especially for my 3 year old who thinks the rule there is free ice cream if you eat all of your food) so it's a little disappointing when the last two times we went they have had issues. The last time we went, the ice cream machine was not at the correct temperature so you couldn't get any ice cream at all. Today (we just left), only the vanilla side works. Overall, the food is good. The service is what's lacking. There were 6 or more working the kitchen, but at the time of my arrival, there was only one person working the register. There were 8 of us in line. This may seem petty, but this was at the height of the noon lunch crowd. They finally added a second person on the register, but only after the line was almost out the door. I ordered a small bowl of Irish potato soup, but they were out of it.
