This place has the best pizza and salad. Also obsessed with the wine. Wednesdays we do half off pizza and bottles and love it!

We typically try to come by at least once a month---especially on Wednesdays after our chiro appt. We typically get the pizza which is 50% off on Wednesdays. The place wasn't even half full and service was slow. We ordered our pizza and it was as if they got takeout at Little Caesars. Underwhelming, almost no sauce, & if held in the right light you probably could have read thru it. I paid for my sister-in-laws so I wouldn't have to hear any complaints. Not sure if this was an off night, management and/or ownership has changed, or what, but if they do this back to back trips...color me gone forever. read more

Never order from this place. maybe it's called not your moms alfredo because no respectable child would let their mom eat it Apparently they hate anybody who gets takeout or delivery. I kinda liked the food when I went there in person. I lived here for three years and I've ordered delivery/takeout three times and it was absolutely terrible like I felt like I was being punked. Last night my mom ordered the "not your moms alfredo" Am I mom is currently going through cancer treatment and barely eats to begin with and she got nauseous and I'm actually thankful for that because she didn't even get to see what had been delivered which was atrocious like an absolute crime of pasta. And they charge you more for blackened everything yet the shrimp was not blackened at all unless they think that rubbery chewed up pieces =blackened shrimp. There was no sauce on the "Alfredo" like I don't know what kind of chef has not learned that especially with a cream sauce you put the pasta in the pan with the sauce and the pasta and you sauté it a little so it clings to the pasta, and by the cling, I don't mean so it all clings together in some giant mop form of a pasta ball what was giving to me of the little bit of sauce half of it was in the bag because who puts a pasta dish in a container with ridges at the bottom and holes at the top that container is not for pasta that container is for like a Panini or french fries or something that you want to keep crisp so you wanna let the steam out. This is the opposite of the type of container that you want to put an Alfredo sauce in. Do you want that Alfredo to stay moist and hot. Especially since it's one of the dishes that you can't really reheat well I could've because I know how to, but I couldn't because it was all stuck together in one giant brick missing its pearl onions missing the blackened shrimp. In a restaurant, you should have your best chefs on the weekends on a Friday and Saturday night. All they do I guess is focus on the drinks at the bar because they're not making food whatsoever like this is embarrassing if I ever order from this restaurant again somebody please commit me to a mental institution. Everything was horrible. This place is a joke and also I'm gonna make another comment because I don't feel bad for this restaurant whatsoever. The other orders that I found to be absolutely horrible in the last three years I ordered the turkey BLT terrible the meatball sub terrible the prosciutto melon and burrata .. lowest quality prosciutto you could probably ever eat. It was probably boars head which basically taste like old basement meat. They don't even make their own burrata. And they used to have that jerk chicken dish on the menu. I guess they stop making it because they messed it up so bad I mean literally the one time I ordered it. I asked for no mushrooms because I'm allergic and instead of chicken, they gave me mushrooms. I actually could've died from their food . Oh, and their expensive wedge salad literally got sent to me. It was all yellow and wilted ... like that's not a wedge salad first of all I should've known better because the wedge salad is supposed to have those crispy onion strings, but there was like no blue cheese and the wedge lettuce itself had gone bad. How can you sell that customers for that much money I don't understand like I wouldn't even give that to a rabbit. I don't understand Their pricing is so out of whack it's it's crazy. You should never charge $30 for a pasta dish if you're not making your own pasta and they clearly don't because they made their own pasta they would have more respect for the dish. And if you're gonna charge for blackened protein, you better blacken it. All in all the last thing I gotta say is. THE FAREHOUSE IS ANYTHING BUT FAIR. They should change their name to the fraud house or the fake house. I don't think anybody who cooks there knows anything about what they're doing whatsoever like literally give me 10 bucks and I can make a better dish than their $30 plates. And anyone who is riding that their pizza is delicious clearly is from SC. I'm from New York and I'll tell you right now. Their pizza is disgusting. I had better pizza from the lunch ladies in my middle school growing up. It's literally so much worse than just buying a Totino's pizza roll or Bagel bites or Digorno .. like I don't even taste that they're even using a pizza oven or anything. They're not even trying and the price that they charge considering that the slices are smaller than a pizza cutter is ridiculous. They trying like charge you more because they say everything is heirloom this and that it's not it's literally fraud. [[HIGHLIGHT]]there's nothing organic or original or rustic or charming about this place aside from the decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is nothing authentic whatsoever. On road trip through South Carolina. I checked Yelp and I decided on the Farehouse. It was formerly a large textile mill that has had some of the buildings converted into restaurants, breweries and retail. The Farehouse has a great industrial vibe to it and although there were only a few patrons when we were there I can imagine this place being loud and noisy during the rushes. We were seated immediately and our order was taken shortly thereafter. I ordered the meatball sandwich with house made chips and my wife had the turkey blt with a side salad. The meals were good. The meatballs were a tad salty the rolled it was served in was yummy. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and said that the jalapeño aoli was good. Price wise it was under $30 for both with soft drinks, minus the tip. read more

