They recently changed their system COMPLETELY. I'm sure they invested a lot of money to renovate the facility. However, I only see a significant difference in their rates, not in the convenience (as I elaborate below). The New System It used to be that you park your own car and go to one of the shuttle shelters to get an airport shuttle. Very simple. Now (starting March 2019), under the new system, you drive up to a station, use a kiosk to check in and drop off your car key. They park your car for you (i.e., parking valet). When you return, you scan your receipt and pick up your key from a pickup box and walk to your car. Assessment It's nice not having to look for a space to park, but considering the significant rate increase, I don't find this valet service worth while. In addition, it's a "half-ass" valet service because you would have to walk to your car when you pick it up. Pricing This is a long term parking facility, but now it costs about $24 (CAD) per day. If you book online, it's slightly cheaper, but it's still very expensive for long term parking. For example, I booked online and paid $100 for 6 days; the drive-up without an online reservation would have been $144. I did a fee comparison with the nearby Park'N Fly. Their fee was $112.92 for 6 days. Conclusions Wherever we park (JetSet or Park'N Fly), it costs about $20 (CAD) per day. It's not inexpensive to park in Seattle, but since there are more parking options there, there are great deals. I usually pay $10~$12 a day for off-site airport parking near SeaTac. We used this service Dec. 24-Jan.3 with no problems. Used them again Jan. 25-Feb. 5 and after a couple of days, I get an alert on my phone that my truck was open. Didn't think much of it at the time, however when we returned, I noticed my Maui Jim sunglasses were missing from the glove box. The only thing of value in the truck. Phoned Jet Set immediately only to get a "claim" number. After a week, no response so I've now sent them an email. Awaiting a response and the theft is making me re-think leaving my vehicle in the hands of this parking site. read more

Flew in late from Mexico - just missed the JetSet shuttle. 35 minutes for the next one. I could have walked to the lot in less time. If you have one bus, run it constantly. While we were waiting for the JetSet bus, we saw at least 15 Park-N-Fly buses. I will never use them again. I'd rather take a cab. read more

Ridiculous. This is a taste of the biodigital prison we can look forward to in our future. I showed up naively expecting I could just drive in. Nope, you have to make an online reservation, and not within 3 hours of needing it. It would be nice if they made that blatantly clear on their website. Luckily, I had plenty of time to spare before my flight so I was able to go elsewhere for 3 hours and come back. If you have a flight to catch soon, you'd be out of luck; not sure what you'd do. Upon entering, there are people working there, so I'm not sure why they don't have a direct phone line; the only one I could find was a general YVR phone number. You have to go to the big electronic machine and give it your passport and flight information. I'm not sure what business they have knowing any of those details. All I want to do is park my car!!! For some reason you aren't allowed to park your car yourself, which they promote as "valet service" (I guess they need to move your car around to optimize space for some unknown reason to me -- and I'm not comfortable with someone else driving my car around and having access to it). Unfortunately, leaving my car parked that long will cause my battery to drain so I have to disconnect it, which caused additional headache. Then upon return you have to use another big complicated computer machine just to get your key back. I can't think of any valid reason why anyone could think it was a good idea to abandon a perfectly good parking lot system which you drive into and get a ticket then park, then when you depart there are a couple kiosks you pay after inserting your ticket. What a concept! Seems simple. There are no cost savings to this place -- I counted at least 4 people working there and I shudder to think how much it took to design and build all those massive computer machines to "manage" us -- all paid for by us through YVR fees. Luckily it all went relatively smoothly, surprisingly, given all the opportunities for this ridiculous technology to cause a glitch. I will be doing everything in my power to avoid using this service again. read more

