I got my 2018 accord done here 7 windows and it was great. The service even afterwards was of a high level. Moises I believe his name was helped me look around the car to make sure there were no bubbles and if any, he took care of it with pleasure. Also Marwan was very nice, told me how to take care of everything for the next 3-4 days. i was assured that if there were any issues like bubbles to pop up, that I can come back and they'll take care of it no problem. See updated review. Had a vehicle done here in 2024, everything went well. Attempted to have another vehicle done here, April 2026, here's what I experienced. Picked up my new car April 1. Drove directly to Jet Black, spoke to Alejandro and made an appointment for April 5 to have my car's windows tinted. I asked if April 5 (Easter Sunday) would be a problem, "Are you sure you'll be open for business?" Alejandro: "Oh yes, I'm pretty sure we're open, I'll double check, if not I'll move your appointment to April 4 and call you." I never heard from him but on April 2 I called to confirm, was told they would be open on April 5. On April 4, I called one last time to confirm my appointment for April 5 and once again, was assured that they would be open. April 5, drive to Jet Black and find a business that was very much closed. Called their number and was told by Marcel, "This location is closed today." I became irate, expressed my frustration and was told that "lashing out" at him was not helping matters. True, it did not help, it wasn't Marcel's fault after all. Marcel assured me he would note my frustration and "pass it along to management." Oh goody. That really does me a great amount of good. Especially since I've arranged my day around this appointment. I had my windows tinted here, and the experience was extremely disappointing. My aftermarket screen was in perfect condition before the appointment. Immediately after the tint installation, dark spots appeared all over the display that look like moisture trapped inside the screen. The spots have continued to change since the installation. I have before and after photos clearly showing my screen was undamaged before bringing my car in and the condition it was returned to me in afterward. When I first brought the issue to Alejandro's attention, I was told to "wait a few days and see if it dries up. If not, come back and we'll handle it." I didn't find that to be a professional response after my screen was damaged during their service. When I returned to the shop, the store manager said they would "look into it," but there was no sense of urgency to resolve the situation. Instead, I was told that the "back end" was looking into it. That response felt vague and did not give me confidence that they were taking responsibility for the damage. After spending $700 at this shop, I expected them to stand behind their work and make things right immediately. Instead, it felt like they were more interested in delaying the situation than taking responsibility. At no point did they make me feel confident that they intended to compensate me for the damage if the screen didn't recover. It also felt like the tint job itself was rushed. A professional tint shop should take the proper precautions to protect sensitive electronics before spraying solution throughout a vehicle's interior. Instead, I left with a damaged screen and am now worried I may have to replace an expensive part that was in perfect condition before my appointment. This experience completely destroyed my trust in this business. I cannot recommend this shop. Save your money and take your vehicle somewhere that values quality work, stands behind its services, and treats its customers with honesty and respect. Extremely frustrating experience with Jet Black Tint. What they advertise and what they actually honor are two very different things. I originally contacted them about their $399 full-vehicle tint promotion, which clearly states it includes the windshield and up to seven windows. To avoid any confusion, I even went to the shop the day before and spoke with Joe in person to confirm the quote and details. We discussed the coverage and everything seemed clear. The next day I brought my car in with my family expecting to proceed with the agreed pricing. That's when the story suddenly changed. Right before signing, they told me the promotion only covers the "non-tinted portion" of the windshield, and because my car is a Tesla, tinting the entire windshield would cost an additional $300. This was never disclosed during my conversation with Joe the day before, despite specifically confirming the quote. If Tesla windshields are excluded or treated differently, that should be clearly explained upfront -- not revealed after the customer shows up ready to proceed. Changing the terms at the last minute after confirming the deal in person the day before felt like a clear bait-and-switch tactic. I wasted time making two trips there and bringing my family along based on pricing that they ultimately refused to honor. Very shady business practices. I was really skeptic going here. Usually bigger corporations come with bs excuses if you want it done a certain way. I usually go to a mom and pop spot but I see this business on social media and it seems like they do a great job. Called for an appointment. The guy on the phone was very helpful. Made a same day appointment. Brought it in and the guys took care of me. I was pretty wowed on how fast it was done. Waited a few days for the tint to settle in before I rolled down my windows. So the first time I rolled down my windows I was surprised that the tint had a gap from where the tint was placed and the edge of the window. My window was previously replaced so it was not original but that shouldn't be the case. So I bring it back to ask if they can redo it to where the window is fully covered. They said it would come out the same because my window is crooked and it's laser cut unless we hand cut it( which this is the way tint was done before) but we would have to charge you extra. Now going to a corporate runned place vs and mom and pop shop. This is where it