Nestled in the Taylor Mill development is this industrial vibed American style eatery. Great spot for a quick lunch and a refreshing mocktail or cocktail of your choosing! Our group of six arrived ahead of our 5:30 pm reservation. The hostess warmly greeted us and showed us to our table, set and ready for us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was very lively, the noise level loud because of the high, former industrial use ceiling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and showed us just the right amount of attention. The meal began with a big and very hot, (had to cut with utensils to not burn the fingers), Bavarian pretzel and cheese sauce, which everyone enjoyed. Although the menu says they cook their salmon to medium, unfortunately mine on the kale salad I ordered was well done, and the balsamic vinaigrette somewhat flat. My husband's Italian sandwich tasted alright, albeit unusual, with caramelized onion and roasted cherry tomatoes taking the place of the usual pepperoncini peppers and olives. Two people in our party had huge chicken wings, three each, most of which were fried past well done. That said, the other two very much enjoyed their meals, one with shrimp and grits, and the other with an Italian pizza. My friend celebrating her birthday also enjoyed a slice of rich dark chocolate cake that another friend surprised her with. Despite the cooking fish and chicken too long, hot food was very hot, and cold food was right temp. If ever in Taylors again, we'd probably give The Farehouse another try. read more

This was one of the worst dining experiences I had in a long time. The restaurant was half empty and the staff treated us like they were too busy or didn't care at all about customer service. They didnt give us silverware to eat until I got up and asked (after the appetizer had been at the table for 10 minutes) and she said "yeah I'm getting it" as she's chatting with her friend. We ordered 4 burgers and a salad and it took 43 minutes to get our food. Yes, after 30 I kept track bc it was so unbelievable. After a second visit, I think it's fair to say the Farehouse is a good establishment, nothing about it really stands out, but it is a good place for drinks and food. It's a charming little place inside of a larger community of small business, a place for locals to hangout. It is nice to see a bar well stocked with some of the finer spirits in such a small town but do yourself a favor and get a new glass with every drink, no drink should be served without fresh ice. I think it's also fair to say the farehouse serves a good pizza, although the price seems a bit high for what they serve, especially when it comes to the Pimento cheese. Oddly enough they go heavy on the cheese and light on the crostini, seems a bit backwards to me, either way it's very good so spread it thick. Cheers! read more

I came here for a friend's birthday and we were in a private room which was nice. I thought it was weird that we had one server for the whole group. They had pitchers of drinks like water on the side and they told us we could refill it ourselves which I thought was strange. Food came out at a decent time but my food was not warm at all. My husband got the chicken and waffles and it was sooooo sweet. I got the grits bowl and it was good but I wish it had more gravy to go with it. I did ask for hot sauce and nobody brought it out.
