Two hours later, I got another email addressed to "Marcos" with a different driver's name and a different company. Owner lied to me and my wife about gratuity not being included. I confirmed with him twice and repeated it to my wife that there was no gratuity included. Driver was cool and I tipped him 30+% cash then when final invoice came it included another 15%. I don't do business with liars as there is nothing worse in a person than being a liar. I received a public response to my negative review instead of a message from the business manager. Im not sure who they are. Their response to my review of their inaccurate and misleading "24 hour service" advertising was to accuse me of not planning ahead. They falsely said I called them because my Uber left me stranded. No where did I mention that I was stranded by an Uber. That wasn't the case at all. But I imagine they're good at lying and misleading information. I also didn't call at 3am. I made a reservation in the afternoon for a 4am pick up. I needed to schedule a pick up on an emergency basis to get my boss's wife a ride to the airport because my boss had a medical emergency and we needed to get her a ride ASAP. This is not something you can plan ahead for. I tried reserving in the afternoon. I kept calling after the fact when no one got back to me. It wasn't until 3:45 that they answered, but I had been calling way before that. Again, if you don't offer 24 hour services- don't advertise that you do. The point here is that a driver was needed on an emergency basis. They claimed to have 24 hour service but they do not. It shouldn't matter when I call. If you're open 24 hours you should have someone available. Stop harassing customers who call you out on your misleading ads. read more

We went to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta this past weekend. I can't say enough amazing things about Marcos and Simja. Not only did they promptly and professionally conduct pick ups and drop offs, but they communicated with us constantly, enabling full transparency on their location, eta, and the specific car and driver to expect. When traveling, this is paramount. Additionally, they went above and beyond to make sure we could visit the sites of our choice, while still making it to the airport on time. Used New Mexico Black Car Service from ALQ airport to Santa Fe and Back. On time at airport, patiently waited for baggage retrieval as it took almost an hour for it to be claimed. Took our bags off carousel, placed them in car and assisted us into car. Drivers were very professional, neatly dressed ,kind and safe drivers.. Water and wipes available in very clean and comfortable car. Upon departure we were met at hotel, baggage retrieved and place in car, taken to airport. Drivers Simon and Moses gave us a travelogue along the way which was very informative. Highly recommend this car service. read more

So thankful we happened upon this taxi service. We landed in Santa Fe and realized... Santa Fe doesn't have ubers?? We thought we were going to be stranded at the airport until the taxi driver came up to us and offered us a ride. We ended up riding with another traveler (which was great because we were able to split the ride between us) I will say for a less than 15 minute ride the price was pretty steep but it was our only option and we did have a good experience. Our driver was a seasoned resident in Santa Fe and gave us a lot of great tips and restaurants to try. read more

I was going to park at one of the metered parking spaces on Palace Avenue. The Black Taxi employee saw my blinker and reverse lights, but he still came right behind me and wouldn't let me back in. When I called to complain, MARCOS TRUJILLO was very unprofessional because I said parking lot instead of parking meter! He then told me to call the PRC. I know the family of MARCOS TRUJILLO who started a limousine service in the 80s or 90s. With the same UNPROFESSIONAL attitude, his company would probably flop! read more

