All these negative reviews are just plain wrong. I don't know about the other instructor, but the one I was assigned was great. Yeah he can talk fast sometimes, but nothing impossible to understand. Even though I speak full Spanish, he would still give me directions in English, which I understood too. Traffic light, make a left, right, etc. He would only grab the steering wheel if he wanted to correct me or help me guide a turn, but he wouldn't "slap my hand" like some other reviewers said. Not once did he mention anything about his religion, and he was not openly racist, or homophobic like some other reviewers said. Even though they had the cheapest prices, they still had nice cars and a professional instructor. Don't let these other reviewers push you into believing that this is a bad place, it's not! If you don't understand ANY Spanish, then it might not be for you. For the reviewers complaining that he didn't speak English, you have to consider that this driving school is located in a primarily Hispanic area. It's clear by the name that this place is ran by Hispanics, so why are you upset? If you don't know ANY Spanish, you obviously might have some trouble, but like I said, I understood him in both languages. Overall, this place treated me great, and I recommend it. Amazing driving instructor. A little more on the strict side but that is what a lot more people need to help them pass their driving test. I took one 2 hour class with him and another 1 hour class right before my driving test. I rented and used his car to take my test and passed first try. 100% recommend. If you speak Spanish only then this is the place for you. The owner lied and told me his brother Howard was a English speaking person for my daughters driving classes.he lied. I paid 540 to receive 6hrs driving and rent the car for her test. He picks her up and she said he couldn't speak past 10 words. They suggest a woman who yes speaks English but she makes me aware she has her on business and is there as a favor she isn't available for the test day. He at first doesn't want to issue me a refund.and then when he does he keeps 120 for the day the non English instructor took my daughter and was on his phone while instructing in very very broken English. My daughter said he could communicate left or right. I wouldn't but proceed with caution. Some people are in it for the money thats it. This place is just weird, especially the instructor me and my mother made an appointment to go at four to sign me up when we got there, the door was locked and the instructor came to open the door and he opened the door for us in biker shorts and a sweater!!! to me This was really unprofessional as soon. as we sat down he just took the papers to sign me up and just started talking about his religion and how he's a prince from another world and how Jesus sent him so he can teach humans other stuff and how he owns all of earth and that he lives in another planet that have portals and you can teleport anywhere and that everybody that's gay has tattoos or is a lesbian we'll all go to hell. This guy would not stop talking about his religion. He just gave us the papers to sign and wouldn't even explain to us how the driving classes would work he just told my mom to leave me there Saturday morning nine to one. There's nothing bad about talking about your religion, but he could've been more professional by explaining what the classes were about and helping us sign the papers and then after we were done, he could've said something about his religion but no, it was for a quick 15 minutes that we stayed there. This guy would nonstop talking about how he was a prince. My mother asked me in front of him if I was comfortable staying there I said no so we left. I do not recommend. My experience with Jesucristo Driving School was exceptional and completely different from the previous reviews I had read. My instructor was an incredibly knowledgeable and wise professional who provided comprehensive instruction. In just two days, he taught me everything I needed to know to become a confident and skilled driver. I am unsure why others had a different experience, as I had the same instructor, and he did not match the descriptions in those reviews. Thanks to his guidance, I am now prepared to obtain my driver's license. Este señor está loco. El instructor que me tocó hablaba más de religión que lo que te enseña manejar. No tiene paciencia y grita. Es muy estricto y sangrón. Según es muy religioso y noble pero en cada semáforo criticaba a las personas cruzando. Se rio de una muchacha gordita que estaba caminando y luego se burló de un asiático mientras estábamos en luz roja. Cuando entras en su oficina tiene carteles diciendo que no se debe chismear o juzgar y el hace los dos. El es hipócrita. Aunque tiene los caros muy limpios el es sucio. Creo que el viejito necesita ayuda psicológica. Durante las clases seguía diciendo que el era un príncipe hermoso y que no era de este mundo. Decía que este planeta y país era una humillación y que todos se la iban a pagar y se iban a quemar en el infierno. Este señor se cree que es Dios y me dijo que alguien lo mandó a los Estados Unidos para estudiar a los ser humanos. Cada cinco minutos me enseñaba una cruz que según tenía en la frente pero solamente se le ven arrugas por viejito. This place will try to charge more than what it is. On the day of the driving test with the DMV the instructor instead of enouring me, he kept telling me I was not ready. I've been driving non stop for the last month. I was very confident until todat. He kept pressing the break. Instead of feelign confident like I was feeling in the morning this made me uneasy. I finished my six hours in the matter of one weekend. Even did 2 final clases on same day. Very helpful teachers even if you think you got it you'll learn something new. Highly recommend will update if I pass my test this upcoming week. Howard was a very good teacher very calm and kind. read more

