Here's a stronger, more polished version that clearly communicates your frustration while making it more likely people will take it seriously: Every single time I order from this pizza place, I leave one very simple instruction: Leave the food at the door. Do NOT knock. My wife works night shifts and is trying to sleep during the day. It isn't a preference--it's there for a reason. Yet somehow, every single delivery, the instructions are ignored. Instead of leaving the food at the door, the driver knocks repeatedly, waits outside expecting me to answer, and today even called the store because I wasn't coming to the door fast enough. When I finally answered, I heard him say with an attitude, "Never mind, they answered." No, the problem isn't that I didn't answer the door. The problem is that you never bothered to read the delivery instructions in the first place. You stood outside for 10 minutes because you ignored the one instruction that would have prevented all of this. Needless to say, there was no tip. Tips are earned by providing good service, and following basic delivery instructions is part of that service. Please do better. Read your customers' delivery notes. They're there for a reason, and ignoring them creates unnecessary frustration for everyone involved. I would have put a 1 star review but those are to easy to remove. read more

Ordered a take out in person, to go pizza. With the coupon it was $17.99 for a large Detroit style with 3 toppings. Has 8 square cut large pieces. We went with sausage, pepperoni, and green peppers. The sausage is real sausage pieces not the cut sausage kind like you get at some other pizza places. The sauce was on the sweeter tasting side, but was still good. We also asked to keep it in the oven a little longer to make it crisper. Order was ready in about 15 minutes like the gentleman said. Was hot and good even once we got home. Clean inside. Was busier because it was a Friday night but they got it out fast. Tons of other food offering which I'm sure we will be back to try. read more

We get takeout from Jets all the time. I think their 8 corner pizza is just heaven. If you like a deep dish pizza with a perfectly carmelized crust, great sauce and plenty of toppings, Jets may be your heavenly pizza too. Staff is always friendly on the phone and we always pick up, so i can't comment on delivery. The place always looks clean and inviting. I don't use the Jetbot, he always screws things up, but AI and I don't get on well. read more

Second time ordered pizza from Jets Pizza on Peachland in Port Charlotte. The first time I was afraid it was a fluke. Happy to report it wasn't. The second time was better. Ordered on line so no human contact except the young lady that made the delivery. She was smiling and very happy. Extremely polite as well. We're on vacation here and it was a great experience! This was the first time using Jets. We ordered the 4 corner custom pizza and a medium Greek salad. Pizza was great, and salad was great. Everything was ready when we arrived. The only downside was not enough dressing for a medium size salad. read more

Just tried this place! Used a 50% off coupon! Got a sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, large Detroit square pan pizza for $15 It was thicker crust than I'm used to but great crust good flavor, Chewy and juicy! Perfect amount of sauce! Because it looks like they offer coupons and deals will be using them instead of our regular pioneer pizza which is always $30 for large 3 toppings! When hubby picked up they forgot to do our pie so he had to wait, they gave him a coupon for a free large next time! Yaaaay! Love it when a business knows how to treat their customers! read more

Just moved to the area and I have had this pizza numerous times, definitely my go to. Have not been in to eat, but delivery is always fast and pizza is hot and fresh! My first experience, I had went with the Cajun crust... not for the faint of heart, but still quite good. Generous toppings and cooked perfectly! All the meats are delicious! Tried the cheese sticks the other day and they are delightful! Lovely crispiness to the bottom and sides of pizza and sticks, with light, airy goodness in the middle. It is Detroit style thick crust square pizza. I wasn't expecting it to be any good, but I was very wrong. No, it's not authentic NYC style Italian, it's completely different and really good. The sauce is really tasty. Prices are great. Two slices and a 20 ounce soda are always $5. Pioneer, Michelangelo's, and Boca Lupo all make really good NYC style but when you want something a little different but also excellent, try Jet's. read more

There's a place in Colorado called 5 star pizza that serves the Detroit style thick crust square pizza.. I heard Jets did it as well but for some reason I didn't think they would deliver to me because of distance but I said I gotta try tonight got their barbecue chicken Hawaiian and Greek salad medium. OMG it is so delicious my wife was afraid it was gonna be too much bread but when you bite into the perfectly cooked dough it is loaded with toppings in every bite... the Greek salad was huge and loaded with feta, olives, peppers and tomatoes so you could tell it was a great salad and the dressing was perfect sized to dress the salad... delivery took about 40 mins but considering the distance and everything was hot or cold the way it was supposed to I can't complain....
