The regular sandwich has been reduced in size - while the price was increased. Disappointing. I know - I have had a hundred of these over the last ten years. The flavors are great, toppings are fresh, now - it's just really hard to justify a small sandwich and a few bites for $8.50. Add a drink & chips and you are almost to $13. Ridiculous that this spot only has two, now three Yelp reviews. This review applies to every JM I have been to, not just this location. Jersey Mike's is what every franchise qsr operation should strive to be. Every one I have patronized runs like a well oiled machine. Sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients, with a hot flat top grill and/or deli meat slicers in action, and the staff are well trained and on top of it. Anyone who chooses Subway over Jersey Mike's ought to have their heads examined. Why? I have a cheesesteak habit, and when I order (or used to order) one from Subway, they would throw the meat and cheese into a microwave and throw it on a bun, and presto. All their deli meat is also pre sliced btw... Then they have the audacity to charge a premium for it. In fact it is about the same price as my order from Jersey Mike's which is very specific with add ons and deletions, and always comes out consistently excellent with all instructions followed. And this is fresh grilled meat and a good amount more than on a Subway cheesesteak. Not super authentic but who gives a shit? This is my go to for the old cheesesteak habit. read more

Back in 2014 I managed this this Jersey Mike's Subs for a long time (one year managed, 6 years working as an employee) and I would've been upset if I had experienced this behavior with my employees: I called at 8:43pm on the dot... (now I know what everyone is thinking, they close at 9:00 pm). And I asked if I can order a sub. Now I get it... as an employee, you have already cleaned things up, etc. And in your mind, the store is closed for the night; HOWEVER: what time DOES jersey mikes close? 8:00?... 8:30???? 8:45??????? 8:59??! ... no... they close operations at 9:00pm on the dot. Now I know what you might be thinking... "what a stickler." But I tell you what, from an employee standpoint, this is beneficial. 8 out of 10 times, you will receive a hefty tip for accommodating a customer and not shaming them. During my tenure at J-Mike's, it would take me 3 minutes to make a customer a sub, and 2 minutes to clean up the spot i dirtied up. In my opinion, there is no excuse to deny a customer an order just because the employees want to leave early. I've witnessed my employees deny customers 20min before closing and without fail, that customer would never come back to order a sub again. And I don't blame the customer. I'm really disappointed in how the women on the phone shamed me because I called in an order so close to close of business. If you aren't going to make a sub before closing... why are you answering the phone? Bad customer service. Won't go back to this Jersey Mike's location again. read more

The only reason I'm giving 1 star is the food, the food is always great but the service is terrible, there was 3 employees behind the counter and a total of 2 customers when I walked in to pick up my online order. I was early, don't get me wrong, but I didn't even get greeted when I walked in. I sat down at a table and still no greeting, not even asking if I had an order. My order was due at 3:57, and there are sporadic customers (1 here and there) so there is no way they did not have time to make my order. It is now 4:05 and I'm just now getting it, I've been here for 30 minutes. I finally went up and asked them if they had an online order ready for me and the guy turns around and says yeah it's right here, this guy by the way, looks disgusting. How are you guys? Hire somebody with piercings all over his face is beyond me. I only have 30 minutes for lunch so I pretty much have to eat this in the car, On my way to my next appointment. Are used to be in the food service business, if I was the manager of this restaurant, there would be some customer service classes required of my employees. At least, if the employees would have greeted me when I walked through the door and asked me if there was anything they could help me with, then they would have known I was there for an online order, and hopefully put it together a bit sooner than 30 minutes. July 2019 - Been to Jersey Mike's several times since they opened on 466A near The Villages. The subs are large, a little expensive but great eating. Get them Mike's Way with all the extra stuff. The fixings are fresh and the service is excellent. Try them, you will like it. read more
