I like supporting local businesses however their response time on repairs is way below satisfactory. It took them a week to schedule me in to look at my problem, another week to get the part in, and a third week to schedule me for the repair. I purchased a GE Monogram refrigerator from Jetson over the phone on approximately March 9, 2018. I never received a receipt except the credit card charge. The refrigerator has NEVER worked properly since it was installed. From the date of install it leaked badly. The first time I called the store on March 18th they brushed my concerns aside and said it was probably condensation. The second time I called I demanded someone come out and look at it they scheduled someone on approximately and the technician could not find the problem (even though I had towels under the refrigerator to catch the leakage and many 6 inch icicles in the freezer compartment). The second time they sent a technician, approximately 3 days later the first week in April, he acknowledged there was a problem but said he could not fix it. Around April 10th I asked for my money back from the contractor department and from the store manager in Stuart. I asked that they pick up the refrigerator that I would rather have no refrigerator than one that leaks all over my cabinets and kitchen. They told me they did not have the authority to do this that only the service manager could make that call. The third time they sent the Service Manager he was very helpful and fixed most of the leaks but shortly after that visit the refrigerator started making loud chugging noises. Additionally, the water maker leaks. I paid almost $10,000 for this refrigerator - which is incredible amount of money - and it is a piece of junk. I believe Jetson's sold me one that is a "second" or a return because this one did not come with the factory box and they had it on hand. However, they did not give me a discount or tell me it was a reconditioned unit. Jetson's sent a technician on April 29th. They informed me that I should call GE and try to get a new refrigerator from them that they could not fix the problem. This refrigerator has cost me MONEY. I have lost 4 days of work and this refrigerator has damaged my kitchen cabinetry - it has split the wood in places because of the water draining. I have made hours of phone calls being passed between the sales department and the service department and store management. No one claims they can make the decision to replace this horrible piece of junk and I am extremely disappointed in GE products and Jetson Appliance. read more

We purchased ALL of our appliances to furnish our new home. Within 5 months, the condenser on the refrigerator went bad. They came out and diagnosed the problem and we were told it would be a week before they could repair it. They brought us a temporary replacement refrigerator (only after insisting on our part) and when it came time to come back, they called the wrong number (after initially having the right one) to let us know what time. Naturally we were working and had no idea they were coming so when they came, no one was home! Had to wait again for another appointment! That's the first service problem.. Now the second. Ice maker stopped working. Called to set an appointment. Was told they would order the ice maker so that the technician wouldn't have to make two trips. Technician came out, verified we needed a new ice maker but........they had ordered the wrong one! Now he has to come out again! Apparently there is a very unorganized service department at Jetson's. They certainly don't make mistakes when it comes to selling $16,000 worth of appliances! read more

We have lived in Palm City for 27 years and always purchased our appliances and electronics from Jetsons so we were supporting a local business. Recently our refrigerator stopped cooling so naturally we called Jetson's service. The service call was $125, which I thought was high. The technician came out and diagnosed our refrigerator with a bad compressor and said it wasn't worth repairing as the cost for repair would be over $1,00. This obviously wasn't the news we were looking for. Ours is a counter depth model and the manufacturers have started making them 1/2 inch wider which would necessitate the opening altered. A major project. We decided to get another opinion so we were recommended to try Tim at Treasure Coast Appliance. Tim was great from the beginning. We discussed the Jetson diagnosis and Tim said if that was correct a new compressor would be about $575 installed (big difference). He said he wanted to come out and check the unit before ordering the part to ensure he ordered the right one. After testing the unit he discovered the compressor was fine and only needed a control board (same price as a compressor) however the Jetson tech had also taken another part with him that was needed to complete the repair. We contacted Jetsons and asked to have the part returned to us. The person on the phone was very rude and told my wife it was impossible as they threw all old parts out. More on this later. So we had to have Tim order the additional part, another $265. A day later he installed both parts and, voila, the compressor started right up and the refrigerator works fine. No new compressor needed. Total cost to Treasure Coast Appliance, $748 including $261 for the part Jetsons took. Cost for the repair without the stolen part, $487. A far cry from the nearly $1,100 Jetsons wanted plus their diagnosis wouldn't have fixed the problem. Tim at Treasure Coast Appliance told he pretty much follows Jetson's service people around and fixes their repair work. Sad from a company that used to be great to deal with. Backtracking a little. When Steve, the Jetson tech, came out and looked at our fridge, he said it was a bad compressor but could be the inverter (stolen part). Steve said he had a used one in his truck as he always kept spare units like this just in case. He took our unit out to his truck and brought in another. He said he tried it, just a plug in procedure, and that unit didn't work either so it was indeed a bad compressor. He left the part he said he just tried. Tim came out with the control board we needed and proceeded to make the repair. When it came time to install the inverter he discovered it was the incorrect part because the plug was completely different and the part was slightly larger. So Steve lied and never tried the part because it was the wrong one. Going back to contacting Jetsons to try and retrieve our original part, the woman on the phone was so rude we couldn't believe it. This had been a great company to do business with in the past. I then decided to go above her and she connected me with another person who said he was in charge of all service. I explained the situation to him and asked for a refund on our original service call and for the cost of the part. He was more cordial than the woman and said he would pass it along to his boss and I would get a call the following day. Six weeks later and I'm still waiting for the call. It seems like Social Media is the only way to get results these days, I decided to document what happened and post it everywhere I can. Who knows, maybe Jetsons will find the posts and think about the negative effects. read more

