I had a manicure and within two hours, the polish was falling off. I should note I spent over 100.00 plus tip. Called the salon for a solution to the problem. All that was offered was a fix for the next day. I asked the receptionist to speak with the manager. The receptionist came back on the line as stated " we can offer a fix". I asked to speak to the manager again. Again I was put on hold. After a 7 minute hold another receptionist came on the line stating the manager left 25 minutes ago. It is obvious I was being lied to and given the run around. I asked for a return phone from the manager, DeAnna or the nail tech, Angie and never received one. We scoped this place out for our bachelorette party planning. We spoke to the manager about ideas we had and how to accommodate our group. We stopped by to check out the facility and was not disappointed. The spa is serene, calming and private. You're isolated from the hair salon side and you feel tucked away. The massage was amazing, the facial was amazing... so gentle yet firm, products to entice your senses. The pedicures were done with such care to your feet and skin. Gentle with removing the cuticles and cutting the nails. Nothing rushed at all. The same attention to detail with the fingers as well. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Had a great experience, even enjoyed the $20 off our first service. Very clean and comfy spa, they offer complimentary beverage or wine. Great Therapist Danielle she did an excellent job and had me feeling relaxed. If we had to give any constructive feedback it would be to consider offering heated beds or having the heater up a little higher where the room was warmer would be more comfortable as it was a little chilly. I have left two comments on both with concerns about quality of nail services. My comments were deleted and I was then blocked. The last 10 years I have been going to Daybreak, Woodhaven every 5-8 wks for hair and brows services. My positive experiences with these two departments have kept me coming back. I decided to try the nail service (even though its pricey) with the same expectation of high quality customer service. Brittany was recommended. After my third visit with Brittany, I noticed on my way home that two nails needed to be redone. When I returned for the redo appointment, Brittany didn't think there was anything wrong with her work but proceeded to redo the nails. Unfortunately, she buffed out the wrong nail & ended up redoing three nails. Once she was done, she told me to not schedule any further appointments with her because she couldn't work with me. She said she was good at her job and knew what she was doing but my tone of voice when speaking to her made her nervous and that was the reason she made so many mistakes doing my nails. I was surprised by her comments and request. I attempted to understand what she meant by my tone of voice, but further dialog with her soured me towards returning to the salon. I have no desire to return to a place that employs someone who faults the customer for her (Brittany's) service shortcomings. Brittany needs more training in how to deliver a "relaxing and friendly experience at every visit" for each customer.  Finally, I called the next day and requested with the service desk to have a manager contact me about this experience... as post this its been 6 days with no one contacting me. So buyer beware, Daybreak management's commitment to providing "a relaxing and friendly experience at every visit " and follow thru on their "Customer Satisfaction Guarantee" is shallow. Is there any wonder that Brittany felt confident to blame a customer for her poor workmanship? read more