First time using jet set yvr. Was parking an electric car, they indicated that they would charge it. Returned 2 weeks later and battery was critically low. They had not charged it. Talked to site staff, they said I had to email the manager. Emailed manager, he said they were too busy and would not give me the 20% refund I asked for. Gave me a coupon for a future parking. It's ok, as you park your car there and it is there when you come back. But they could improve on a number of things. First, when you are leaving there is a big sign that says if despite having a reservation, the system is asking you to pay again, don't pay, but ask the cashier. Why does this happen so much that it warrants a sign? It happened to us, and we had to exit the car, go over to the booth, and get the cashier to come unlock the gate while a ton of cars were waiting behind us. Second, they need more frequent buses. Waited too long, and the bus came, it was too full. So, a tip for the luggage heavy travellers. Have someone go get the car when returning and drive back to the airport to pick up all your stuff. This is way easier than trying to navigate it all on the bus! read more

Strongly recommend that you don't park at Jetset YVR while construction is happening - my car was covered in hard to remove construction dust. Two chips in the windshield. I've parked here many times in the past and it was previously a satisfactory experience. I expect some amount of dust and grime on the car but it is now unacceptable because of the construction. Even after going through a car wash there was a lot of dirt on the car. Required a thorough hand washing with warm water. Worse yet - two chips in the windshield. How did that happen? Car was so dirty I didn't see the chips until I was driving home. Now that the car is clean the chips are impossible to ignore. read more

We recently booked weekend parking at JetSet Parking as attached confirmation describes. I have to submit my extremely negative comments about this parking facility!!! First of all, the entrance has now been under construction and is no better than a logging road! There are no indications as to when this construction will be completed and the entrance & exits improved or replaced. This surely does not present a pleasant experience for our visitors & frequent parking users. Second, why are all the handicapped spots completely blocked??? We have a handicapped notification in our vehicle but we had to go all the way to E station to find open handicapped parking even though all stations have designated handicapped parking which is fenced off or permanently blocked. Again, not something which presents a professional experience to parking users. Third on our return at midnight Sunday October 7, the exit machine was not working. We had to wait for a line-up of cars waiting to exit even though I had a token and had prepaid. The poor employee in the booth had to check each persons name and rebill for the already completed reservation!!! I hope that someone will read this and respond positively! This lot is the worst. The new "valet" lite system was conceived during a bender. Seriously, how anyone at the company thought this was a good solution is beyond comprehension. Did they hire a VP of Operations who was fired by a cable company for poor service??? CEO should be tar and feathered. A new low even for Jet Set which has a rich history of idiotic processes. Used them several times pre-covid, was always satisfied. First trip post-covid was very long wait for shuttle from airport. Subsequent trip was better so happy to use again however, just went to book again and rates are ludicrous. How disappointing. Will cost me less to take Uber to and from airport with Uber. read more

Beware this is a valet service now and prices have skyrocketed! You no longer park yourself, you pull into the parking area, and take your luggage out, and sign into the kiosk. Daily rates are $24.95 now which is a shock as rates previously were $15/day. Also no longer do you get a discount for your BCAA --discounts if you pre-book only. I'm not impressed as we were blindsided by the format and expense. I can just use the other ParkNFly and have a 20% discount. read more

FYI - JetSet is now valet parking only with no option to self park. This is not made explicitly clear when booking online. As someone who has had several prior negative experiences with valet parking I tend to avoid valet services as long as another option exists. When I asked staff for a guarantee that my car would not be driven excessive amounts of kilometres they pointed me to their disclaimer which the attendant had clicked "agree" for me when checking in. When I asked them to point out specifically where it outlined this claim they could not. I was assured they would "take a photo" of my kilometres before/after valet. I asked them how this had any relevance to how many kilometres my car would be driven and they chose to repeat their comments re: the photo several times and not to answer my question. When I asked what my recourse would be should there be damage to my car or excessive kilometres they could not. Not wanting to be late for my flight, already pre-paid and without other easy options I reluctantly left my car with the unprofessional staff. I travel frequently and will no longer be parking here. I will happily take more expensive options as long as NO VALET is an option. read more

I completely agree with Masanori D's review, the new system is a HUGE step backwards. I don't know what they were thinking with implementing this new system, they just jacked their rates way up and it's anything but quick when you do a "walk in" reservation. I paid $99 for 3 days (drop off at 6pm Mon, pick up at 10am Thurs), complete rip off now. Also apparently they have no way of honoring your AAA membership unless you book online, what the heck is that all about?! Attendant was even telling where else I should go to save money as they said the machines charge you by the day when you do walk up vs per 24hr timeframe. I was already in a rush so didn't have time to take her advice. Certainly will make me rethink about driving to YVR to fly out of. read more