This is a shoddy company with poor customer service. They were quick to take my money but don't stand behind what they sell. They installed a GE Profile Range with double oven while the home was being renovated and I wasn't living here. As soon as I got down here I noticed the brand new appliance won't remain on for more than 30 seconds. They have refused to replace it and it's been a week since the service tech was here. HORRIBLE business practices. Bought a lemon Samsung refrigerator in June 2014 as ice maker stopped working one later. STILL not working. 8 visits from Jetson's repair. Icemaker elements are melted from being de-iced so many times (thank you Aldo) Bought 5-year warranty and they won't do a thing either - New Leaf Warranty Co....but I am the one writing, calling, getting stonewalled still to this day 5/3/2017!!!! read more

We bought, stove, dish washer, custom fridge, micro wave.. well we have had nothing but problems from day one with the very very expensive refrigerator. They have been out 7 times to fix the ice maker now water just dripping out all over the floor,our dish washer does not drain turns on it owns from the day we had installed.. All we want for the money we spent is it to work properly. When you call customer service there nice but my problem does NOT get fixed. I feel like we received LEMON appliances. The glass stove top peeled off, which is crazy should have never happened. read more

Recently purchased a full size washer/dryer stackable units from Jetsons in Stuart, FL. We had shopped the big box stores and found Jetsons would not only price match, but do their own service and deliveries. The crew that delivered could not have been better. Rainy day, and yet they were very careful and did a super job of placing the units in a very tight closet type location. Vincent the driver and lead person was very helpful and a true professional, Jetsons should be proud to have such an excellent representative in the field. This company was recommended to me for service to repair oven. Not in my entire lifetime have I ever had to deal with such inept and negligent service. Call anyone else for service but this company. Apparently they are great to sell you appliances but God forbid you ever need service. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing in the service dept. and nobody gives a darn. Good Lord help you if you purchase insurance on a tv from Jetsons! Lightning struck my house, frying the mother board of my 55" LG tv and I was glad I purchased the insurance from the sales staff who assured me, "lightning, flood, you name it and this $700 tv is covered and we'll give you a new one if anything happens to it for 5 years"! $129 later (cost of insurance ), I am the proud owner of the tv AND insurance. After calling New Leaf Insurance Co. who told me, "oh, your home owners covers it----if not, call us back and we'll git'r done." So, while waiting for adjusters, I am annoyed I bought the insurance and thought it a scam. I took the tv back to Jetsons, Stuart, FL and the sales staff informed me, "oh man, your home owners won't cover any acts of God, call New Leaf back." So I did and because I didn't lie to them about the reason for the frying of the tv, they tell me to pack sand----we don't cover acts of God. Service at Jetsons tells me I should have lied to New Leaf because then they would repair/replace the tv and all would be good----but since I didn't lie to New Leaf, I would have to pay! Then the poop hit the fan and I complained that I had been "had." To their credit (and my perseverance) I, hopefully, will be picking up my repaired television today at no cost. Wait until they hear me tell them I still have nearly 3 years left on my insurance coverage! Caveat emptor and be able to argue! read more
