Servers are the hub of Merrell's wheel keeping orders running smoothly, efficiently and customers all ages happy. Today's Server was fabulous Abbey. She shines "bright like a diamond." Paying close attention to requests, drinks, friendly and engaging. I will get the one bump out of the way that has nothing to do with Merrell's and everything to do with those persons lacking situational awareness. Remember mother teaching inside voice versus outside voice esp on cell phones with LOUD speakers. We all have a right to enjoy our meal within a reasonable sound decibel. I said, let's move. He said no, we'll wait for our food and eat right here. That was until the first deafening shriek emanating from the cell and then he snapped to attention like he was back in the war. Oh, yes. We moved far enough to another table and Abbey didn't judge us. She did comment but you guys were there first. Peace matters. I'll take peace, final answer. We ate a light lunch today. Let's get serious tho! You cannot go wrong with the six (6) mini Calzones and Stromboli Appetizer! Impeccable! Perfect dough, sweet Italian sausage, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, homemade Italian marinara dipping sauce; not the salty paste casually served elsewhere like it's not important. Dipping sauce make a difference. You know what I'm saying here. Now, wait, hubby and I def shared. Portions are generous. He ordered a Cheesesteak all the way and made a claim I've never heard before. The cheese steak was the best he's ever had. Wait a dern minute! I'm a Philly girl. Home of Pat's and Geno's. Them's fighting words! TBH. Not everyone knows a good pizza or authentic Italian food but Merrell's Pizza knows. You don't have to believe me.
