Went for my first trip to Radish today, & I have to say it has lived up to the hype & expectations…read more We were the first table to arrive & got the pick of the place. It is so well done for a smaller dining room, from the tiling on the bar, the beautiful collection of cutting boards on the wall, the lovely artsy painted radish & the jars of house made pickled vegetables lining the front windows. Our server, Lisa was extremely welcoming, as she was quite joyously making table arrangements of lovely flowers when we arrived. We perused the menu & I chose the lavender haze mocktail for a drink & the crab beignets for an appetizer. Both were equally beautiful and delicious. My mocktail was well balanced and would have made a delicious cocktail had I been in the mood. For lunch I decided on the beet and burrata salad and my sweetie had the catfish sandwich. My beet & burrata salad really hit the spot after the rich yet delicate crab beignets. The catfish sandwich was extremely tasty with the perfectly balanced house made pickles and "Caesar" dressing as the sauce. Their fries were perfectly fried as well. I made a stop in the restroom and adored the radish wallpaper & pictures, and I commented that the bathroom smelled like fresh baked brioche -- which Lisa said it was the bakery next door, Dolce' (which is owned by the chef's wife). She talked up the king cakes so much I had to go get one before our lunch even arrived (since there were very few "extra" king cakes left I am so glad I did!) All in all it was everything I hoped for and I wanted to try SO many things on the menu. I can't wait to go back. A new Mississippi favorite for sure.

Our experience tonight was amazing...we were brought right to our seats (make sure to have…read morereservations). We had amazing apps and entrees. We tried the deviled eggs and crab beignets all so delicious and unique. Most of my family ordered steaks and bragged on them as well. Indoor or outdoor seating is very nice. All staff checked in on us, were friendly, and even made sweet comments to my 1 year old who joined us!

Next time we'll know to get more of the redskin potatoes because they are cooked with the seafood and were amazing. Shrimp was good but not as good as the crab. Every trip to Gulfport will include a trip to the Steamer! Our server was super sweet. I forgot her name but remember she was from New Orleans. And their bread is amazing. Reasonable prices. We walked over from Beach View. Highly recommend!

Would give a negative star rating if possible. Probably one of the worst dining experiences ever…read more Ordered expensive wine, water, appetizer and their special. We received the wine. No water. Received our gumbo. Flavor was fine but mostly broth and spicy. No bread as promised and still no water. Finally hunted down a staff member to put out the fire in our mouths. Chargrilled oysters arrived. Still no bread. Oysters were barely warm, watery and definitely not chargrilled. Again asked for bread. Bread eventually arrived and basked basically tossed on the table with no comments by who we would later learn was the manager. Broiled seafood platter arrived. No condiments and no plates. And it was cold, waitress eventually appeared, was told we were unhappy. She repeatedly apologized. We asked for the manager. Bread guy eventually appears and says what's the problem. We attempted to explain the service was terrible, he interrupted and said we are busy (many empty tables in the place). We attempted to tell him the food was cold and undercooked. He said what do you want me to do about it. Said have a good night and left. WTF? Waitress came back and husband says your manager is an *ss. She said I know. And that is the problem with the place. A manager who apparently doesn't care, has an attitude and would rather be anywhere else. Stay far away.
