I actually love one of the PAs there, Sue, and have started requesting her rather than Dr. Schlam. It expedites the process even more and she is really friendly and informative. They do sell most things patients need at the office. Again, I think this is great because it means no stopping at a pharmacy, but I could see how some people would be turned off by this factory-like setting. (Of course you can get a script and go to a pharmacy if you'd like!) I am a fan of this office, but know what to expect before you go.

The office environment is clean, well lit, follows CDC protocols. The personnel is friendly and fast to help you. I went in for consultation and was diagnosed with a neck situation which involved vertebras C5, C6,C7 and collapsed disks. Procedures is called ACDF. Between check in, surgery and recovery it took approx 4 hours then went home. It has been 10 days and am feeling great and pain free and starting my road to recovery to strengthening my right arm and shoulder muscles. I highly recommend this office and both doctors.

They screwed up my mail in prescription and repeated calls to fix the mistake were not returned, in fact they made the problem worse. I was told to call the doctor to discuss some test results - that was over two months ago and that call wasn't returned either. So I guess go there if it's convenient to you or if it's the only place that accepts your insurance; otherwise, look elsewhere.

This year my sinus condition was particularly bad so I looked around for ENT doctors near me. Nothing seemed to work, so I went "out of network" to Dr. Mandel's office in Plantation, which had been recommended to me. And I'm very glad that I did! Dr. Mandel is highly skilled, compassionate person and offers individual treatment plans to suit his patient's needs.
