There was a time I went to another dentist because the wait time to see him was a long time and that was a huge mistake. The dentist I went to told me I had one condition and wanted to charge me $800. When I went to Dr. Ardila he told me all I needed was a cleaning and that cost me only $35. Since this, he's been my go to dentist and I always recommend him to others. There hasn't been a time where I haven't felt welcomed in the office. The ladies in the front are very welcoming and I love that if I'm at work and I can't take the call I can always text the work number. The dentist hygienist always make sure I am comfortable.

In top of that, if you have Delta Dental, they will charge you out of pocket for "cancer screaming" which is the doctor touching your tongue "looking for a tumor". I'd recommend specifically telling them not to do that because they'll charge you after the fact without asking you first if you're ok. I really can't imagine a worst clinic. Stay away.

I only had a small piece of my tooth chipped and went in expecting to have it repaired with a filling. Instead, I was told that I needed a root canal and a crown, which would cost nearly $4,000 with insurance. They also presented me with multiple payment plans. On top of that, they told me that I needed two bridges for the teeth next to it, suggesting that otherwise I could lose my natural teeth. That treatment was quoted at nearly $6,000. Without insurance, they told me the total could be around $17,000-$18,000. What made me even more uncomfortable was that when I said I wanted to get a second opinion and compare prices elsewhere, they told me to call them afterward and let them know what the other dentist charged so they could see if they could match the price. This made me seriously question their recommendations and whether the treatments were truly necessary. I then went to the dental office where I had previously gotten my teeth cleaned, and their assessment was completely different. They told me that I only needed a filling. They explained that the chip was very close to the nerve, so if I experienced significant pain after the filling, I should contact them because further treatment might then be necessary. They charged me only $175 for the filling plus a $50 fee because I didn't have an appointment. I also asked if there was anything else I needed to take care of. They said I had four other teeth that could eventually use fillings, but none of them were urgent or dangerous, so I could take care of them gradually. The total for all was about $2,100 without insurance. I'm not a dentist, so I can't say for certain which treatment was medically necessary. However, the huge difference between the two evaluations and prices was enough to make me very uncomfortable. I had a toothache back in December and was told (by another dental office) that a regular dentist wouldn't be able to help me and that they could only help me in about a month if I go through insurance. When I went to Gentle Teeth, they were able to make a plan of treatment and start it immediately!! Dr. Perez was so great. She was patient with me, as I wasn't the easiest patient, and the entire staff was very professional and nice. The staff was very helpful with getting an appointment set up for me right away. They took all my insurance information and personal information for me right away. When I arrived, they were able to get me in right after I finished up some new patient paperwork. So excited I wasn't left there hanging forever. The dental assistant was very kind. They, unfortunately, have the old school x-ray machine that you have to put those large plastic pieces in each section of your mouth. I have a tiny mouth, so that was very unpleasant for me. After the agony was over, she then began to probe around the gums of each tooth to determine how healthy/unhealthy my gums were. I have never had a dentist office do that, but I thought it was a very good and thorough check up. The denist came in a began to review my x-rays, so I began to ask her about Invisalign. She explained the process to me, but I told her to hold off on giving me more information since my insurance was going to be changing come the new year. After the new year, my insurance switched and I was thankful to find out that this dentist was listed on my insurance. A few weeks ago I received a phone call from Dr. Mclean. She had explained to me that she is having an Invisalign special in her office for one day. She completely remembered that I was interested, how thoughtful. She offered a free teeth whitening, a free Invisalign consultation and if I decided to go through with Invisalign, $250 off the Invisalign treatment. Wow, what a steal of a deal. I thought this was great, so Dr. Mclean set up my appointment right away. I thought that fact that the Dr. remembered what I was interested in and the fact that she called me herself was great. First time they claimed I never made an appointment even though I always make one with my husband and then they still tried arguing. This last time they tried calling me less then 12 hours before my appointment telling me they had to change my time by over two hours but my husband could keep his the same so we had to go back and forth before they "called other people" and called me back less than thirty seconds later to tell me it is okay for my original time I scheduled 6 months beforehand. Other than that... this place is AMAZING. The staff here and hygienists are insanely good and thorough with their cleanings and I love how they also give me a little toothpaste to take home when I am finished! I never have to wait long when I check in! Their waiting room is rather small with a handful of chairs but it is never crowded to where I have to stand or wait outside. Making an appointment is very seamless and they give you more than enough reminders for when your upcoming appointment is. They take their time and I love that they do because my teeth always feel incredibly fresh and clean after my cleanings or check ups if I think I might have an issue. Dr Gonzalez is one of the friendliest people that I know and doesn't feel like I am being rushed out when I am talking to him. I am not a fan of the other dentist that recently started because it feels like she is trying to push products such as claiming I have an overbite when my orthodontist has never said anything about it and I have had braces. They are open every day of the week and every other Sunday and their office is very clean and I never feel like I am on top of anyone when I'm here and waiting for my cleaning. A truly amazing dentist and practice that I hope to continue to go for as long as I can!
