Gyro Pita - Tomato, Onion, Tzatzki Sauce

You can never go wrong with a good Gyro. The Hungry Greek is my go to spot, the food is always fresh, portions are generous and the service is fast. I usually order to go and they have several locations throughout the Tampa Bay Area.

The Greek salad here is unreal! The portions are huge and delicious. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning!

Does this look like an order of $3.99 for fries!!!!!

I have been a hugry greek customer since they first open in WC across from the hospital. Will always bring family and friends because the is always on point but two days ago i order sides of fries and i paid $3.99 for eqch side and they barely gave me 20 fries per order. A RIP OFF!!!!!

Today was the first time we ordered take out from this location. We've had their food before at a party and it was good . Our order today however was missing the Tzaziki sauce so the pita and our entrees basically sucked ! That's poor service for a newer place . We will not be ordering from this location again. In the pic below is a dry salad (no dressing !!!) , dry rice pilaf , and beef that was fatty . :(

Food is on point just like the other location in Tampa, very clean place, and extremely great customer service.

The restaurant stays clean as you always see employees sweeping, wiping off tables, and taking out the trash. The food is fresh and made to order. There is a good menu selection and meets most dietary needs. They offer wheat pita and can customize menu selections. My favorite is the Greek chop salad with beef skewer. They offer diced beets, which ups the flavor of the salad. I also highly recommend the Avgolemono soup! It's a lemon chicken broth with rice and a great comfort food. They have also brought back the traditional Greek dolmades with beef and rice. Get these while you can as I've seen them disappear from the menu, and I don't know of any other "fast food " Greek restaurants locally that sell them. Overall, this is my favorite "fast food" restaurant in the area for its delicious, fresh food and wonderful customer service. Next time you're in, ring the bell for a job well done and hear them yell "OPA!"

After I finished my deliveries, I swung back, and she delivered !! she promised the best Long Island iced tea, and she didn't just meet expectations, she knocked it out of the park. Beyond the drink, Kendra was an outstanding host friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. For food, I ordered a burger, fries, and a cheeseburger, and they were off the chain. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection, making the whole experience that much better. Kendra and this location deserve kudos. We were starving one night and couldn't find any restaurants that were open late. We stumbled…read moreacross this place on the way back to our hotel. The restaurant was clean and there's an outdoor area to smoke hookah as well. Our server was so sweet and we absolutely adored her! The food did take a while on the wait but the portions were pretty huge for the prices. We had the following: Appetizer sampler (hummus, tirosalata, tzatziki, and baba ghanouj. served with fresh pita) - 8/10 - this was so fresh and delicious! All the dips were made fresh and covered in olive oil. The pita was baked fresh and went so well with the dips! The sizes of the dips were massive and we had plenty to take back to our hotel. It took me back to Greece and it made me super happy. I love eggplant and the baba ghanouj was smokey, creamy, and so much eggplant flavor. There was a dip that I haven't tried yet called tirosalata and it's made with feta cheese and garlic and topped with oregano and olive oil. That was probably my second favorite dip next to to the baba ghanouj. It was tangy and enjoyable on the palate. The hummus and tzatziki dips were also hits and we enjoyed every single bite. We had some leftover and the sweet waitress gave us some extra fresh pita bread to take home. Castoria chicken salad - 8/10 - my friend had this and really enjoyed it. It had lettuce, jalapeno, grilled chicken, cucumber, tomato, onion, and avocado in a garlic aioli dressing topped with cheese and pita chips. She said it was one of the better salads she's had and was super fresh. the portion size was huge and she had plenty to take back to enjoy later. I tried some of her salad and I agree, it was delicious. Greek Souvalki wrap - 7/10 - my husband had this with the Greek fries and he seemed to like it. It was good, but he said he's had better ones. The pork tenderloin was tender and flavorful and he enjoyed the fries (had feta cheese on them). The fries were fried perfectly, golden brown with a satisfying crunch to them. The feta cheese crumbles on top were an excellent addition to the hot fries as it melted onto them. Overall, we would come back again if we're in the area. The prices were pretty decent for the portion sizes. The only slight complaint was that the food took a while and we were getting tired as it was getting pretty late. Nonetheless, even though it's a chain, the food was decent and good.
