Kathy did my nails and they turned out BETTER than the picture I had shown her. She was so detailed, neat, and talented. All of her tools were clean, she was organized, funny, and professional! Kelly did my eyebrows - it was painless! She kept me educated about which wax would be best for me and told me about the benefits of using a soy based wax. I got a little gift bag for being a first time customer, they set up my reoccurring appointments and even registered my number in their system so that I get a text when my appointment is coming up. I initially before scheduling my appointment asked the receptionist over the phone whether or not extractions would be included with my facial service. I've came here multiple times and gotten a facial by the previous Beautician. ( I have no idea what services she was giving me) My skin has "more acne than the average face" when I walked in she already had everything laid out did not give me a consultation and even look at my skin. I was blown away . She already preplanned our appointment without seeing my skin or asking me what my goals were. Since I was let known the extractions were included and I can't tell time while laying on a bed it started to get I started to feel like we were getting closer to the end of the appointment where the extractions begin - I asked her "are we doing extractions today?" We did them for maybe five minutes- My face needs x3 the amount of time I figured she could assume that by looking at me and possibly prioritize it. When I mentioned this to her - as a disclaimer I was extremely calm using a soft tone no aggression, I asked her when we were going to do them since the receptionist let me know they were included. What the receptionist didn't tell me is that the extractions are included for apparently "more-normal" skin. I explained this to her how I was confused over the phone by the receptionist. The beautician started to shake and hyperventilate for the rest of the appointment. Again I did not speak to her in any way to get this reaction. I have PTSD myself and would never put someone else in an uncomfortable position on purpose. She began to make me extremely uncomfortable because of her behavior to the point where I asked her to just remove the product off my face so I could leave EARLY since she was making it seem like it was MY fault the receptionist misunderstood me she "I am also a receptionist I will get in trouble for this, The receptionists aren't trained properly on facial services" NONE OF THESE ARE MY ISSUE - First of all I came here after experiencing a traumatic life changing event and my boyfriend thought it would be nice for me to plan a facial knowing how much I like them. This is the last thing I wanted to happen during my service. Obviously there was a huge miscommunication but at the cost of a customer and maybe others in the future too. I told her "I wouldn't tell anyone because I felt bad" I left without speaking to anyone and the situation continued to bother me. I tried to call and reach back out to the owner- At first I was told she was on vacation ( I thought okay that's normal for July fine) the receptionist, then tried to intercept my call and call me the day before they said she would be back from vacation, I immediately noticed this and told them I didn't feel comfortable speaking with them and I'd call the owner myself. The owner then never called me and I called two more times to leave my number to be contacted. Now i'm not the smartest person alive but didn't the facialist say she worked at the receptionist desk too???? you can do 1+1 right? So this is my complaint I guess, I have your business more than enough chances to fix this. Get better receptionist girls who won't ruin your good business you already have. I remember speaking to someone named Faith who "took my phone number." Unfortunately I loved the services and salon enough to drive 30+ minutes. NEVER AGAIN. This miscommunication could've easily been figured out with me, now I'm not interested you can reply back to this but my entire message and feeling is here I don't have anything else to add or say to you.

While the business revolves around an older clientele don't let that fool you. The staff regularly attends hair shows, seminars, and conferences to keep up to date in techniques and coloring. After booking a massage from the business website she is told the night before her appointment that she cannot use the gift card because the new massage therapist doesn't work directly for the salon! What exactly is the point of me buying a gift card then being told by the business that the cards cannot be used for services that you have always used them for? Horrible customer service, this is not on the employee, it's 100% on the ownership. If you're a business and change your rules on something as big as gift card usage, you should let customers know at purchase, if you don't, you should remedy the situation, not tell the customer there is nothing that can be done. Straight up horrible customer service. Will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

The first thing they did when we got to the spa area is ask what we wanted to drink...ride wine for me, please! It was actually a decent wine, too. The dressing area was comfortable and nice, and you got your own locker to put your clothes and belongings in to - and not grade-school metal lockers, either. They were very nice dark wood lockers. The masseuse was very nice and professional and did a very nice job. My mom and I both walked out of there feeling like butter. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is clean and trendy. Because the place is a spa, too, expect prices to be a little higher than in a regular salon.
