They…read morevaried by about $100 but my experience told me that the cheapest quote would invariably go up in price after the job started because low ball quotes are just bait and switch surprises waiting to happen. So I chose Powerpro Carpet Cleaning and I couldn't be happier with the result. Firstly I must mention that Rich who came to do the job was courteous and very thorough and took NO shortcuts, after he was finished my carpet looked almost brand new and that's quite an accomplishment with 15 year old carpet that had never been cleaned before. I would tell you that if you hire him to do the job you won't be disappointed! You'll really like the result. From now on I'll never use any one else. ADDENDUM: After waiting overnight so the carpet had time to dry and then vacuuming the carpet as they suggested it looks even better as they said it would. These guys were hired by my landlord for a lead paint remediation job and they were TERRIBLE. They didn't give me the required paperwork, they didn't properly confine the work space, they didn't cover or protect my personal items, they didn't tell me to turn off my HVAC unit, they didn't even keep me out of the work space!!! They dry scraped. They didn't clean properly. They didn't do a clearance when they were done. When they came back to do dust wipe sampling to show that the house was lead safe in order to pass inspection for the town, the guy collecting the sample didn't FOLLOW any of the correct procedures to get a good sample. He didn't wear gloves. He didn't mask of the area he was taking the sample from. He did everything wrong. When I confronted him, he said he would have to "double check" to see if I was right. He doesn't need to. I am. These guys are total frauds and are akin to waste disposal companies dumping toxic waste in the ocean just to get rid of it. God sees your sins.
