They reproduce quickly And the life span is a month. I have a greenhouse and 50 plants in my house. I asked for a refund and he said no and just sprayed the plant down with I'm assuming is neem oil. But now I have to separate this plant leave it outside, hose it down kill the bugs and constantly repeat it till they're all gone. To be honest, I just wanted my $43 stock and I can get this plant somewhere else.. I 100% will never recommend this place to anyone

I have completely fallen in love with this gem of a nursery in Encinitas. I have been searching for…read morerare plants all over North County and have found that this has the best selection and best value for rare houe plants. This whole rack of plants came from Cordova, and not a single one can be found at any other nursery for these affordable prices (think 25%-50% of the price you'd find online). I have found several White Princess and Pink Princess Philodendron that have made exquisite gifts for the holidays. The most amazing Philodendron I found was the Jose Bueno, its leaves are easily at least 18" and I snagged it for 1/3 the online price! I have also found Swiss Cheese Monstera, as well as Thai Constellation and Albo varieties. My other amazing find has been their String of Turtles and String of Hearts, which are very rare as compared to the more typical string of pearls. The owner shared with me that he's been in business for over 38 years! He is super knowledgeable and has a vast inventory (hence the competitive pricing). The plants are all super healthy, and I've not had a single pest interloper from their collection. I have never left this nursery without finding what I was looking for. So if you're looking for presents this season (prepare to wow all of your friends and family while not breaking the bank) or want to expand on your rare house plant collection, this is your spot. Go before I buy all their plants.

I have heard of Anderson so many times before so I was glad that I was able to coincidentally pass by and stop by and spend a great time looking at all they have to offer, which is a lot. I particularly like the section about poinsettia's. They have a lot of variety and they were all fresh and beautiful. The only thing I think it should be improved. Is there a gift shop? I would want to see bigger and more assorted. Other than that, easy to park. Easy to navigate. It's been a great time there.

The cashier on the cash register facing the inside of the building was very rude during check out. She didn't see the price tag on the pots I wanted to purchase and when I showed it to her she said $9.99, even though it clearly said $8.99. When I corrected her, she started giving me attitude. She didn't notice that my child had a watering pail she didn't scan during the first transaction. When we got to the car, I noticed the pail and went back in to pay for it. Got back in the line the same cashier and while I was waiting in the line she decided to help customer from the other line even though the other side had two open cashiers. I got to the register and realized I forgot my wallet so I went back to the car the grab it. Had to stand in already existing line of 3 customers formed inside the building, then she rung up customers from the other side again before helping me. Even though I had already waiting behind 3 people. It felt very discriminatory. We came here because we wanted to support local small business instead of a big box store. I was extremely disappointed by my experience here.

It's one thing to have an amazing green thumb (which he absolutely does), but Jason has a rare, uniquely brilliant talent for exterior design. We came in with a few scattered ideas for our backyard, and he instantly mapped out a cohesive, stunning visual plan that we never could have dreamed up on our own.