matters. I was told this is the way they do it and if we do it over you will be charged extra. The work looks like it's from the 80's! I'm not satisfied is what I told the guy at the shop and the so called 3rd party over the phone. Now if this was and mom and pop shop. They would've explained to me in the beginning that the window being not original or even just doing the work right the second time without the bs explanation. Before I left the shop the guy at the shop was on the phone talking to " management " and said the manager will call you and explain in an hour. CORPORATE BS! If a customer is not satisfied. Yes explain, I get it but as a customer wanting some redone because you aren't satisfied and the business telling you that you have to pay more because I'm not satisfied with the work done! CORPORATE BS! Update: The owner actually responded and took care of the matter. I really appreciate it. My experience at Jet Black Tint & Glass on 01/28/2026 in the Redwood City location, was NOT good and very poor Customer Service. You are scheduled an appointment over the phone, to still come into the shop on your (scheduled time) to then have to wait another 30 and or 40min.. in order to be serviced. After having my window tinted, it became very clear that the job wasn't done properly. The tint had smudges along with bubbles after (5 days) of drying. I then took my car back only to get the runaround for the second time. They did repair the damage however days later the window was WORSE.. I now scheduled an appointment at the Burlingame location, only to find out it was the same employee's from the Redwood City branch. I dropped my car off at 10:00am on 02.11.26 to get it repaired one more time only to return to my car at 2:20pm without it being touched. The employee lied and said he retinted the window however, there were no signs of fresh tint at all. He looked me in my face and lied to me. I left a sticker in the top left hand corner of the window, so that if the tint had to be removed the sticker had to be broken and or removed in order to replace my tint, which would have given me an indicator that it was actually re tinted. He basically lied to me and only sprayed alcohol on the window hoping that it would fix the issue however it made my window worse. I am now in correspondence, with management however if the job would have been done correctly and or stood by we would not have the issue that I'm having today. I will NEVER allow Jet Black Tint to service any of my cars, moving forward. They clearly do not stand behind their work even with a warranty. Stay tuned!!!! Be AWARE!! read more

Save yourself the headache and avoid Jet Black. I brought my car in to have all of the windows tinted, and the quality of the work was extremely disappointing. After noticing multiple defects, I spent nearly two weeks trying to schedule a warranty appointment because they kept passing me around and giving me the runaround. When I finally made it in, I pointed out the issues and was told, "It's not even that noticeable and not a big deal." My response was simple -- when I'm paying over $800 just for the front windshield tint alone, it absolutely is a big deal. To make matters worse, when they redid the front windshield, they damaged my windshield sensors. Since then, I've tried reaching out multiple times, and now they won't even answer the phone and are completely ignoring me. Also, don't be fooled by the prices they advertise on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. The pricing they promote is misleading and never ends up being what you actually pay. A quick look at their Better Business Bureau page shows plenty of similar complaints from other customers as well. This company does not stand behind its advertised pricing, workmanship, or customer service. I would strongly recommend avoiding them altogether. read more

Don't come here unless you want bad customer service. I had an appt today at 11am and pulled in to an open but empty garage. I call customer service and said they were busy helping a customer. Fine. Immediately after, I get a text message to come in 45 min later. When I do, an employee was already helping a customer and I was told to wait again for an available employee. He comes in, walks around, definitely sees me but not once approaches or greets me. Another customer with a later appt time pulls in and is IMMEDIATELY assisted. Got my Infiniti G37 tinted here. The car's window automatically rolls down slightly when you open the door, which messed up the tint and made it peel. I returned, and they replaced the tints for free under the lifetime warranty, even though it wasn't their fault. They fixed it by making the tint longer, so the tint doesn't get caught when the window rolls down. Besides that, the customer service is top notch. Extremely unhappy with my recent tint job. I've had so many tiny jobs on all my previous cars and Ive never seen such poor quality on tint jobs before. I get that water bubbles and air bubbles dissipate but contaminate (silver bubbles) is likely due to poor preparation. Sure it looks good once you leave the place because your window is a different color and the tint is still wet so it's easily overlooked. Lifetime warranty is nice if they honor it which I felt like I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to agree to. I wanted to go to a different place Ultimately, I thought going to a well branched company would have an appropriate standard of quality of work but tint is very installer dependent. Go to people that have been doing it for a long time, it may cost more but you'll only have to go to them once. I noticed a lot of contaminant the days after it was done. I took my vehicle here the very first time and i had 5% tint applied to all windows and satisfied. But a couple days later i came back again and got it replaced for 20% due to the 5% being very dark especially at night. Ofcourse i paid for the removal and retinting and was given a discount. The job was good in all windows but the back window/roof had a huge bubble and they damaged the defroster grid during removal and melted the film.
