I've always bought my wife gift cards for this salon for years, it was her favorite salon. I purchased a new gift card recently for her so she can get her normal massage, manicure or whatever. After booking a massage from the business website she is told the night before her appointment that she cannot use the gift card because the new massage therapist doesn't work directly for the salon! What exactly is the point of me buying a gift card then being told by the business that the cards cannot be used for services that you have always used them for? Horrible customer service, this is not on the employee, it's 100% on the ownership. If you're a business and change your rules on something as big as gift card usage, you should let customers know at purchase, if you don't, you should remedy the situation, not tell the customer there is nothing that can be done. Straight up horrible customer service. Will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. read more

Went here yesterday for the first time ever. I went with my mom and we got side-by-side hot stone massages in the spa. The staff was very nice, and the spa area was beautiful. The first thing they did when we got to the spa area is ask what we wanted to drink...ride wine for me, please! It was actually a decent wine, too. The dressing area was comfortable and nice, and you got your own locker to put your clothes and belongings in to - and not grade-school metal lockers, either. They were very nice dark wood lockers. The masseuse was very nice and professional and did a very nice job. My mom and I both walked out of there feeling like butter. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is clean and trendy. Because the place is a spa, too, expect prices to be a little higher than in a regular salon. read more

I actually work here and this is probably the most relaxed and drama free salon I have ever worked at. Very professional and all of the girls are great at what they do! The salon is seriously a hidden gem in Trenton. I advise everyone to check it out and fall in love with the staff and the ambiance. read more

I had a great experience here. When I called and the woman on the phone was so friendly and she was able to get me an appointment the same day. The staff was so welcoming when I arrived, they took my coat and asked if I needed a refreshment. As a busy woman, (what woman isn't busy and stressed, right?) I had been looking forward to a relaxing spa day. My good friend and I planned a day of massage, mani/pedis and facials at Elevate. My hot stone massage by Hollie the massage therapist was wonderful! It was relaxing and I truly felt pampered. I experienced my first ever facial with Elizabeth. She was very informative and friendly and gave me a lot of suggestions for further skin care. A lot of the products I can use are available for purchase right at Elevate. The pedicures are done in a cozy relaxing room in the spa area of the salon. Kasia did mine. It is the best pedicure I've ever received. She took the time to really do a nice, thorough job! The only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of 5 star was for the lack of customer service surrounding my treatments. I had to ask for something to drink. A tour at the beginning of my visit may have been nice to give me an idea of what to expect or what was available. I was offered a locker for my belongings. My friend was not. Some aromatherapy in the spa area might have been nice. I had a great 4-star experience!!! read more

My hair was ruined at Elevate. I had beautiful long hair prior to this incident that ruined my hair. What ruined my hair at Elevate was a combination of high lights by Emily immediately followed by a Keratin treatment from Renee. I experienced significant hair breakage in the following weeks. I attempted to contact the salon to figure out how to make my hair situation right. Renee attempted to fix my hair with cutting off all the breakage. She thought her iron from keratin was possibly to hot or possibly over processed high lights from Emily prior to keratin. I had received keratin from Renee in the past without any problems. I had also received high lights from Emily in the past, never on the same day. I was treated rotten by receptionist Lindsey and the owner Elizabeth because I was complaining. Elizabeth and Emily never asked to see my hair damage. Renee tried to make it right. I have completely lost respect for Elevate based on my interaction with the owner. She does not care about the customer, does not care if a stylist ruins your hair, gets defensive if you complain. I am out 380.00, unhappy with my hair damage, and Elizabeth told me to find another salon to go to instead of trying to make it right. I do not write negative reviews but the customer service at Elevate is the worst I have ever experienced! My damaged hair will eventually grow back. I have recently talked with many unhappy customers from Elevate. I would not recomnend Elevate to anyone. If you have a problem, you will be told you are the problem! read more

Seriously the best sugar scrub/90 min massage ever. I added on reflexology and scalp massage. Such a great idea. The pedicures and blowouts and makeup are phenomenal. The whole staff catered to us in such a great way! Love this place I will be back. read more

The staff at Elevate salon are very kind. I recently went there for my first time to get airbrush make up. When I entered the salon I was welcomed and my coat was taken by the receptionist. I had an appointment with Kasia and she was very friendly and welcoming. I was there for about an hour for my airbrush makeup application. Unfortunately, I was not happy with the outcome. I'm not sure if it was my skin or the application. Overall, the staff is extremely nice but I would not recommend the airbrush makeup. The prices seem affordable as well. read more

I love Elevate and have been going here for years. I get bikini waxes, massages, and manis/pedis. All great experiences. The mani-pedi that I just got on May 20th for my wedding was so much fun. My mom and I both had our own private room and were served beverages as we relaxed. The scrubs and lotions they used smelled sooooooo good! Everyone at the salon is so nice, especially the front desk girl, Kristy. The salon also has a nice variety of shoes, clothes, candles, and other miscelleneous items for purchase in the reception area. This is my go-to salon and I love Elevate! read more

This review is long over due, so it will be long but worth the read! So in the year of 2012 I was going through the phase of box dying my hair a solid jet black. Not once did I go to a salon to get my hair dyed. However when my best friend asked for me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding I decided to go to a salon and get my hair cut and dyed professionally. I booked my appointment and was eager to finally get my hair done at a salon. Let's just say it was my worst experience in my life my hair was left like Liu Kang from mortal kombat. If you don't know who this is or don't know what he looks like stop right here and google this ....not cute! Shortly after this experience I did not go to a salon to get my hair dyed or cut (only cut at a great clips) up until 2016. I did my months of research on finding a good salon downriver that I could trust. I came across Elevate and hesitantly booked my appointment. I arrived 8am and I was greeted warmly and introduced to Sophia, my stylist. Sophia made me feel so comfortable and she was super easy to talk to. She asked me what I wanted and I showed her a picture of the balayage I wanted. Let me tell you after Sophia dried and styled my hair I knew I found my salon! I tell you my hair looked amazing and felt so healthy! Sophia even went as far to show me how to curl my hair with a straightener (something I been wanting to learn) I get many compliments from strangers and other stylists! This salon should get so much more recognition their quality of work and staff are amazing! read more

Everyone there was friendly but they had over scheduled and the appointments were late. I have to point out that I'm 60 years old, I had a special occasion to go to and wanted an up-do and make up. A hair style that is pulled tight back from my face just doesn't suite me, (which is what I ended up with) the back was very nicely done though, very pretty. The make up was ok but I don't think that this salon is for someone my age. All of the other clientele were under 18 years old. My appointments ran so late that I ended up going with the hair/make up but I'm sure I will cringe when I see the pictures, I have a feeling that I looked like a 60 year old trying to look 16. read more
