Ken at Highland provided a reasonable quote for my bathroom that needed some work. His communication was excellent throughout the service. The project was completed on time, though I was a bit nervous about reaching the end by our target completion date. After squeezing in a Saturday with work and a very long day running till 7 PM, we were back in track. In the end, I was satisfied. His workers keep the job clean. They put drop clothes throughout the path leading to the area of work, kept the demo contained and at the end of every day, my house wasn't messy. A splatter here and there were found, but Ken was responsive at asking his staff to remedy. I would suggest being very careful about any suggestions or efforts that may seem extra and are not written in your contract. I was surprised with an extra charge at the end for a ceiling light that a worker mentioned to me. However, he never gave me a price for the light or an updated contract. The additional cost was only brought to my attention when the final payment was due. So, just be mindful and ask for clarity in all work. I would contact this business again for services and am generally satisfied.

I called for treatment for Spongy Moth Caterpillar infestation and was advised I would need 2…read moretreatments - 1 in June and 1 in July at $600 each. The team came once in June, which seemed to work. There was no evidence of continued infestation after that first treatment. To my surprise, the team showed up again only about a week and a half later still in June for our second treatment. I later learned from multiple reliable sources, including a NY.gov webpage, that Spongy Moth Caterpillars turn to moths by the end of June. I believe I was oversold, so I made a few calls and sent a letter. I paid for the first treatment, but contested the second. The billing department is threatening collections and transferred me to the Plant Healthcare Manager who admitted some trees need 1 treatment and some need 2..."we sell for coverage." I asked him to clarify and he said they sell 2 in case 2 are needed. I have left 3 messages for my salesperson With no response. Incidentally, we still have nearly complete leaf coverage.