We have parked our vehicle 2 times with them since this updated "Valet" system. Check in procedures were different both time and it was a lot more confusing then the old "Self Park" system. On return and leaving the parking area I noticed that somehow during the 2 weeks that we had been gone there was some kind of paint overspray on my windshield. Tried to get a hold of JetSet but only could send an email which hasn't yet to be answered. Not looking forward to having to pay for a complete detailing to get this stuff off. What a convenient and easy way to park your vehicle when going on holidays. We arrived at 3:30am and they had staff to help us with the quick process. We only waiting about 10 mins for the airport shuttle. When we came back from holidays at midnight, lots of staff there too to help. Our car had no damage and our mileage was virtually the same. I do not recommend this service based on the attitude of the attendant. It was very early in the morning 00:30 hours and our flight was 1.5 hours late getting in to Vancouver from Montreal. I had pre-paid online, my parking in the lot. When we went to exit, the attendant wanted to charge us $200 more than what we had paid, based on the fact that we were beyond our pre-paid noted exit time. When I explained that it was not my fault as the airline was late landing and I had fully intended to pickup the car before the noted exit time, he told me to 'take it up with the airline" and 'that's not my problem'. Although I understand the need to stick to the times you've paid for, how about some leeway, especially that late at night or early in the morning. read more

Had a very good experience: get in was easy - swipe CC you paid your parking, Shuttle every 10 minutes; we missed one and next one cane in about 5 minutes. Checking out and ride back was same as check in. Would recommend. Book online to save and get better rates. read more

Beginning in March, 2019, JetSet Parking reopened with a new program to seriously gouge customers. The new JetSet Parking is unbelievably, unreasonably, ridiculously expensive. I will never park there again. JetSet YVR Parking drive up rates are $24/day or $150/week with modest discounts available when you book online. Pre-booked parking online is $22.50/day when booking for five or more days or $110/week. And don't forget all the taxes on top of the pricing. Forget it! read more

I would not park here ever again and only gave one star because the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. I do not require valet parking, the increased costs or want to hand my vehicle over. ***BEWARE - your BCAA membership discount is NOT valid unless you pre-book online at least 3 hours in advance. I had no choice but to pay full POP $200.00 for 7 days and will hire a black car next time. The check in takes way longer to register you car the then it does for your flight. I was angry, because I had no choice or forewarning prior to entering the lot but not enough time to turn around and they know it. PLUS the last thing I want to do is talk to anyone at 4:30am and then enter car model, flight departure and return times and flight numbers. Are you kidding? Incredibly incompetent staff. Silly, immature, I explain to them that I wanted to leave my keys in the box that came up with a basic BS excuse. Then when I came back from my trip, one of the drivers had changed all the radio stations of my satellite setting. Booking was a breeze. But on entering the parkade, the machine could not read my credit card(to use the reservation), which i use daily. There was no one in person to help us with. Help desk(on call) told me just to get a ticket and enter. I hope my reservation is honoured when it comes time to pay and exit. We were somewhat worried about the shuttle bus upon reading not so good reviews on it. Gladly, getting a shuttle bus on time for our flight was not an issue. However, the bus driver left us beside the bus even if we managed to get to the bus before it left. You'd know how it feels like. We waited another 15 mins+ for the next one. Yeah... that's the level of service you should expect i suppose. I raised it to 3 stars after contacting the customer sevice on the phone. The person I talked to was very pleasant to talk to and very helpful. I was told to contact the help desk on exiting and the reservation will be honoured. I just hope that the card reader gets replaced soon so that others don't even have to go through this trouble. read more

