    Dining room and order counter.
    Peter B.

You order at a counter and an employee brings your food out. Is that worth a tip? I don't think so. Nobody circulates the dining room for drink refills. If you order the salad/sandwich combo, beware. Many sandwiches are "premium " and cost $1.50 additional. Nickel and dime time. I'm not sure I will return. It doesn't seem like a great place to dine with many better alternatives. The meals were fine, but expensive. $30 for 2. What?

Garden salad with croutons and cheese removed.

Two salads ordered both were wrong. Simple garden salad without croutons or cheese had both; and grilled chicken salad (no customization) had no cheese. Once I removed all the cheese and croutons from mine and put it on the other salad, all that was left was lettuce with very little tomato or cucumber. There was one customer in the store when we picked up the order. The outside order slips were correct so we assumed salads were too. We were wrong. We spent $27 on a house/garden salad and a grilled chicken salad. This shouldn't be this tough. I won't be returning anytime soon unless I eat there and can have errors corrected.

Worst McCallisters I've ever been to. The cashier with the long hair and glasses is rude and mumbles when he speaks. The kids in the kitchen obviously don't care at all about what they send out. This is the club sandwich that cost $14. Absolutely awful. Furthermore the manager Victoria seems to think it's ok so she refused a refund. This pace is run by a bunch of children who have no idea about customer service or quality stay away at all cost

Usually my rating is always 4-5 stars but not today unfortunately, they did replace my meal but dead fly in my salad.

Made it in nick of time... they have Reubens

My Rueben, actually it was a Rachel ( with Turkey instead ) was not awesome.. just meh. Not happy. The bread wasn't toasted and the sandwich wasn't hot, the cheese was not melting and the inner sides of the bread was soggy. Just an overall disappointment. OH..... and I almost forgot !! I found a long black hair in the sandwich ... pulled that out of a mouthful of already chewed food. I do not recommend this place.

Food is great, 1/2 and 1/2 option with salad or potato is a great deal. Very clean, gives off a nostalgic vibe when dining in.

Heard the French dip was good here so thats what I went for. Meat was way overdone. For a $20 sandwich I would expect more. Wont go back

Run-of-the-mill deli sandwiches, salads and soups - Service is indifferent - I can take or leave it - nothing special.

Good food but the small portions aren't worth the high prices. Visited the store in Brownwooc The Villages. I'll go elsewhere.

The whole experience was not. This was a refreshing experience. They have been open for a short time and this was my first opportunity to stop in. The store was clean, employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. I walked in around lunchtime and was directed to the back of the store where the line started for ordering. They have a big menu board which I read first to determine what to get. The Cubano sounded good so I decided to give it a try. There were two choices for bread where they started the sandwich and put it in the oven. I was directed to the next station for all the toppings. I had a moment and chatted with the two employees that were there, and the one at the register asked what I got and if I would be having a drink or anything else. I told them I would take a meal which consisted of the sandwich, a drink and chips. On my sandwich came out they asked how I wanted it and directed me to assign that showed all the topics available. I opted for mustard and added hot peppers. I was very impressed with the taste of the sandwich and the hot peppers added a nice touch that you don't normally get on a Cuban. I will definitely be trying this one again in the future. They have several tables to dine at and there are accessible spaces out front. They have a drink station where you would get your own drink. If you're looking for a good hot sandwich, this is a great choice to have in this shopping area.

Have you ever wondered what German pastry heaven would look like?…read moreWell, look no further, Yalaha Bakery is what you've been dreaming of! My husband and I have been searching for a German bakery since we both have a sweet tooth for baked goodies. He's been telling me about how legendary German goulash tastes since before we got married (it's been a few years now ) and the Yalaha Bakery menu mentioned seasonal soup including goulash so of course we had to stop here. We visited on a rainy Wednesday afternoon around 4:45 pm. This place has modest architecture and a small parking lot, but don't let that fool you since as soon as you open the door, there are 4 glorious levels of tasty treats under a refrigerated glass display and fresh bread in shelves behind the counter. There were about 4 customers in the shop and a few others that came in while we were ordering. Everything looked so delectable, so it was hard to choose from the huge variety! Our bakery order ended up being quite large, so I'm glad my husband brought the cooler with him. We got 1 rhubarb pie (for a gift), 1 rhubarb streusel (another gift), 1 apple streusel, 1 German apple pie, 1 tiramisu, 2 lavender shortbread cookies, 1 eclair, 1 cream horn, 1 Brazilian caramel bar, 4 pretzel rolls, and 4 large pretzels. There might be a few other things as well. The order was about $125 with tip. Excellent customer service by the counter girl, and she was very patient while we were deciding on things. After we packed our pastries in the cooler, we went back to check out the deli section. They had a lot of German deli items to choose from, but what I was really interested in was the goulash. The very kind counter lady (possibly the owner?) took my order, and I couldn't have asked for a heartier, soul-warming soup for about $6. The meat was cooked to soft perfection. The veggies (peppers, tomato, and potato if I recall correctly) melted away while you sipped the soup that tasted like it was made by your favorite extra-skilled German grandma. I was in stew heaven. Of course, I shared a few spoonfuls with my husband, and it was gone in a few minutes. All in all, we discovered that Yalaha Bakery is a hidden gem in Yalaha, FL. If you love bakeries and handmade treats like we do, this is a great place to visit. Prepare your bank account to splurge on pastries, artisan German bread, and remember to stop by the deli! We'll be back again next time we're in the area on one of our road trips.