Horrible instructor. He always screamed at me. I felt that he was concerned about messing up his car as he used to scream to me whenever I made a mistake. I took two lessons with him; I've had paid 3 driving lessons plus the driving test upfront. The first two was were about a week apart the third one was coming up but then the pandemic happened. At the time when the DMV briefly opened, I book the third class to ready myself to take the driving test. After the third class I was sure I didn't want him to take me to the do the driving test. He was screaming at me real bad. I never wanted to say anything since I had paid already and I was scared of retaliation at hindsight I should have said something. I asked him I wanted a refund. First he said he could give me a refund but I needed the receipt and that he wasn't going to be able to give me the refund in full. I wasn't happy about this, but I just wanted to get rid of him as an instructor. So I kept on calling him multiple times to tell him I had the receipt but he was always busy giving lessons, as I could hear him giving instructions while he had me on the phone, I found this to be real unprofessional. He always did this, but I always brush it off, since I was desperate to get a driving instructor for my driving license. Anyhow when he finally was able to talk to me one on one over the phone, I had unfortunately lost the receipt :( I was so mad, I knew he was not going to want to give me anything back and I was wouldn't have any proof to show to the cops (my friend had advised me to call the cops if he didn't want to give me a receipt). I was overwhelmed, desperate to get my license so I just said to myself that I was going to go for it and book my driving test with him. On the day of the test as part of the paid driving test package I practice with him for one hour before the test. Before getting out of the parking lot he screamed at me telling me that I was going to fail the test. I think that this set me up to failure, I was furious, I was so concerned about his car I couldn't stand him sitting next me during the practice and while in the DMV. I was quiet all the time up to the last minute when when he asked if I had passed I said no, got out of his car, and just walked away without telling him anything else. I was super mad I wanted to write a review for a while but I always procrastinated. He was recommended by to me by a coworker her mom had passed the test with him. When I saw that his business name was JesuCristo I was more excited about it. But he screamed at me constantly, horrible at giving tips, and just a bad man in genera. When I first started with him I still thought he was a nice person and I told him that he had really bad reviews on here and he disregarded saying that the internet wasn't trustworthy. During my first diving lesson the instructor was getting updates on the a soccer game every 15 minutes. They would also show up earlier than the agreed time of session. Also, called about 15 minutes before scheduled session to cancel. Extremely unprofessional. read more

I honestly don't know why everyone is saying that the instructor is rude and the classes aren't useful. The guy is extremely STRICT (not rude) and has great teaching techniques. He was really patient with me and taught me everything I needed to know before my test STEP BY STEP! one star but if i could no stars this teacher cancelled my last class over a month ago and he still owes me my last class every time i call to try and confirm my class he says he's giving a class and to call him at 7 when it's like 10am??? i work monday - friday i am busy and don't have time to be waiting for whenever he's ready or calling off just cause he randomly felt like coming to pick me up definitely not worth $220 i've tried to reschedule my last class 3 times and can't because i'm busy and he never answers or says he's busy having a class he needs to be more profesional i guess i've taught myself how to drive and i'm only paying him for a drivers exam since they don't give any because of covid-19 makes me want to not attend to the last class and do everything myself no help whatsoever and i haven't even taken a written test i don't have a permit either what a joke i don't recommend read more

Everyone who has been reviewing with low ratings has focused on things unrelated to this place's service. I had a really good experience. I had had bad luck prior to this school. The instructor, yes, is highly opinionated. That didn't concern me. I was just there to learn. I got a perfect score on my written exam and passed my driving exam on the first try. He was helpful and understanding when I explained to him that driving made me anxious because of bad past experiences. Sometimes his instructions in English got a bit fuzzy but one can quickly catch on to what he means. It did get me a bit nervous but his sudden recommendations did help me remember when to look and when to stop when I took my exam. He went to my house to pick me up and took me on the exam routes to practice. My mother and I didn't have much money and he was the best option for our budget. I definitely recommend this to someone. It'd help if you can understand accents or a bit of Spanish but c'mon. The man is a good teacher. read more

OMG where do i start...my dad found this place because it was cheap..like 175 i think. I needed drivers ed to get my permit even though i already knew how to drive. so i go and this short, creepy, rude, Peruvian guy is the owner/teacher. i watched a few boring videos and did 6 hours in total of driving. two hours each time. he was pretty rude, rough and raised his voice alot. i did not like him from the moment i saw him, but i told myself that it was nothing. haha yea nothing.... when we laughed at something going on in the street he got comfortable enough to tell me his life story: he had a heart attack when he was about 18, he died and went to hell. then saw God and God returned him to earth do his bidding. he sees demons. he hates the pope, and religion. he has a cross on his forehead (wrinkle cross) he talked so much shit. about drunks, homosexuals, drug addicts and that if he were God they would all be burning in hell by know. He said half of the Bible was the truth and half was trash, he even got into an argument with my mom. telling her that he was going to judge her in the afterlife and staring at her as if he really thought he could do something. WOW. If he saw anything it was the devil and was doing his bidding. God is love and peace. not what that idiot was. Any way it was horrible, i didn't even say anything back, just in case he got mad and wanted to put a curse on me. But whatever, DO NOT GO HERE. Oh God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So when I started taking the classes I kind of knew how to drive. I just needed to work on parking,my left and right turns,and driving in the freeway.The instructor Howard did not really speak english it was a disaster!!!!This man would talk on his cell phone while I was driving he would just tell me to keep driving straight and did not teach me what I wanted to learn.I really wanted to learn how to parallel park and park in shopping center he did not teach me nothing at all.I left knowing what I already knew!Find another driving schoolLmao he didn't really say much when he was so called "teaching me how to drive".I was glad he kept his distance.The only creepy thing was he kept calling me "Mamacita" when he would tell me how to do something.
