Take-out vegetarian mix-and-match plates + large arnabeet (cauliflower)
    Sel Z.

We wanted to come here for the buffet, but upon arriving, we were told that it was closed (we got there in the mid-afternoon)... even though we checked open times beforehand online. The take-out counter was open, so we opted for that instead. Most of the foods on display were ready-to-go and vegetarian / vegan. You can also order manakeesh (Lebanese flatbread topped with toppings such as cheese, spinach, and za'atar - akin to thin-crust pizza) to be made on site. We opted for the vegetarian mix-and-match plates, which came with either rice or salad, 5 small sides, and 3 falafels. Most of the items were pretty good, my favourites being the arnabeet (cauliflower), eggplant with chickpeas and tomato-based sauce, bamya (okra), and white cannellini beans salad. The warak enab (also called dolma or stuffed grape vine leaves) was flavourless and had too much ratio-to-grape vine leaves ratio (more rice inside that I'd like). The tabbouleh was way too salty. The other dishes were good though. Although the manakeesh was made fresh to order, it came out pretty fast. It was also extremely salty. There were a few small tables by the take-out counter, for those who wish to eat the take-out items on the spot. They packaged all the items very well to avoid leakage.

One of the better buffets town for a reasonable price! At $40 per person, some of their high quality protein offerings - roast lamb, beef, whole grilled fish, etc We went on a Sunday evening with a small group. Staff service was excellent, as they are also coming around to clear the table of used plates They even had a belly dancer entertain the diners (started at 7:30pm / for about 30 minutes) Loved all that they had to offer - not just a great variety, the food quality was fresh AND flavourful Can't wait to return to this establishment! Post covid, this place is back to the traditional buffet model. The variety is pretty good. Lentil soup, falafel, chicken kofta & beef kofta, fried cauliflower, mezes & flatbreads (zataar, cheese, cheese & herb) are good. The other dishes are either decent or so so. Ironically for a Mediterranean place, the seafood isn't good. The roast beef is a bit dry & a bit overcooked. My friend ordered the Turkish coffee (it's important to specify!), but it was a bit dilute.

It's so refreshing to see a buffet that is not Chinese or Japanese cuisine! Just to shake it up a bit! The ambience, vibe and decor of Jerusalem makes this such a great experience! The food is secondary. Authentic interior which makes you feel like you're really having a full experience. There was a lively DJ that played some great music and announced birthdays in a really fun way. And there was also a belly dancer who was engaging and friendly! (And beautiful!) One complaint is that the music was extremely loud for the whole night. Perhaps lower to a more manageable level, and turn up when the dancer is performing. It was hard to hear each other talk at the table! Plenty of food with lots of salad and seafood choices. My favorite was the lentil soup! A very large restaurant that can accommodate large parties, so great for anniversaries or birthdays. Make a reservation though! It was PACKED!

The service here was amazing, our server was so friendly and made so much jokes and even bought us free desserts to try out of her own will. The place is really nice, and open spaced. The food though had not many options, there was only like 2 tables of food and the selection of the desserts was pretty limited too. The food tasted pretty good though!

I have never been to this location, but we ordered for takeout today. Our order included "Chicken Shawarma Sandwich", "Meat Shawarma Sandwich" with garlic sauce and "Hummus". Our food was well-packaged and it was still hot when we got home (10-15 minute drive). Both of the sandwiches tasted really good; perfectly marinated and cooked. Although I personally loved the meat shawarma better. Hummus tasted ok, but nothing special. I would definitely order from them again.

For a buffet, this was surprisingly good and my whole group was pretty impressed. The restaurant is very spacious, and they even had a belly dancer performing on saturday evening. It was a good vibe, and service was quick and friendly. The food itself is delicious and the selection was massive; some of my favourite bites were the garlic shrimp, falafel, zaatar pizza, tabbouleh, hummus with olive oil, and garlic potatoes. There's even a dessert station with everything from knafeh to baklava to date squares, each of which were delicious. Overall I'd say this was a surprisingly good hidden gem in Toronto, and I'd definitely come back.

It was a good Buffett and I liked it. Nice staff and very quick and unique service. Food was tasty and it's recommended if you are around the area and hungry.

