Jersey Steamer did a wonderful job throughout our house! The kitchen tile and grout look so clean! The stairs and hallway had dingy carpet that now looks great! The den and master bedroom look terrific! John and John were super careful. They put down canvas runners to protect areas that didn't need cleaning. They used large plastic covers to protect the walls' corners from their equipment. They moved the furniture and cleaned underneath and behind, and they put protectors on the furniture's feet. If I could give zero stars to this company I would. We had recently moved to the area toward the end of summer and wanted to get our rugs cleaned. I made it abundantly clear that we were going to store the rugs until cooler months (our new home isn't air conditioned and laying rugs in the thick of the summer heat wouldn't work for the home). They cleaned our rugs, steamed our floors and steamed our couch. They returned the rugs rolled and put them into my storage area for me - fully understanding that they would not be unrolled until fall/winter. There was NO mention that the rugs could potentially still be wet and to my surprise the rugs are completely covered in mildew and mold as I discovered this past weekend when we brought them in to unroll them. I immediately called the company to see what we could do and the owner said it's not his fault we stored them and that they would not offer any additional services to redo the rugs for free or even at a discount. If I would have known that the rugs could have been even slightly damp, I would have installed them over the summer, let them dry fully and then move them back into storage to avoid the $1,000s of dollars in damage. Aside from the rugs, the floor steaming was great but they caused permanent damage to our couch - there are white streaks that we've been unable to remove and they wouldn't rectify that issue either. MATT was rude, obnoxious, yelling in my ear, telling me more about what he WOULD NOT do versus what rugs he will clean. when told to leave premises, he initially Refused to put furniture back in place...said I was wasting HIS time! His attitude was ABSOLUTE WORST ! Field Customer Service minus 10! we told him to exit the premises.. I was on verge of calling police to remove him with his attitude! This is the worst carpet cleaners. They steam cleaned the whole carpets in my home and left big brown stains on my carpets in several areas that weren't there before. The Manager Jim refused to send someone to come back and remove the stains which popped up in my family room carpet. They also left my carpets with a terrible odor. Home Advisor recommended 3 carpet cleaning services in my area. After reading the customer reviews, I decided to go with Jersey Steamer and I am so so glad that I did!!! Initially, I had them clean carpets in my 3 bedrooms, sitting room, family room, and hallway. I was amazed at the end results. I also had the upholstery cleaned on two wing chairs that I thought had seen their day. How surprised I was that these two chairs that I was very close to discarding, bounced back to looking like new. Jersey Steamer literally saved these chair ! I was soooo please with the service that I received from this company that I rehired them to clean my floor tile and grout. I wish that I was techy and knew how to show the before and after pictures because you would truly be amazed. After getting a price-gauging "sales oriented" estimate from another local carpet cleaning company, I was referred to Jersey Steamer from a neighbor. It turns out, based on my community Facebook page, that there are many great reviews on this company with tons of happy customers. My own personal experience-they came on time, did a GREAT job getting stains out and making 18 year old carpets look brand new, which is a feat considering that I have 2 dogs! Additionally, they repaired an ugly buckle in my living room carpet, which made such a big improvement on the look of the room. All that for a third of the quoted price from that local company. My carpet on the stairs were starting to look dirty and worn out...but after Joe and his partner got done, they look great, like new.
