The selection is limited to some cacti and mostly succulents. But they'll have the ones you're looking for and some exotic ones as well. I've never been disappointed and I've always found something new to plant from here. - This is the place to go for succulent arrangements or if you're starting a small succulant garden. I have puchased many plants from Oasis that are thriving in my yard. - The owner's daughters (presuming) are very helpful and seem to be running the retail shop these days.. Some other nurseries don't have anyone to help with questions. - They always have clearance plants up front. Usually they're only tiny succulents but you can't beat .75 to 1.50 each. - Check days and hours of operation before coming. - They do have a stack of plastic tiny plant carriers if you plan on buying a bunch of tiny succulents.

It seemed the prices were more reasonable than some others. When we arrived I would describe the experience as very high pressure. She comes on very strong attempting to establish a connection. The prices were also higher than expected and we were required to pay nearly 2000.00, the balance of our order upfront. We could not get information on the delivery until the day before. Our plants were not as ordered and arrived strapped to a flat bed truck after we were assured they would be delivered in a box truck to protect the plants. It was not what we had ordered and the plants were damaged. We have been awaiting a 375.00 refund, which we have not received to date. There is no way I would recommend Plants of Joy.

This business breathed new life into my opinion of farmers markets- in a world where buying local is now typically more expensive than going to chain grocery stores, the prices here are very modest. I am super happy! He had mini succulent gardens for 3$, hanging plants at 10$ each or 2 for 15. I found a bird nest fern for 15$, including taxes. There is a 50-cent credit card usage fee, and that's certainly reasonable. While I do look forward to shopping at his actual nurseries, I will happily make weekly pilgrimages to the Oceanside Farmer's Market to see what he has to sell.

First they ask you where your local store is based on zip code. I put that in, got my local store. But then I was been asked for a password for an account I don't have. Can't register for an account online either; it keeps telling me nope, I'm registered, but there's no way to recover my password or get a new one. It just goes in an endless loop of "NO". Not a user-friendly site. Today, Sat. Feb. 13, I tried to put in an order via San Carlos Hardware, but they told me they can't do that and I should call Moosa, so I tried to call. I got a message saying they were closed - for the CHRISTMAS holidays! Uh, I know COVID has blurred a lot of stuff, but I still know what month it is. And if I were running a business I'd sure update my phone message more often. I hate to give them 3 stars, but their customer service both online and by phone is pretty nonexistent.
