My hairstylist is amazing and has come to be a very close friend over the years. This is why this review will be so shocking to others as it was to me. Saturday May 30th 2026, I came in just for a regular color like every other appointment. I noticed my stylist was acting very concerned and the entire vibe of the salon was tense. The longer I sat there the more i realized what was going on. An older woman was doing a clients hair and was disgustingly drunk. There were also a group of MINORS (under 21) drinking as well. These underage kids were running all through the salon, banging on stuff, screaming, wrestling,etc. Then to my shock this older woman started making out with the minor while doing a clients hair??! It was honestly so unprofessional and embarrassing for Tress. Her client looked visably uncomfortable. I then noticed my stylist had gone in a back room and not returned for almost 45 minutes. Every employee kept trying to distract us, offer us drinks, etc. I texted my stylist to see if she was okay and the results were disgusting both as a client/friend and as a woman. My stylist was being verbally and physically assaulted by the same underage kids running around the salon. After confronting them she was even held at KNIFE POINT. The police were called and TRESS salon staff ushered them away claiming nothing was wrong. They continue to try to cover this up to save their reputation, even with my stylist now covered in bruises. They have tried multiple tactics to keep this quiet and my stylist has had multiple employees as well as her attackers (sent by the owner to talk to her) urge her to drop the story/report. All I have to say is that for a salon who so boldly claims to be "built by women for women", covering up the blatant abuse of a female employee doesnt seem so girls girl to me. Not to mention their employees being sloppy drunk with teenagers. I hope all the employees present and working to push the story under the rug look themselves in the mirror and are happy with what they see. This behavior is DISGUSTING. Dont ever spend your hard earned money here. This is NOT a family establishment or a safe space. I urge women to be careful and alert here.

She gave me the exact haircut I asked for without any issues (which is so rare for me because I'm very picky lol).
