We typically try to come by at least once a month---especially on Wednesdays after our chiro appt. We typically get the pizza which is 50% off on Wednesdays. The place wasn't even half full and service was slow. We ordered our pizza and it was as if they got takeout at Little Caesars. Underwhelming, almost no sauce, & if held in the right light you probably could have read thru it. I paid for my sister-in-laws so I wouldn't have to hear any complaints. Not sure if this was an off night, management and/or ownership has changed, or what, but if they do this back to back trips...color me gone forever. read more

Great staff. Helpful and informative. When been several times and are always treated well. The food is consistently good, regardless is when we go. There are some great dishes there. This was one of the worst dining experiences I had in a long time. The restaurant was half empty and the staff treated us like they were too busy or didn't care at all about customer service. They didnt give us silverware to eat until I got up and asked (after the appetizer had been at the table for 10 minutes) and she said "yeah I'm getting it" as she's chatting with her friend. We ordered 4 burgers and a salad and it took 43 minutes to get our food. Yes, after 30 I kept track bc it was so unbelievable. With the restaurant half empty they sat our party of 5, with my 90 year old grandma, at a high top under the AC. Everyone was freezing and finally I asked them to lower the blow and they turned it off, thank goodness, only to have a employee walk over and turn it back on 10 minutes later and stand under it waving herself. It was just terrible and I will never ever go back. No wonder it was slow on a Saturday. Food taste was abysmal. read more

On road trip through South Carolina. I checked Yelp and I decided on the Farehouse. It was formerly a large textile mill that has had some of the buildings converted into restaurants, breweries and retail. The Farehouse has a great industrial vibe to it and although there were only a few patrons when we were there I can imagine this place being loud and noisy during the rushes. We were seated immediately and our order was taken shortly thereafter. I ordered the meatball sandwich with house made chips and my wife had the turkey blt with a side salad. The meals were good. The meatballs were a tad salty the rolled it was served in was yummy. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and said that the jalapeño aoli was good. Price wise it was under $30 for both with soft drinks, minus the tip. read more

We enjoyed a fantastic meal tonight at The Farehouse. It was our first visit. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The service was timely without being pushy. We enjoyed some nice cocktails, a pretzel (the best we've had in town!) and seared duck and a cheeseburger as our entrees. The food was fantastic!! Nestled in the Taylor Mill development is this industrial vibed American style eatery. Great spot for a quick lunch and a refreshing mocktail or cocktail of your choosing! I had the grilled pimento cheese sandwich which was fantastic and my fiancé had the turkey BLT (pictured) which was also very tasty and filling. Service was quick and friendly and menu prices seemed to be reasonable for what was offered. Would return here for a double date or a quick lunch! read more

The food was great. We had shrimp and grits and pork belly. The half salad was a much bigger portion than I thought, about the size of a normal salad anywhere else, so worth the price in my opinion. Looking forward to going back again to try more of the menu. read more

After a second visit, I think it's fair to say the Farehouse is a good establishment, nothing about it really stands out, but it is a good place for drinks and food. It's a charming little place inside of a larger community of small business, a place for locals to hangout. It is nice to see a bar well stocked with some of the finer spirits in such a small town but do yourself a favor and get a new glass with every drink, no drink should be served without fresh ice. I think it's also fair to say the farehouse serves a good pizza, although the price seems a bit high for what they serve, especially when it comes to the Pimento cheese. Oddly enough they go heavy on the cheese and light on the crostini, seems a bit backwards to me, either way it's very good so spread it thick. Cheers! read more

Service aka: Noah gets 5 stars and is the reason for Farehouse's 2 stars.Noah was amazing & highly attentive to our needs and did his best to make our 1st visit enjoyable. The food was just not to our liking. I confused the loaded potato wedges with potato skins. What we got was loaded wedge fries that were inedible. Everything is coated w a jalapeño sauce. If you like jalapeños you'll love this place. The atmosphere & music were great. Loved Noah, but he's not enough to bring us back & eat. read more

Just left the Farehouse. Made reservations for Valentines Day. Had their special. With drinks spent around $300. Was disappointed that they gave roses to some women at the restaurant and not all. Would think if you made reservations for their Valentines dinner you would receive a rose. Should have just went to the bar and ordered pizza, because the women at the bar received a rose. Thankful I have a wonderful husband that gave me roses. Please remember if you do for some you need to do for all. Very disappointed read more
