Bad experience with the company not honoring the 6 full hours of driving lessons i paid for infull for my kid. Apparently, after rescheduling a driving lesson caused me to lose that lesson. The company claims that the lesson could have been filled as if they loss out on money. But, I disagree, this company gets paid in full ahead of time.And whether a kid backs out of a lesson at the last minute or not they should be honoring agrees after taking the money. Now i'm forced to pay a different school for the last lesson. I would not recommend using this driving school. read more

Do not book with Scott H. He's very passive aggressive and just rude in general, made the lesson not enjoyable. He often distracts you when you are driving by talking your ear off. read more

absolutely SUCKS. completed my lessons and the night before my permit test, I pull up my certificate of completion...just to find out you have to PAY to have it MAILED to you. I paid 41 freaking dollars and ended up missing my permit test because it didn't arrive in time. what a rip read more

My son had Chris G and he was FANTASTIC! He came home so happy, he loved every minute and said Chris G was amazing.

Exercise caution. Although my kids did not complain about the instructors, my issue is with the school itself. Check how many instructors they have in your area before signing up. With both my kids I had to drive them to another area to get an instructor. This is not mentioned when they take your money. read more

I would definitely not recommend anyone get this service. they did not help cancelled on my appointment at the last minute when I had plan to use them on a Sunday. then switch instructors on me as well at the last opportunity customer service was horrible stay away from them. read more

My experience with them was awesome! Sandy is hands down the best instructor you'll get. She doesn't just prepare you for the test, she makes sure you're good beyond that for when you actually drive. I only had the chance to practice and drive during lessons and in spite of this, I cleared my road test on the very first attempt with 0 points. Thank You Sandy!! read more

My daughter was referred to Candace by another student who had a positive experience. Candace was extremely professional and thorough. She was able to create a calm and positive environment for my daughter to learn and become a responsible driver. She was very communicative and accommodating with scheduling. I'm not sure what happened to this company, I used them in the past with no issues but not this time. Tried to book driving lessons for my son, they take your money up front but weren't able to schedule a date. " we're sorry there are no dates available in your area " what does this mean I asked but got the run around answer. Oh and it will take up to 48hrs for someone to get back to you regarding your refund. Understaffed maybe? Not a good sign for me. I purchased the lesson + road test lesson and originally went in thinking I wasn't going to learn much. I was wrong, I learned some incredibly helpful tips and tricks that helped me pass my behind the wheel test after just 1 lesson. My instructor Carmela was really nice and patient. I felt comfortable the entire time throughout both lessons. Some of the tips she gave me really helped on the behind the wheel test. If it werent for some of those tips I most likely would have failed. Overall, she made me feel comfortable driving and helped improve my driving ability drastically. I would highly recommend coastline academy and specifically Carmela R. as an instructor. read more

Bought a $200 driving lesson for today. I booked it through the lesson link and never received a confirmation. Turns out even though you book through the lesson link, you're just buying credit FOR the lesson. Why would I just buy credit??! I bought the LESSON through the link for the exact LESSON i wanted and somehow there is no such lesson. What a terribly formatted, misleading website. Signed my 16 year old daughter up for behind the wheel lessons. First lesson was ok. 2nd lesson took over a month to book. They had absolutely nothing sooner which was baffling , but ok.. 3rd lesson I had scheduled so that it was right before her dmv appt and they canceled last minute on me. I scrambled to reschedule her DMV appt. I had a disappointed teenager to say the least, but I get it, things come up. Then they canceled our rescheduled appointment YET AGAIN causing me to scramble and yet again change her DMV appointment. At this point I was beyond frustrated. And then they canceled for the THIRD time.!! they wanted to push back her lesson another week and a half!! At this point I was done with the runaround and bs and asked for a refund. They said there was literally nothing they could do to get her an appt sooner unless I wanted to drive her to a different city and meet up with a different instructor, and maybe they'd have something sooner. Crazy!! Horrible customer service!!! Ended up scheduling her final lesson with a different company and they were awesome. Got a next day appointment and she learned a lot. Kevin was the only saving grace for her first 2 lessons. He was kind and friendly and my daughter liked him as an instructor. He seems to be the only professional employee they have! read more

some instructors are great! some aren't. I had a woman say "not to be rude, but I think you don't understand a lot of things." I was trying to park uphill in reverse and did great other than that. she made me feel stupid & it felt demeaning. . but the other guy I had was amazing! don't let a rude instructor make u feel bad about being new at driving! read more

My daughter took 3 lessons here and learned nothing. 3 different instructors. No freeway. Very little driving involved, spent so much time on just parking. Go to another school and let your teen actually learn something. read more

I'm writing this review really late. I took lessons with Ian K last year and I had a great learning experience. At the beginning of my first lesson I was very nervous to drive. However with his help I was able to become a confident and safe driver. He even gave me a heads up on what to expect on my drivers test, which I passed on the first try. I had a few lessons over the course of 3 months before my test. It's great I can schedule lessons around my time and have them as often or not as often as I want. Ian K was a great instructor!