I came here for friends birthday and I've never heard of this place before until that day. The vibe of the place is more on the classic side and it almost feels like a Hall. It was pretty fun when the entertainment came on which was belly dancer and also a guy on the piano and sings. He sang Happy Birthday to literally everyone that had a birthday there which was pretty fun if you're with a big crowd but if you're just trying to have an enjoyable dinner there will be one point of the night where he will be seeing a lot which might be annoying to some people. This food is buffet style and the buffet section is terribly small which causes a line up down to where the bar and washroom is which is quite inconvenient but if it's not on a busy day than it would be okay. The selection of food isnt huge.

It said established in 1919, so we thought it's a good sign it's been in business over a century; although not this location specifically. Their history in the 20th century was that they started in Berlin, Germany in 1919, but they were a Jewish family who ended up immgrating to Israel in 1933, opening their store there, and expanded locations throughout Israel. Their history in Toronto & North America (including some in the US) is much more recent since opening in 2017. Unfortunately, my closest is New York City; none in Maryland or DC area. This location is in busy downtown Toronto. We sat outside on their big patio area as the weather was warm and could enjoy the view of the buildings, people, cars, etc. Server was friendly answering our questions. I ended up getting an egg benedict with salmon in a croissant. It was creative and delicious take on egg benedict. The only issue was it was messy to eat in the croissant, but I didn't care as it was so delicious. My girlfriend got a Belgian waffle with blueberries, whipped cream, etc. It was unique and very good & sweet too as I tried a bite. Overall, this was a 5-star experience with great food, service, & atmosphere.

Service: It was not great. We sat for a while and no one took attention (we were outside and they were busy but no excuse for them -- they should do better). We had folks come in and out and were somewhat nonchalant and not attentive. Food: This was the great part of the experience. - Berries and Granola with Greek Yogurt: My brother in law got this an he devoured it and said it was great. - Farmers Breakfast: My wife got this and she LOVED it. She went back to get their Halwah Latte (which she said was just OK) - Egg white Omlette Skillet: I customized my food and it was good -- for reference I've had better only because the cheese was feta and it was unclear that this was the only option as I don't love feta. Also I'm pretty sure while I asked for egg whites there was normal egg (i.e., eggs). If you order egg white make sure the server hears you. They screwed this up for me. This is why I'm giving it three stars -- I could have made a stink but didn't think it was necessary to do so. All in all -- I'd recommend this spot to folks but don't go there thinking the service will be great.

It's the details that make it stand out, the attention to detail and the care when serving and presenting the food. Food 4.5/5 Went with the lunch menu (great value with an appetizer and main). Quality is consistent with what you'd expect from Milos: fresh, simple, and done properly. They're also mindful of time; if you mention you're on a tight schedule, they can accommodate a one-hour lunch without making it feel rushed. Had the salmon along with salmon tartare and the octopus. The four-course Sunday Family menu seemed like a great intro, especially after a lot of travel. We were celebrating my wife's birthday with another couple and added the Milos Special and extra Santorini Fava. Highlights: crisp, well-seasoned eggplant and zucchini from the Milos Special, and sublime grilled octopus -- charred outside, tender inside. The lamb chops were delicious, though juices from the steamed veg made the fries soggy. Service is where it fell apart. No one explained that the Santorini Fava was a puree, not whole beans -- tasty, but clearly meant as a dip we never got instructions for. I used it on my lamb instead. At the end of the meal, a passing server (not our actual waiter, who'd vanished) told us the set menu didn't include dessert. We believed them. Then servers brought out one slice of birthday cake with a candle, a great gesture but kind of odd for us all to sit around with this one slice. My wife asked for a few more forks so we could pretend we were eating at the trough, so befitting for this calibre of restaurant right? Our waiter reappeared with a table service à la carte dessert selection we weren't interested in. Only later, at home, did we learn the set menu actually included dessert -- karydopita or seasonal fruit. Another service disappointment that sours one's taste. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet our waiter disappeared repeatedly. What was with that? We looked, he wasn't serving others. No surprise there's no Michelin star or Bib Gourmand here. The food was mostly excellent, but the service was unacceptable for this tier. We won't return, and we'll warn friends off. Management should follow up with our waiter, Margelo, to see if this was a one-off.

That cheese crust is the obvious star of the show here, while the fresh, soft bread is also quite delicious. The other components are tasty too, but the patty itself is the weakest link.