Tried to park there this morning. I travel every other week or more every year out of Vancouver. Who ever the board of directors are for this business should seriously challenge management on delivering much better customer service.....or resign! As a former CEO in the parking business and businessman I have often wanted to comment but did not want to waste any more heartbeats. Well, today changed that. I arrived to be told the lot was full which it was maybe 15% full. The truth is that they are changing over to valet parking at higher rates. I can now either use valet parking, park even further out, wait 15 to 20 minutes for a bus that should come every 10 minutes max. While the construction is taking place at YVR there should be an effort to deliver even better customer service. The fact is you don't have many choices to park at YVR so poor management is not subject to much competition. That is left to individual employees who care and are on the ground trying to keep people happy. This change in structure is to make more money and not deliver any better customer experience, especially during construction. I would recommend any other company than Jetset parking. read more

I fly every weekend. But recently there has been some parking lot construction. They removed all the automatic lanes and only 1 Cashier lane remaining. The cashier process takes too long. This service was recently revamped and re-opened and it went so smoothly! I was travelling on my own to meet my husband so I was nervous as I am not a seasoned traveller and I was taking his car. The reservation process was easy (and I got a CAA discount!). The information online is really helpful. The signage is clear and it's easy to see where you're supposed to go. When I got there, there were several employees eager to help with the check-in, which took less than a minute. I asked how long it would be until the shuttle bus arrived; they said less than 6 minutes and as he's speaking, one pulls up. I get in, and we move out straightaway. When we got to the airport drop-off, the driver told me (without asking) "This is where you get the shuttle when you come back." When we got back, Customs was crowded and slow but it was not a problem - we caught the shuttle, retrieved our keys and our car was waiting. It was simple and painless! read more

BEWARE. Not a perfect system. Refunds takes 3 months? My husband and i booked on-line for jet set parking for 7 days and received confirmation via email. Printed it and dropped off car and went merrily away on our vacation. When we returned to YVR and picked up our car we followed the instructions and exited by inserting our same credit card which immediately charged the full amount AGAIN, un discounted rate. DOUBLE BILLED! When we went to the attendant and explained our problem she insisted that we were late returning and demanded 2 more hours -another $12 in cash. Absolutely outrageous! When we phoned Parking administration they apologized and said it could take 3 months to see the refund. 39 days and nothing. Not recommended. read more

I thought I'd give Jet Set parking a try, but I'm regretting that decision and will never use them again under any circumstances. The reason why? I had to cancel my flight due to a health emergency but because it was less than four hours before my parking reservation time I could not cancel or rebook and so will be charged the full amount of my advance booking. I'm just glad it was only a short trip - but $70.00 is a bit much of a penalty - almost as much as the airline rebooking fee. read more

I booked for 7 days parking online and according to their site just put the token into the token acceptor slot at express exit gates. The exit gate will then open to let us out which it's not true. The attendant asked us to give her the token instead. She tried to charge us for $144. We told her we booked parking online and already paid for the parking. She asked my last name and couldn't find it in the system. I told her I could just show her print out copy with barcode or email as proof. She refused and insisted to check her computer system. At the ended she asked for my paper because she couldn't find my last name in the system. What kind bs is that? Seriously, trying to double charge? What's the point to have the token? This parking lot worked fine for us during a 9-day parking stay; would park here again. We prebooked/prepaid on their website about a week in advance and paid about US$83 for 9 days. The entrance was well-signed and our credit card worked fine when we used it to enter the lot. These are my notes about JetSet for when I park there next time: -Book in advance online using credit card -Print and bring confirmation -Use same credit card to get the gate to open for you (don't take a ticket) -Use same credit card to exit (or give your confirmation printout and credit card to gate attendant) -No refunds for exiting early; the regular rate (higher than prepaid) applies for additional time if staying longer. It took us about an hour from landing time to pick up our car, but I'd allow at least 90 min on the parking reservation time to be safe. -Be sure to note (write down or note/photo on your phone) the row where your car is parked (the lot is very large) -The shuttle runs every 15 minutes or so and picks up/drops off at several locations in the lot (e.g. they stopped next to our car when they saw us unloading our luggage) -Remember where you get dropped off at the airport because you will catch the shuttle at the same location after returning read more
