Tried it again a year later and yep...Still trash! Don't pay the extra $3 for "extra meat" its a scam! Stale bread, no meat, LOTS of old lettuce & onions though. They should start posting ratings for the sandwich makers so we know when to avoid ordering! I'll be making my own subs from now on. read more

All three of us ordered the Prime Rib. When we received our meals the Prime Ribs were cold. I sent mine back to be cooked more but it was barely warm when I got it back. I couldn't eat it. The Prime Ribs were $16.00 dollars each. What a waste. I'm not going back there again. read more

I stopped in for carry-out tonight and had a good experience. I ordered an Italian and it was delicious. Big sandwich with plenty of meat. The 3 people behind the counter were all friendly. Jersey Mike's gets sandwiches! They emulate the Grinder sandwiches found in North East. They start with a fresh yet crunchy roll and then slice the type of meat you ordered. The meat is sliced fresh for every sandwich! It's delicious!! But a little expensive. Though worth the price. I always get the Italian and love the sheer volume of meat. My thoughts are these are among the best I've had. They're 4-Star good. read more

I've always had a good experience, both eating in and calling in for a pick up time to get a hot sandwich.

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was practically dying of hunger so I popped in. The definition of a hole-in-the-wall. I got the regular original italian and wow... there are no words. A classic "sub" done right. Soft bread, juicy "meat", stuffed with all the essentials (the juice, shredded lettuce, tomato, and onion). There's about a million options available between the menu board and the special, so it can get a little overwheleming, but you really can't go wrong. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed. read more

Subs are not worth the calories. Prices are average. If you get a turkey sandwich, DO NOT expect flavor. They will give you bread, lettuce, and turkey. No flavor on top of the three foods with almost no natural flavor. They can't even throw some salt on it and then they have the nerve to charge you for it. It's like chewable air. On top of the chewable air, you will break your tooth on their hard ass bread. I want my money back. read more

When first walking into Jersey Mike's (at 2:00 in the afternoon) my mother and I were greeted by a sandwich maker who seemed a little annoyed when we said we didn't know what we wanted yet because it was our first time in. (As a side note, this would have been a great opportunity to suggest a sandwich, or tell us what the most popular one is!) After I placed my order, my cup was taken off of the stack of upside down cups, turned right side up, and handed to me by the cashier. He stuck is fingers in the cup to hold it out to me. This is a huge pet peeve of mine especially after someone handles money. I then turned my attention to the guy making my mother's sandwich. I noticed that instead of making your sandwich on the paper it will be wrapped in, they make your sandwich on a cutting board. When the sandwich gets picked up to wrap it, lettuce falls off onto the cutting board. That's fine, because it looked like there was a small receptacle on the counter to sweep the fallen vegetables into. Instead of doing what I thought he would, the guy swept the lettuce into a pile and then put it back into the container with the lettuce that had yet to be put on a sandwich. When we sat down to eat, we realized that the floor was dirty, tabletops were not cleaned, and the soda (both of the flavors that we had) did not taste very good. As for the food, the bread was very fresh (soft, not dried out) and tasted pretty good. The roast beef was tasteless, and the meatballs were nothing to write home about. (I should also mention that if you order a meatball sub you won't be asked if you want any vegetables on it, so unless you mention that when you order it you'll get no other toppings.) All in all, for about $10 a person (for a medium sub, chips, and soda) I expected much more than I received. This is not an establishment I plan on frequenting. read more

My first time at West Bend Jersey Mike's. My sub was made wrong and had no flavor at all. The bread was dry and stale. My husband had a Big Kahuna and he said his was very tasty. The staff was nice but disorganized and they seemed very rushed. By the time I left, I felt frazzled and just wanted to get out of there. Doubt that I'll go back. read more

Whitewater's best choice for a real sub... If you order a cold cut, Jersey Mikes slices it fresh in front of you heck, the roast beef is freshly cooked on site. They even make Philly cheesesteaks grilled up fresh. Try the Club Supreme, Big Kahuna Cheesesteak, or the Chicken Parm. The crew is also friendly. Sure the dining area could be cleaner but, keep in mind that it's a fast food joint-they usually have Sports Center on and good music playing. Not too shabby... read more

Tried going to jersey mikes at 8:32pm on a Thursday, online and hourss clearly state they are open for business till 9. However when tried to open door it was locked and the workers inside stared and then continued to giggle to them selves because they closed early and knew that they did and what they did was unprofessional. Ive lived in Whitewater since before jersey mikes opened up here. Ive been a big fan of jersey mikes for years now but I honestly just have to say that the management and the staff that work here are frankly terrible. Multiple times when I go to eat here at night its closed early. Actually its the whole reason I'm writing this review now; decided to close at 8:10, about a full hour before the actual close time. Additionally, the store looked pretty cleaned up already so id imagine that whoever was in charge probably closed about an hour and a half early. Why open a franchise business if you are going to consistently stop doing business early? Typically when this happens staff leave a sign on the door saying that they ran out of bread. I understand that this would be an issue, but this has literally happened to me about three times over the course of 6 months, seems a little odd to me that they wouldn't have this figured out by now. Local students usually work here and I've had some pretty good experiences when they are actually open, but I've also had some really poor customer service as well. Some refuse to smile and honestly just seem so unhappy that they are at work in the first place. I don't know whats up with the local Jersey Mikes but as someone with a background in both retail management as well as restaurant ownership something here needs to change and it probably needs to start with whoever is in charge. Went there for lunch. The food was good and HOT when I got back to work. In fact I had to open the Big Kahuna and let it cool down.

I'm a little surprised by the negative reviews. I've been there over a dozen times throughout the year and have never had an issue with the quality of food or employees. I'm also a fan of Jimmy John's, but prefer the Mike's sandwich. That said, it does take longer for a Mike's sandwich to be prepared than JJ, so you should expect a wait during the lunch rush. read more

It seems to be really hit-or-miss depending on the employee that's working, both in terms of service and actual food quality. Sometimes you get someone who's really nice and actually takes care in what they're doing... Sometimes you get someone who seems annoyed that you walked in the door and throws the sandwich together so it's a mess. I think their roast beef is amazing though and the bacon is "fresh"-made and crispy, unlike other sub shops. read more

All of the people who work here have always been super friendly and have a great sense of humor. Never had any cold subs but their hot subs are amazing! I love their Philly Cheese Steak and the Chicken Parmesan, take one bite and you can tell it's made with high quality ingredients. It's cheaper than the subs at subway down the road and tastes better too. Drinks taste fine though they are almost always out of iced tea. Definitely would recommend trying it! read more

I don't get the appeal of this place. Maybe I haven't found their specialty, but I don't get the impression that the employees are going to give me a hint. I had the Philly Cheese Steak, figuring that seemed like the choice. It really just made me miss Steak Escape in the mall... And that's probably not a compliment if I think about it. The food is good and the people are better. Yes, maybe a little slower than Jimmy John's but it's worth it. Much better sandwich IMO. I go here at least 2x a month and have never been disappointed. And damn near impossible to spend more at Jersey Mike's than the golden burrito place next door, better known as Qdoba. If you have never been to a JM's (like I hadn't before Whitewater) and want a suggestion just ask! They'll be glad to help! read more
