Oven roasted turkey on muffaletta
Jennifer J.

Jason's Deli has a large selection of items on their menu to cater to all taste buds. I like that they are open early so I can place orders ahead of time for lunch. I ordered through UberEats for 8 people and I didn't break the bank. Accuracy of the order I received was on point. I customized a half soup half sandwich on a muffaletta for myself. A quarter sandwich was more than generous for my hungry appetite. The bread was fresh and the sandwich wasn't over dressed. I would definitively order from Jason's Deli again.

I was craving a baked potato and they have some of the best with delicious toppings. The Texas style spud has chopped bbq beef in bbq sauce with cheddar cheese and butter. It is delicious and two meals for me. It's counter service. You order and they will bring the food to you at a table. They also have excellent salad bar options.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the experience I had at Jason's Deli was unacceptable. The employees were not only unprofessional but downright rude. From the moment I walked in, it was clear they had no interest in providing even basic courtesy to their customers. Instead of being greeted with a smile or even a simple "hello," I was met with dismissive attitudes and short, snappy responses as if I was inconveniencing them just by ordering food. Hospitality and respect should be the foundation of any restaurant, but clearly this location has forgotten that. If the staff here can't treat paying customers with decency, why should anyone choose to spend their money at Jason's Deli? There are too many other restaurants that value customer service to waste time here.

That was a cup of delicious Irish Potato Soup hiding in the top right corner of the photo.

Stopped by Jason's Deli in search of a corned beef sandwich. I found it!! Lean corned beef piled high, marble rye bread and crispy kosher pickles. Perfect! Friendly and helpful staff.

1/2 turkey muffaletta. very good, but DRY

had 1/2 turkey muffaletta. very good, however, it was DRY. It definitely needed much more olive salad juice. I've had them in many other states and this was the dryest of all. It would be a 5 star review, if they could put some of the olive salad oil on the bread!

This was a door dash order. I've been here before, and the food was great. I'm not sure what happened last night, but it's definitely unacceptable. 1. The bag was sealed, but not the soda. COVID, is still present. Why not deal the drinks? Smh 2. When I opened the food, the sandwich was small and didn't look anything like the photo on door dash for their website. Poor presentation, no mayonnaise as stated. I don't eat bacon, but the piece they did have it on was so small and a very tiny piece of tomato slide. Unbelievable! 3. The cheese was so stale. Gross! 4. The soup had a very long piece of hair in it. So that means they aren't wearing hair nets, when preparing the food. I was very upset, and even though door dash gave me my money back, it didn't make me feel pleasant that I wasn't able to eat what I ordered. In the past, I have this location a 5. I don't know what happened, but it's definitely not a 5 now. :-(

Refreshing! Yeah this place is definitely a great spot to stop in for a salad bar, soups and sandwiches. Came in for the salad but ended up trying the Club Royale also hmmm something tasty I tell you that. As you can see from the pictures it's plenty of seating and you don't have to feel like your under someone. I enjoyed it all here oh and don't forget to try the sold serving ice cream yum *parking was easy and if you need to stop in and grab any groceries Winn Dixie is in the same plaza with other stores. Enjoy I sure did

Can we talk about the cheese room? it's one of the largest in Florida and also my favorite place…read moreever! They have over 300 artisanal, imported and domestic cheeses, I find something new every time I go! The ambiance is what makes it special to locals, it feels like stepping into a traditional Italian market and it's hard to find elsewhere in Tampa. Definitely a staple for St. Pete! The market is almost always busy, so go right when they open or later in the afternoon on weekdays or you'll be standing shoulder to shoulder and wait 15 to 30 minutes, but honestly that time is perfect for browsing everything! My go to orders are the Mortadella Pistachio and the Fig & Pig. They are $12 each, and yes a bit pricey but the freshness and quality make it worth it.

Wow! What a fun place to check out. There's ample parking. A lot of photo ops outside, some picnic…read moretables. So much bustle. So many people. You walk in and Theres a check out area. A fresh produce, meat, fish, sausage, pickled olives, section. You walk further down and Theres the grab and go food section. Then to the left you have wine and cheese. You go further in, and Theres a fancy cheese section. Unfortunately they don't give small amounts of cheeses and cut it for you. But you can buy some really good cheeses here. Then you go back to the very narrow hallway, and Theres a ton of coffee on the left. I just got into coffee and am a coffee snob. I noticed there was a "greasy" looking bean. Which just means it's well past its freshness. The price of bean actually isnt that bad. And they offer a lot of varieties. We bought two, Guatemala and organic Mexico. I wanted to try it out before writing this review. The Guatemala one was light, faint. The Mexico was a bit deeper flavor. I would recommend to management to better advertise the coffee bean so the product moves and stays fresh, or maybe move it to a different section where people can feel comfortable getting it. It gets so crowded in the hallway. I would leave the hallway was a grab and go area. You keep walking down and you have the coffee shop to the right, and a small bread stand to the left. Of course we got coffee. Theres a small area of seating to get coffee for there. Theres a big roaster to give the appearance that they roast their own coffee but I believe it's just for decoration. Fiancé got a cappuccino. It was okay. He normally doesn't get coffee with too much milk but the waitress said there was 3 shots of espresso in there. I would say it didn't taste like 3 shots. It taste like coffee with 90% milk. And it should be told to customers that a cappuccino there is more milk with coffee. I got the con panno. Which is espresso with whipped cream. I'm not sure if the whip cream they use is fresh, or if it's super sweetened, but my coffee was sweet. It was thick which I like but I didn't like whatever sweetener they used. But I'd probably order a macchiato if I ever came back so I could taste the coffee. On the other side of the coffee shop is the sandwiches and prepared food that you order. Sandwiches are HUGE. Fiancé had the #1 with all the fixings. It was nice but if you don't like soggy sandwiches, you can ask for no veggies. Which we would do next time. I had the 7, no sun-dried tomatoes and no veggies. It was so good. The mozzerella was very fresh! If you walk past that you have the dried cured meat, and down a hallway to the right you'll find dried pasta and fresh pasta. The fresh pasta looked so good. I wished we lived in the area so I could try. You head back the other way and pass the outdoor seating and Theres also a place for you to check out you grocery/sandwiches. Right next to that section you have the pantry area of canned fish, pickled things, olive oil. Then Theres the bread and pastry area. We only had time to see these and no time to see what other stores they had or walk around. But I'd definitely come back to check those out.

You walk in and it's like a transformed gas station into kind of a deli, kind of a convenience store, and kind of a restaurant. Super duper weird. The menu has a ton of stuff on it. I was feeling like getting some food from my people so thought I'd try this German spot. Up first was the #3 Reuben for $13.95. I love me a good Reuben. However, this is not the place to get a Reuben. Super thin, barely any meat or flavor. It is mostly eating bread. Avoid. Up next, I can't remember what the other sandwich was, but it was bad. I think it was a Cuban, but not sure. It was straight bread. Take a look at the pic. Now, the only above average food item I tried was the German potato salad. I would come back here only for that. I've been a loyal customer of Frankie's Deli since they opened. I typically order the chicken salad…read moreor a sandwich, and I also place large catering orders for my customers because they genuinely enjoy the food. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.