First-rate car service. I reserved online one week ahead. Received 'order received' email which said watch for Confirmation . Confirmation arrived next day with driver name and picture. My flight was super delayed. I called office and they confirmed they already knew and that my driver would wait. I was so relieved, esp as my 10:30 pm arrival turned into midnight! Drivers Were friendly and seemed to be service oriented. I never received a receipt via email or text although I requested it several time. I asked about a return trip and one of the people there sent information to my cell phone. The next day I continued by text to the person taking my information and by email to the main office to get a receipt and confirm pickup for the next day. Radio silence for several hours. I then called the main number and the person yelled at me for trying to text a driver (I didn't know that was what he was) or not contacting the main office. I said I email hours ago and was Asking now. He was so rude, I cancelled the return trip. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Marcos, the owner of this service was totally rude and left me without car service from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. I was meeting up with 4 other people arriving from around the US. I gave Marcos all the flight info which he said he'd use to track the flights. Instead of tracking the flights ( I had also called to inform him of cancellations which were beyond our control) he slated the car to come for us even though 4 of the 5 people had not arrived into the airport. He told me he'd put out a warrant for my arrest AND have my license suspended if I ever tried to drive in NM. I booked and received several confirmation emails for my 4:10am airport pickup, and nobody showed up. I called over and over again with no answer. When I finally got in touch with the company several hours later, the gentlemen on the phone was rude. He said, " it's difficult for us to do such early morning rides". My group of 7 used the car service extensively during our 5 day visit to Santa Fe. This included 2 separate transfers from the airport and numerous other trips in a 7 seater van to the city of Santa Fe, Taos and the Taos Pueblo, the quaint town of Madrid, the Georgia O'Keefe Museum and numerous restaurants where we had dinner reservations. And, on the day of our departure, sent 2 vans to accommodate all 7 of us and our luggage and didn't charge us for the second van! A special shout out to owner Marcus and his special team of drivers, Gerard, Steve, Tony etc. They were uniformly courteous, friendly, helpful even stopping for a wine and pizza pickup after a long day in Taos. I rarely write reviews, but this case required a review. The person who answered the phone at NM Black Car last evening was an individual with no customer service courtesy at all. I asked about going to the SF airport for an early morning flight and when I questioned why he said we needed to leave much earlier than I thought necessary he launched into many many F-bombs telling me how stupid I was and how he was the expert and I was just a dumb F for not accepting his direction on timing. After I tried to ask another logical question, he launched into more F-bombs before hanging up on me. This morning, I left for the airport using another transportation service at the time I was trying to have NM Black Car pick me up and I arrived plenty early for my flight. The service provided on front end was great. Have no issue. They were quick to schedule pick up and reservation process was good. However... a big however! Three weeks after we used the service I received an email telling me to pay my bill. I made the reservation on my Amex Platinum. They emailed me (again 3 weeks after the fact) saying my card did not go through. Confused I responded by saying, "let me check my statement" just to make sure. This led to the most unprofessional, rudest responses I have ever had with a car service. We received email from them regarding declined card late at night, resolved it next morning. The link they sent to update card information was wrong and they continued to berate my wife, even avoiding our call when we just tried to call office to give them updated credit card info. Instead, they sent texts (and wrong link to correct issue) that were almost appalling! Of course, we settled the issue. After he berated me (and I was so nice and apologetic), I sent this after paying... " I actually had to use my visa. The Amex still wasn't working for some reason. And no, we did not receive a notification from Amex. You could have saved yourself a lot of time and energy by immediately reaching out when the card was declined so we could take care of it instead waiting 3 weeks and assuming we were intentionally avoiding payment. It took about 10 seconds once you sent the correct link, Unbelievable. And incredibly rude. I have never dealt with anyone quite as rude before. Don't assume everyone is a bad guy. We actually happen to be people who pay our bills. Good gosh. By the way, people who don't pay their bills don't immediately respond via text phone and email to someone the first time they reach out about a declined payment. Think about that one." This company has to have the worst customer service I've experience in quite some time. After having our flight delayed we decided to leave the airport and asked the driver if he could take us to the Ranch House which is 4 miles away. He quoted $55 one way (compared to $15 Uber XL). I asked if that was negotiable since it was such a short trip..he became hostile and told me that I needed to consider "the cost of living in Santa Fe" and if I wanted to negotiate rates I'd have to call the owner. I called the owner (Marcos I believe)and he was equally as hostile and told me "if you don't want to pay then call Uber and ride in someone's shitty Camry". I had a very good experience with Black Car. I had to be at the Santa Fe airport for a 6:40 am flight. Road Runner couldn't take me; they didn't have a driver for that time. I made a reservation with Black Car. Hector, the driver, came at exactly 5:15, was courteous, friendly, helpful and provided bottled water. The cost of $60 seemed high but I was desperate and it was very early in the morning. I was a little concerned that when I called for a reservation I could hear loud children in the background. The car we rode in to SAF in was old. The right back door panel was loose and seemed like it would come off if I pulled too hard. (See picture). The check engine light was on. Driver was quiet and courteous. No obnoxious smells. Ride was uneventful. Price was high, $55 plus tax. New Mexico Black Car Service is FABULOUS!! This car service rescued me on a Wednesday night, when I'd landed in Santa Fe with no way to get into the central Old Town area. A Santa Fe tourism site I relied on said one can easily get taxis, Uber or Lyft at the airport. None of this was true and with the 2 car rental companies sold out, I was stranded. Thankfully, a guy at Hertz gave me the information for this car service. Marcos scrambled a bit to try and make something work for me. He gave me a quote over the phone, described in detail what that fee covered, and within less than 30 minutes he had a driver at the airport. Yes, it's a little on the pricey side, but it's a first class service, the vehicles are spotless, and the staff and personnel, friendly and utterly professional. I couldn't be happier. I booked them for the ride back to the airport as well. The reservation to SAF was for 8:00 a.m. Marcos sent text messages with status updates, and he drove up to the hotel AT 8:00 a.m. A++++. 5 s. Please DO NOT use this car service. I had a very dangerous car ride with a driver who (a) got very lost because they could not follow directions on their phone, (b) held their phone in their hand while driving, (c) got so lost we were driving on construction roads. We were lost for a good 20 minutes. Finally I had to pull up directions on my phone and told them where to turn. It was a terrifying experience. The driver was not even apologetic and asked for a tip at drop off. It's a miracle we made it to our destination safely. read more
